President Joe Biden-appointed U.S. District Judge David Herrera Urias issued a decision Wednesday allowing New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s (D) ban on concealed carry in parks and playgrounds to remain in effect.
On September 13, 2023, Breitbart News reported that Urias granted a temporary injunction against Grisham’s September 8, 2023, ban, which prohibited concealed and open carry in larger New Mexico cities like Albuquerque. The ban applied to licensed concealed carriers, too.

I was in ABQ a week ago, and was armed the whole time. A big middle finger to this bwitch and her unconstitutional, tyrannical decree.

A prerequisite for being a lawyer, let alone a judge, is to know what's in the Constitution and know the Bill of Rights. Don't-cha think?

Congress should pass a law, which the constitution allows them to do, to regulate rogue judges by forcing them to spend one week in the Gaza strip dressed like babies for decisions clearly unconstitutional.

Unconstitutional of course and dangerous to good citizens. Biden is not a legitimate president and anybody appointed by him is likewise canceled. how much armed security does Herrera Urias and Dingbat Michelle have? New Mexico is in the path of Biden's invasion.

Does this apply to non-licensed gun carriers too?

Judge Urias meet Mr. Molotov! Evidently the Ilegal Urias hasn't read the 2nd, or doesn't give a damn and deserves the retribution of EVERY American!

Judges offer "opinions" these days, not "rulings." They NEVER cite legal precedent, or the U.S. Constitution.
In my non-lawyerly opinion, anytime any Judge, anywhere, issues such, "fatwas," from the bench, they SHOULD be ignored, without moral shame. They spew prejudicial bias, which merely draws out the legal process, i.e. "gravy train" for all the lawyers. That sort of Judge should be removed from the Bench and summarily disbarred from the practice of law.
Judges who act like this are one of the reasons why our Founding Fathers believed so strongly in the Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms.

There once was a time when New Mexico was a great place to live. Good jobs, nice people, lots of strong families. The spirit of the old west was alive and well.
Then the communists and Kalifornians moved in and changed the demographics. Now they elect tyrants like this Grisham and restrict the rights of people who have committed no crime. It is no longer a good place.

dims believe that phrase originated in the Constitution

This is what happens when you approve judicial ACTIVISTS to judgeships who have little or no fidelity to the Constitution-- no aptitude for following the bedrock Rule of Law who are only political appointees doing the bidding of an agenda

The 2nd Amendment says "...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" period. I fail to see the list of "exceptions " this judge refers to.

I’m sure that the Hamas and Hezbollah operatives that have been sneaking in to NM the last few months will obey Lujan’s orders and leave the parks and playgrounds alone.

I hesitate to say this but parks and playgrounds may become shooting galleries, now that the law abiding can't be armed.

So the Supreme Court issues one pro-gun ruling after after another. And the Democrats and their commie judges ignore them and the press concurs, then acts like only pro Democrat and communist rulings count or matter.
