The Queering of America

For most Americans, labels such as “gay,” “non-binary,” and even “members of the LGBTQ+ community” are generally used interchangeably to describe those preferring same sex partners. This imprecision suffices for ordinary conversation, but it fails to capture a key political distinction among today’s homosexuals, namely those embracing the label “queer.” The label “queer” may appear new, but it is decades old. In his 1995 book Saint Foucault: Towards a Gay Hagiography, David Halperin explains: As the very word implies, ‘queer’ does not name some natural kind or refer to some determinate object; it acquires its meaning from its oppositional relation to the norm. Queer is … at odds with the normal,

His wife is fine with it because she is "queer". I can only shake my head and wonder what the heck is going on.

Viral Neo-Communism 1 reply

The virus of globalist neo-communism has spread around the world with massive help from United Nation’s Agenda 21 now morphed into Agenda 2030, its myriad of paid NGOs, Marxist billionaires, the global warming lie turned into the very profitable climate change industry with its “green energy” agenda, and the Great Reset of the World Economic Forum and its affiliates. This type of neo-communism, rebranded as “woke,” is more dangerous than ever as its social engineering goals threaten to control every facet of our lives, and puts in jeopardy the very existence of humanity itself.

WASHINGTON - New data shows there have been over 800 carjackings in D.C. this year – more than double the total number of carjackings reported in 2022. That means the District is averaging almost three carjackings per day since the top of the year. Now, Metropolitan Police are looking for a group involved in one of the most recent armed carjackings in Southeast. Around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, officers were called to the 4200 block of 53rd Street where a man had just been carjacked at gunpoint. Video released by police showed a black Nissan park behind a Jeep Cherokee on 53rd Street. Police say three suspects hopped

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Ever since September 11, 2001, Democrats have insisted that the real problem with Islamic terrorists killing innocent people is that innocent people might take a dim view of Islamic terrorists. How dare we? We’ve had a few discussions in the past couple of weeks about the Democrats’ inability to differentiate good from evil. Several times during the first week after Hamas decided to launch a terror spree by slaughtering a bunch of kids at a music festival, it appeared as if some Democrats might finally be breaking free from the hive mind and its knee-jerk Islamophobia chorus. I suspected that most of them

Having an open border also means having a big target on our backs. Beyond the millions of invaders, a more motivated group might decide to take a shot. And this CBP memo raises some serious questions. A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) memo is warning staff of the risk that foreign terrorist fighters engaged in the Israel-Hamas conflict could soon be attempting to enter the United States via the besieged southern border. In a Friday memo by the agency’s San Diego Field Office’s intelligence unit, obtained by Fox News, the agency warns that individuals “inspired by, or reacting to, the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt travel to or from the area of hostilities

Presidentish Joe Biden has a message of peace and love on Monday in the aftermath of the most deadly attack on Jewish civilians since the Holocaust. It did, however, leave me with one question: did the White House’s Dr. Feelgood get your daily dosage wrong, Mr. President? Before we get to Biden’s latest tone-deaf gaffe that had all the timing and grace of a child’s birthday party clown opening up his act with “The Aristocrats,” let me briefly set the stage for you. Two weeks ago, the Gaza-based Hamas terror organization did something new in the sad annals of human atrocities. Following a barrage of 5,000 or more rockets,

In a statement released Monday, Welch said he has "grave concerns about the wisdom and military efficacy" of an Israeli ground invasion in Gaza and that there is "no doubt" an imminent ground invasion would be "catastrophic for innocent Palestinians in Gaza and jeopardize urgent efforts to save hostages." "Israel has the absolute right to attack Hamas for the brutal, heinous slaughter of more than 1,400 Israelis and the taking of more than 200 hostages,"

Following the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel and the ensuing outbreak of another war in the Middle East, influential people in Washington, D.C., are already calling for the U.S. to take in Palestinian refugees. They couldn’t be more wrong. While the war is still in its early days, it is expected that up to one million Palestinians living in Gaza could soon become refugees. Progressive members of Congress and anti-borders groups are already claiming the U.S. has a responsibility to take in some of these refugees, but fail to mention that importing migrants from an area that glorifies and idolizes terrorists could put the national security of the U.S. at grave risk.

That’s right, among individuals intending to vote for Biden in 2024, 47% think “the government should regulate or restrict the expression of views considered discriminatory or offensive.” Considered “discriminatory or offensive” by whom, exactly? Sadly, the results weren’t a whole lot different for supporters of Donald Trump, 35% of whom purport to believe the government should exercise this control. Fools, all. WASHINGTON — Republicans on Tuesday picked Rep. Tom Emmer as their nominee for House speaker. The nominee now goes to the full House for a vote. It’s three weeks since Republicans ousted Kevin McCarthy. The House speaker will need to accomplish the seemingly impossible job of uniting the GOP majority. Emmer of Minnesota jumped ahead as the top vote-getter on early round ballots and was battling Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana on a fifth ballot. Others are dropping out including Florida newcomer Byron Donalds, who’s aligned with Donald Trump, and Kevin Hern of Oklahoma. The nominee will also need to win a majority in a House floor vote.

Friday afternoon, the Treasury Department reported that, despite a growing economy and low unemployment, the federal deficit shot up by $320 billion in fiscal year 2023. That’s unusual. But what’s really bizarre is why the deficit exploded. According to the report, overall spending actually dropped by 2% compared with 2022 as the COVID-19 spending splurge abated. What drove up the deficit this year was a sudden and completely unexpected 9% drop in tax revenues. Not only did revenues come up hundreds of billions lower than last year, but they were well below what everybody expected them to be.

Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., has dropped out of the race for speaker hours after being named House Republicans’ nominee. Emmer won a majority of the GOP Conference on Tuesday morning after five rounds of voting, against six other potential candidates. But it quickly became clear that he did not have enough support to outright win a House-wide vote. With Republicans’ razor-thin majority, a GOP speaker-designate can only lose four members of their own party to win the gavel without Democratic support. At least 25 Republicans said they would not support Emmer in a House floor vote after he won the title.
