The patterns of the anti-Semitic/Marxist/”Palestinian”/LGBTQ/BLM/hate-filled alliance are nothing if not predictable. After expressing shock and dismay that their Palestinian friends in Gaza specifically targeted civilians, in under a week, they have quickly shifted back to their repeated old rhetoric. They are now blaming Israel for the horrific attacks from Hamas, calling Israel’s counter-attacks on Hamas a “terrorist siege,” blitzing the media with images of wounded from Gaza, and attacking Israel in all ways as an ‘apartheid state’ and, as Ocasio Cortez defined Israel, a nation devoted to “ethnic cleansing”. We cannot let them try to control the narrative with their blatant lies.
The best way to dismiss falsities is to educate.

Iran is NOT called 'the Muslim State'.
Israel is 80% Jewish and 20% Muslim.
Why is Israel called 'the Jewish State'?
By referring to Israel as the Jewish State results in Jews around the world being hated because people may hate Israel.

The Palestinians are found in East Palestine, Ohio. So what should we call the murdering maniacs found in Gaza? Towel Heads is too general and includes lots of groups not guilty. The Gaza Goons? Not everyone in Gaza is into murder. I'll stick with Hammies.

Always thought the words Palestine and Palestinians were a play on the word Philistine. Not that it matters. They were conquered by the Jews millenia ago. Also, the land has changed hands a hundred times throughout history. Only thing that matters is who controls the land today, and that is Israel. Seriously doubt the people fighting Israel have one drop of Philistine blood in them. What is amazing is how many people have been sucked into this conflict. Guess there is lots of money to be had on both sides. The conflict seems endless so there will always be people milking it. Don't get sucked in too much or you will find the conflict in your country too.

The area has been called Palestine twice - under Roman rule and under British rule. There has never been a Palestine ruled by "Palestinians"
The best known PLO leader, Yasser Arafat, was born Egyptian.

The rabbi is correct, in toto. The situation in Israel is so horrible that I'm resorting to deflection to maintain an even keel. Caddyshack comes to mind. Playing in a thunderstorm, the Bishop had just missed a straight in putt for course record on the 18th green, got struck by lightning, survived, and was not pleased. There is no Palestine. Never was, never will be.
Judge Smails: You're drinking too much, Your Excellency.
Bishop: Excellency, fiddlesticks! My name's Fred and I'm a man, same as you.
Judge Smails: You're not a man, you're a bishop, for God's sakes.
Bishop: There is no God....

Absolutely true.
Show me some ancient Palestinian money.
Who were the great kings of ancient Palestine?
Show me some old scrolls or tablets written in the Palestinian language.
None of these have answers because Palestine was the new Roman name for Israel after they defeated the ancient Israelis. After the Ottoman Empire was dissolved, there were no Palestinians, only Jews and Arabs.
In Roman times Israelis were the "Palestinians", meaning the inhabitants of the Roman province of Palestine.
These are just barbarians looking for money and to murder 'for Allah'.

While the author is correct, the bad news is that official U.S. policy is now being driven by anti-Americans within our own government, a situation many Americans criticized Israel for for decades. Being a democracy within a sea of theocratic muslims ain't exactly easy. Does anyone think that Biden will read the tea leaves and close our intentionally open southern border? He's apparently on a mission to import the dregs of civilization into our society, in huge numbers, primarily fighting aged men who have less than nothing in common with American citizens. They'll cut out your heart, even as you try to transform them by bribery into good little socialist democrats.

The regions name of Palestine has been around since the time of Heroditus. He referred to it as Palaistine in the 400s BC. The Romans named this province of their empire Syria Palaestina around the 2nd century AD. Just from the standpoint of geography and governance the regional name has been around for a very long time regardless of whether or not a particular people was attached to it. I would assume prior to the British Mandate the people of the region would have been part of whatever empire/kingdom had conquered and ruled the region.
As a history nerd myself I have to ask, did anyone else raise an eyebrow that the illuminated Arch of Titus was the symbol Romans chose to show solidarity with Israel? It was created to celebrate the destruction of Jerusalem as well as the deification of Titus brother of Emperor Domitian in AD 81 as one of the commanders of that military campaign. The plundering of the Temple of Herod is one of the scenes displayed on the Arch.

