Newly-released documents reportedly found on the bodies of dead Hamas terrorists involved in Saturday’s attack on Israel show that the group intentionally targeted schools, and planned to kill civilians, along with taking hostages.
NBC News reported:
Documents exclusively obtained by NBC News show that Hamas created detailed plans to target elementary schools and a youth center in the Israeli kibbutz of Kfar Sa’ad, to “kill as many people as possible,” seize hostages and quickly move them into the Gaza Strip.
The attack plans, which are labeled “top secret” in Arabic, appear to be orders for two highly trained Hamas units

Israeli bodies were located during a raid on Gaza carried out by forces under the command of the 7th Armoured Brigade, on Friday night.
Reports were received from the forces near the border that there were "discoveries" near the border. The discoveries underwent investigations, which led to the later decision to send in a large force under the command of Lt. Col. Shimon Putrabani. After the brigade surrounded the location, bodies were collected from and transported to Israeli territory. The operation was carried out jointly by infantry and armored units which took out a Hamas cell that fired anti-tank missiles at Israeli territory.
This was the first operation

You hear this all the time from the critics of Israel’s bombing of Gaza as if it is proof that Israel is a cruel bloodthirsty country.
My response: why not? It’s not like Hamas hasn’t been the recipient of billions of dollars in Western aid, no less the blood money they get from their allies in Iran and other outlaw regimes. There is one reason why Gaza citizens are in the line of fire, why they are being subject to bombings, why they will be in the streets during vicious street-to-street fighting shortly, and why their hospitals and schools are getting destroyed: Hamas wants it that way.

A former consultant with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) pleaded guilty on Thursday for leaking tax information about former President Trump and others to news outlets between 2018 and 2020.
According to the Justice Department, Charles Littlejohn, 38, disclosed the tax returns of "thousands of the nation’s wealthiest individuals" to news organizations and tax information associated with a "high-ranking government official" to a second news outlet. Trump is not named in the complaint. He pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of unauthorized disclosure of tax return and return information.

Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, widely seen as the most competitive candidate for the speakership is facing a surprise challenge from Rep. Austin Scott, R-Ga., ahead of an internal closed-door nomination vote by the House Republican conference.
"I have filed to be Speaker of the House. We are in Washington to legislate, and I want to lead a House that functions in the best interest of the American people," Scott said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. After just a handful of GOP lawmakers ousted former speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., chaos has befallen the House

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called Friday on Israel to limit Palestinian civilian deaths as he worked to set up safe areas in the Gaza Strip, seeking to keep calm in the Arab world following a major Hamas attack.
After a solidarity visit to Tel Aviv, Blinken, on a six-nation tour of the Arab world, again defended Israel's right to respond but also stepped up the tone on protecting innocent Palestinians. "We have urged the Israelis to use every possible precaution to avoid harm to civilians," Blinken told a news conference in Qatar.

The Israel Defense Forces tells Fox News that its infantry forces and tanks entered the Gaza Strip Friday to conduct localized raids. Fox News' Trey Yingst reported the military action was not the much-anticipated ground invasion by the Israeli military of the Gaza Strip.
The development comes as the militant group Hezbollah took responsibility for targeting Israeli military posts with small-arms fire along the country's border with Lebanon, which the Israelis responded to with artillery strikes.
More than 1,300 Israelis were killed and thousands more wounded when Hamas launched a surprise terror attack on the Jewish state Saturday. As many as 150 people are believed to have been taken captive

Hundreds of Hollywood actors and executives, from Michael Douglas to Jerry Seinfeld to Gal Gadot, have signed a letter expressly condemning the terrorist attack in Israel at the hands of Hamas.
The letter from the nonprofit Creative Community for Peace included 700 signatures and condemned Hamas for “barbaric acts of terrorism” in Israel that “must be called out by everyone.”
“The nightmare that Israelis have feared for decades became a reality as Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israeli cities and towns,” the message stated.
“Under the cover of thousands of rockets fired indiscriminately into civilian populations, Hamas murdered and kidnapped innocent men, women, and children. They kidnapped and murdered infants and the elderly.

JERUSALEM — Israel’s military on Friday directed the evacuation of northern Gaza, a region that is home to 1.1 million people — about half of the territory’s population — within 24 hours, a U.N. spokesman said.
This could signal an impending ground offensive, though the Israeli military has not yet confirmed such an appeal. On Thursday it said that while it was preparing, a decision has not yet been made.
The order, delivered to the U.N., comes as Israel presses an offensive against Hamas militants. U.N. spokesman Stéphane Dujarric called the order “impossible” without “devastating humanitarian consequences.”

Rudolph Isley, a founding member of the legendary soul group The Isley Brothers, has died at age 84, his family confirmed.
"There are no words to express my feelings and the love I have for my brother," Ronald Isley said in a statement to CBS News. "Our family will miss him. But I know he's in a better place."
A cause of death has not been revealed. Rudolph was an original member of the family musical group that consisted of him and his brothers O'Kelly "Kelly" Isley Jr. and Ronald Isley. The R&B and soul band took off in the late 1950s and continued to make music for over six decades.

For the past seventeen years, the world has condemned the containment of Gaza that followed the rise of Hamas to power in that territory. In just a few days, the world finally learned why containment was necessary for Israel’s security. Hamas’ orgy of annihilation of defenseless civilians, widespread rape of Israeli women (and others caught in their invasion), and hostage-seizing perfectly demonstrated why Gazans needed to be isolated.
And not just by Israel.
For some reason, few bother to acknowledge that Egypt has partnered with Israel on that containment strategy, and for the same reasons. Those reasons are so vital to Cairo that even with an Israeli ground invasion perhaps just hours

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday said the Israeli government showed him photographs and videos of Hamas atrocities, including of a baby riddled with bullets, soldiers beheaded, and young people burned alive in their cars or hideaways.
"It's simply depravity in the worst imaginable way. It almost defies comprehension," Blinken told a news briefing in Tel Aviv, where he traveled after hundreds of Hamas terrorists poured across the barrier fence and rampaged through Israeli towns on Saturday. Blinken said Hamas had no regard for the rule of law or "any basic standard of human decency" and instead target civilians "in the most inhumane ways possible."
