RFK Jr. announces independent presidential
run, decries ‘tribal thinking’

Original Article

He’s ditched the Dems. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. officially announced Monday that he would run for president in 2024 as an independent, urging Americans to embrace “freedom from the reflex of having to take sides.” The 69-year-old announced in Philadelphia that he would bow out of the Democratic primary, where polls showed him badly trailing President Biden despite going as high as 20% in some surveys. Launching an independent candidacy, the environmental lawyer and anti-vaccination advocate said, would allow him to pursue an agenda that “puts peace and diplomacy first,” would “close the loopholes that bloat our budget” and “rescue debtors instead of the banks.”

I hope he pulls votes from Dem candidate, not Trump. This seems most likely, but sometimes figuring out people is incredibly difficult.

Remember that Ross Pierot gave the election to the Democrats. I do not like that a life-long Dem is going to run an an Independent. I fear it will pull votes from Trump. Remember also that Democrats will do Anything! to win and rule our lives -- and unless the machines and mail-in voting are curtailed, "at this point, what difference does it make?" (To quote the wicked witch).

RFK wants to get on the debate stage. Trump should refuse any presidential debates. All they would be is a chance for Biden and RFK to get an audience they could never access on their own, and Trump has his rallies, and does not need the debate stage.

Since a lot of people say they don’t want a repeat of Trump V Biden, RFK Jr. might pull votes from both parties.

RFK will take votes from both parties, but will likely hurt Biden more than Trump. That being said, I don't think Biden will be in any shape to run for re-election. Not sure about Trump's future. Hard to take on the DOJ and all the blue states and come out on top.

October 7 was a national nightmare for Israel. The day was marked by a catastrophic terrorist attack that left hundreds of Israelis dead—a shock to the national psyche. This day was Israel’s 9/11, Tet Offensive, and Pearl Harbor rolled up into one. Thanks to assistance and training from Iran, this attack by Hamas, which was several weeks in the making, began with a hellacious rocket barrage that provided cover for a sophisticated land, air, and sea assault along the Gaza border. Around 1,000 terrorists invaded Southern Israel, which led to hours of slaughter, rape, and kidnappings. Hamas took at least 100 Israelis hostage. The images and videos were ghastly.