Goliath was a Philistine, from Gaza. A giant, that had been raised to be a warrior since a child.
David was from Bethlehem, in Judea, an Israelite...a mere shepherd boy, a commoner, not a day of training, not a warrior.
David slew him..Gaza was defeated, slaughtered, and raised to mere rubble.
David went on to become the THIRD king of the United Kingdom of Israel, and made Jerusalem it's capital.

Rabbi Barclay is spot on, on two counts:
1. There is no historical "Palestine" or "Palestinians."
2. They are exploiting the same identity nonsense that the LGTBQXYZ crowd is exploiting.
IOW, just because they say so does not make it so.
Never has, never will.

As I recall, when the surrounding muslim states went to war against what the British had designated as Israel in 1948, Arabs living in Israel told by the attackers that they should leave Israel to get out of the way. They were notified that if they left they would not be allowed to come back. Those who stayed are now Arab citizens of Israel. They can vote and have representation in the Knesset. Those who left had their property confiscated. Many settled down in refugee camps near Israel, waiting for Israel to fall and their property to be restored. They have been waiting and complaining for 75 years. Others migrated and found new lives.

The Muslims (or should that be the Arabs) claim to be descendants of Abraham, namely through his son, ISHMAEL, from his wife's servant girl HAGAR, Ishmael was prophesized even before is birth to become, "a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.” (Genesis 16-12). Obviously passed this trait to all his subsequent discendants even to this day. After all his kinsmen include not only all the other Arabs, but also all the Jews, through his half brother Isaac.Note also the warning given to the Hebrew women by Christ on his way to his crucifiction:
"Luke 23: 27-31 "A great number of the people followed him, and among them were women who were beating their breasts and wailing for him. But Jesus turned to them and said, 'Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children."

"Philistia" is a Greek name, and was an area made up of Greek (Aegean) sea peoples, together with some peoples of Canaanite background. Note that nowhere in that demography is there mention of, "Arabs."
Today the term, "Palestinian," is used by Islamic states to describe the "unworthy Arabs" used as a "wedge issue" to humiliate and "moral equivalence" the Nation of Israel on the world stage. Arabs can politically attack the Israel by claiming, "Jews act 'just like Nazis' against these poor Muslims, who beg for work behind a border-wall with Israel" That would be the "border-wall" Israel had to build in order to keep terrorists from attacking across.
These Gaza Strip pawns are NOT allowed to migrate into Egypt, Jordan, Iran, or ANY Arab nation. Muslim states keep them in 'Gaza hell' to be used as a political wedge against Israel and for a place to hide Hamas terrorists before and after they attack Israel from the south. Coincidentally Hezbollah terrorists hidden in Lebanon and Syria, attack Israel from the north. The worse it becomes in 'Gaza hell' the better the international "optics" against Israel.
Personally, I believe they should, "go Roman," and level every building, home, and hut to the ground, turning it into a "memorial park," with nice walking trails amidst the rubble, to serve as a reminder to all that they must NEVER, EVER mess with Israel, or the Israeli people.

#18, They settled there because their fellow Arab nations did not want them. They have always been a problem and those nations knew it and wanted to keep them away from their people and lands. What they have become and we see it clearly by their recent horrific actions is what they have always been, savages.

