Happy Thursday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Joe Biden’s record of making any situation demonstrably worse simply by showing up is still intact after his trip to Israel. As I said in yesterday’s Briefing, all of us on this side of the aisle knew that nothing good could come of President LOLEightyonebillion being in the midst of such a delicate situation and — boy howdy were we right. Trainwreck Joe’s progressive policy peddling blitz has undoubtedly made the world less safe.
That seems to be one of the only things that Biden is good at.
As is so often the case with Joe Biden, even when he does manage to get

The Biden administration is already in hot water for appeasing Iran and unfreezing of $6 billion in Iranian assets which played a role in the attack that sparked the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. But did the Biden administration know about the attack in advance, too?
The Biden administration is trying to cover up what they knew about the planned assault on Israel, according to a report from Tablet Magazine. The outlet notes there have been conflicting stories leaked by U.S. intelligence services regarding their knowledge of Hamas’ assault on Israel. These leaks suggest that some in the administration fear that they may be held responsible for missing critical information

“Donald Trump Followers Targeted by FBI as 2024 Election Nears” headlined the October 4 report in Newsweek. “The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers.” Author William M. Arkin, an “award-winning journalist” and author of best-selling books, thus sets the tone right from the top.
Donald Trump has “followers,” language readers might expect for a religious cult leader, and these followers constitute an “army.” The challenge for the FBI, Arkin explains,

An Edinburgh couple say they are “in shock” after claiming Tesla gave them a £17,000 bill to fix their battery that was ‘damaged by the rain’.
Johnny Bacigalupo and Rob Hussey told how they have been faced with the massive bill when their £60,000 electric car stopped working when the capital was faced with extreme weather last week.
Following “frustrating” correspondence with the company, which boasts Elon Musk as its largest shareholder, the pair say they are still being asked to fork out £17,374 despite claiming no fault on their part. Johnny and Rob left their home near Baberton to head to a popular city centre restaurant last Saturday.

Taylor Swift's security guard, who went viral for how well he protected the singer during her "Eras" tour, is back home in Israel ... joining the army in the fight against Hamas terrorists.
The singer's bodyguard flew back to the Middle East amid the deadly fight, according to Eran Swissa of news outlet Israel Hayom -- who said the unnamed guard claimed he "couldn't stand by while families were slaughtered and burned alive in their homes." He urges others to not "stand by and do nothing. Don't be on the wrong side of history." He also put Hamas aggressors on blast, saying,

You may remember Ta Nehisi Coates as America’s most prominent literary racist until Ibram X. Kendi came around.
He’s the guy who got a ton of awards for writing in “Between the World and Me” that the police officers and firefighters who died on September 11 “were not human to me. Black, white, or whatever, they were menaces of nature; they were the fire, the comet, the storm, which could — with no justification — shatter my body.”
Now he’s taking that moral triumph and signing on to a letter, alongside Richard Ford, Molly Crabapple, China Miéville and a whole bunch of writers you don’t know, attacking Israel for bombing Hamas.

New York's state government rejected requests from a group of offshore wind energy developers who asked to renegotiate existing contracts amid rising prices and inflation.
The New York State Public Service Commission (NYSPSC), the state's main regulator that oversees electric, gas and water utilities, issued the decision late last week, saying it would "preserve the robust competitive bidding process that provides critically needed renewable energy resources to New York." The energy developers had requested billions of dollars in additional taxpayer funding for four proposed offshore wind projects and 86 onshore green energy projects.
"The requested amendments to the contracts would have provided adjustments outside the competitive procurement process;

When Joe Biden left the vice presidency in 2017, he took with him several boxes of documents that contained classified documents. At no point did Biden have the authority to declassify the documents, and the seriousness of the situation was made worse by the apparent cover-up by the White House. Originally, we were told the documents were found in early November 2022, before the midterms, but we didn’t learn about them until after the new year. Last week, we learned that the White House appeared to know about the classified documents at the Penn Biden Center as early as March 2021. Now the House Oversight Committee has new concerns

It's entirely understandable that most Westerners believe the current 2023 attack by Hamas on Israel is simply lust for revenge and anger over Gaza’s conditions. But, wait! Instead, it's astounding to know the ultimate impulse in Iran funding Hamas is to usher in the age of the Mahdi, as their mighty savior. This war to utterly destroy Israel is now led by Iran’s Shia Islam and seeks to bring the End of Days. So,Biden’s gift of $6 billion to Iran guaranteed war would result, given their theology. See below…

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) While watching the various responses to the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, it’s galling to see so many educated Americans throw in with the “Pity the poor Palestinians” crowd. We spent some time last week examining the elected American officials who should know better but continue to be apologists for the dregs of humanity. Again, it shouldn’t be difficult to say that evil is, you know, evil.
We shouldn’t have to repeat that, but the world is off its meds.
To most of us, the terrorists don’t do much to sell themselves as anything but savages. They do a very effective job,

Once again, former CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley politely offered President Joe Biden a helpful platform to pretend he's taking the tough questions. A year ago, Pelley promoted Biden on more domestic concerns, while this was entirely about the Israel-Hamas war. The worst question was Pelley suggesting "hard-right Republicans" are making the world more dangerous with their failure to elect a new Speaker. (X) PELLEY: The president is asking for billions of dollars for Israel and Ukraine. But Congress is paralyzed. Hard-right Republicans are obstructing the election of a speaker of the house.
[To Biden]: Does the dysfunction that we've seen in Congress increase the danger in the world?

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made a stop in Beirut on his tour of the Middle East and promptly raised the temperature in the region, threatening to unleash Hezbollah on Israel if the IDF carries out its threatened ground assault on Gaza. Amir-Abdollahian said he met Friday with Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and discussed various scenarios that could take place. “I know about the scenarios that Hezbollah has put in place,” Amir-Abdollahian said. “Any step the resistance (Hezbollah) will take will cause a huge earthquake in the Zionist entity.”
“I want to warn the war criminals and those who support this entity before it’s too late to stop
