The event backfired and “had the opposite effect” on some of the twelve or so prominent influencers there who admired DeSantis, three people who were at the meeting told the Times,

Republicans reveal a $200,000 personal check from James Biden to Joe Biden that they say is the strongest evidence yet that the president was directly involved in his family's business dealings.
According to bankruptcy court documents obtained by the House Oversight Committee, James Biden took money from his health care business Americore and sent it directly to his brother Joe Biden.
The documents show that in 2018, James Biden obtained $600,000 in loans from Americore. James was able to receive the loans based upon 'representations' that his last name, 'Biden,' could 'open doors.'

It's Joe Biden's favorite place – his summer home in Delaware where he has decamped dozens of times during his 1,000 days as Commander-in-Chief.
As DailyMail.com revealed on Tuesday he has spent at least 300 of those days either in the country's second smallest state or on vacation.
He bought the home at a time that it appeared his political career was over – five months after his Vice-Presidency had ended he was well into his 70s and after all he had decided to forgo a 2016 run for the top job.

Former President Donald Trump privately conveyed to allies on Friday he does not back House Majority Whip Tom Emmer’s bid for speaker, throwing another wrench into an already chaotic process to find the next person to hold the gavel.
Trump’s conversations come as Emmer has begun privately expressing his interest in the post. The Minnesota Republican, who has been making calls to fellow lawmakers, has emerged as an early frontrunner, having received the endorsement of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. But a sustained offensive from Trump, if one materializes, could spell doom, as any candidate for the job can only afford to lose a handful of votes.

Israel and the United States are also “New World” countries, formed in large part on the basis of religious and political freedom.
At a current national security level, the two countries share a similar strategic threat from enemies at their borders and, in some respects, enemies internally