Interesting article. FTA: So they hired the public relations firm of Dudley-Anderson-Yutzy in New York (founded in 1909, no longer in business) to change their image in the world. George Anderson told them they needed a “victim,” a group that would be perceived as smaller and even more abused than the Israelis, and the Palestinian cause was born. At Anderson’s advice, the Palestinian Liberation Organization was established on May 28, 1964. This is the start date of the “Palestinian cause”: 1964.
This is the first time I've heard that a NY-based PR firm concocted the "Palestinian cause." I'm curious as to who 'they' were, specifically that reached out to Dudley-Anderson-Yutzy. Was it Arafat? Nasser? Sadat? Yassir Arafat, BTW, was originally an Egyptian officer.
I've also heard that the KGB had a role to play in the creation of the PLO and the narrative.
Either way, modern-day Palestine as a state, as a cause or as a distinctive people are ultimately artificial contructs.

This type of legalistic historical argument is the very thing that keeps the conflict going. There were people living in the region before the modern State of Israel was formed and recognized and before Jews emigrated there from all over the world (particularly Europe after WW2). Whether they are labeled Palestinians or Canaanites or whatever is irrelevant. How to deal with that native population has never been satisfactorily addressed. Two-state solution? Possibly. But that can’t work unless the other state, whatever it may be called, commits to recognize and defend Israel’s right to exist.
I believe a lasting two-state arrangement must be preceded by an unconditional surrender of that native population. The second state may then be set up and its population forced to submit to a government committed to peace and Israel's safety. That government must then enforce the peace by destroying any terrorist remnants internally. The current dictate must be “no cease-fires – only surrender.” There is an obvious blueprint for this.

Reality check. Jordan is the home for the Palestinian Arabs as per the original UN division. Part of Israel was included in the original settlement. Note that before the conquest Jews were not allowed to gather at the temple or their historical sites, since the Israeli's took back the west bank, which was originally part of historical Israel, all three primary monotheistic followers have been relatively free to worship. Note also that the Koran mentions nothing of Jerusalem yet the Muslims built two large mosques on the holiest site of the Jews. The Muslims habits of taking by violence Christian and other cultural sites and converting them to mosques is a historical fact....see Hagia Sophia in addition to the temple mount.

The "Palestinian state" is as phony as the solely American holiday called "Kwanzaa". It's a bunch of man-made horse-hockey created strictly for political reasons. No other nation celebrates "Kwanzaa" but the USA ... and no one who knows history and geography calls these people "Palestinians".
So --- where did all the so-called 2+mm Palestinians come from?
The country that was created from out of that land originally demarcated by Britain set up borders and created the nation they called "Israel". About 3/4ths of the Arabs living there --- at the time --- were told to pack up leave. Not by the Israelis! No ... they were informed that Egypt, Syria, Transjordan and Iraq were going to invade and kill the Jews. Therefore, hurry and get out before the invasion and you get hurt!
So they did ... and they moved into the dessert and waited for the victory that never came. However, they were also told that after the Jews were wiped out they could come back and help themselves to the "Jew's houses and business". They fully expected the Israeli's would all be destroyed and pushed into the sea! As we know, Ben-Gurion, Dayan, Rabin, etc. all had a different idea.
About 20% of the Arabs, amazingly, stayed in this new nation and many fought along side the Jews for their own homes. Ok ... only a few actually fought. But those Arabs that stayed behind became Israeli citizens and are still there!
Those other Arabs, Muslims, etc. that ran away into what is now modern day Jordan became "refugees". Months later they wanted to come back in but Israel closed and fortified their border. Few were let back in. The "refugees" ... and their many descendants ... were not welcome anywhere. So they sat there and cried about being denied entry back into Israel.
They've been crying for 75 years. Ultimately, as this article points out, they started calling themselves "Palestinians".

Doesn't matter. Israel has already lost this war. And badly. Bibi allowed too much time to pass before "solving the problem" while Israel still controlled the worldwide outrage.
Having now waited 11 days (and who knows how many more), many are asserting that obviously there's no rush for Israel to proceed with an invasion. Thus, a total ceasefire and restoration of resources is imminent. The new narrative now is "It's just a few dead Jews." Move along.
