Joe Wurzelbacher, otherwise known as ‘Joe The Plumber’ passed away at the age of 49 from pancreatic cancer, a source confirmed to the Daily Caller. Nearly 50 years ago, the Concorde's first, non-stop transatlantic flight was the stuff of science fiction.
The sleek, supersonic, 203-foot tailless bird with a downturned nose scorched across the ocean and cast a shock wave over the water implying the promise of a new age of modern travel.
It seemed like a beginning.
It turned out to be an end.
On September 26, 1973, the Concorde's sprint from Washington D.C. to Paris took three and-a-half hours.
Today's Boeings cover that distance in more than twice that time.
In 1969, four years earlier, American men landed on the Moon in another achievement we can't seem to match these days.

No Tricks Zone publishes a summary of an article by Dr. Klaus-Dieter Döhler, a natural scientist and environmentalist, and Josef Kowatsch, a nature conservationist, that criticizes the global warming industry in Germany. Their criticisms apply equally to that industry in the U.S.
The authors point out that reality has refuted the tricked-up models that are the only basis for global warming hysteria: They write:
The business model “global warming” is mainly corrupt and is run by paid scientists and organizations and is headed by a super rich group of billionaires. Their aim is not to protect the climate, but to generate funds for themselves and their dubious machinations.

General Motors is closing its IT Innovation Center in Chandler, Arizona, cutting 940 jobs.
The closing came as a major shock, ChandlerNews.com reported.
This location will close on Oct. 31, according to KTVK-TV. “Today’s announcement that GM plans to close its Arizona IT Innovation Center came as a complete surprise,” economic development director Micah Miranda said.
“We’ve recently been working with their local team about higher education partnerships, mentoring, and a promotional video highlighting Chandler’s Price Corridor. With this unfortunate news, we plan to work closely with our workforce development partners to assist with employment opportunities for those impacted,” Miranda said.

It comes as Trump's legal calendar runs into the primary election cycle while he remains by far the highest polling and most likely candidate to win the nomination to take on President Joe Biden in 2024.
Habba dismissed the trials as 'theatrics' and told Fox News Sunday host Shannon Bream that the trial dates will be moved because it's 'unrealistic' to expect Trump to be at two different trials in two different states in a short period of time.

Since the onset of their administration, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have stood as champions of leftist causes to erode women’s spaces, expose children to sexual content, and far too many cause irreversible harm to further transgenderism.
Saturday, as Harris gaslighted with snippets from an array of previously delivered word salads, former NCAA swimmer and Independent Women’s Forum advisor Gaines spoke to what the policies Democrats have embraced have actually been doing to women’s rights.

Truthful and comprehensive journalism is at the heart of whether we will continue to devolve, or whether we regain our national footing. By their nature, journalists have a platform with the public, and a tremendous ability to influence it; people believing in and then acting on erroneous information yields destructive consequences. In this way, journalists as a whole advertently support the interests of the Democrat Destroyers; think of the “every man for himself” hysteria stories or the suppression of the efficacy of certain medicinal drugs when COVID first appeared.
Mr. Dooley, the alter ego of humorist Finley Peter Dunne, famously uttered this about the function of journalism:

I often hear people talk about communing with God in nature, and while we have to avoid the trap and temptation to become more devoted to the created things than to the Creator Himself, it’s easy to see how people can become closer to God when they experience His creation.

Over the weekend, the president told reporters that he plans to ask Congress for additional funds to develop a new vaccine, adding that he may force everyone to take it whether they previously received the initial vaccine.

It's not hard to understand why so many Republicans admire Ronald Reagan.
"The Great Communicator" sparked a conservative revival that fractured the remnants of the left-wing New Deal coalition. As president, he helped end the Soviet Union, winning the Cold War.
Forty-three years after the Reagan Revolution, and eight years after former President Donald J. Trump changed the game again, none of the Republicans who convened for the first presidential primary debate on Aug. 23 repudiated President Reagan. Even President Trump cited a move by President Reagan as precedent for his decision to skip the debate.

The Democrats and the media run a constant clown show, but the Republicans play along as useless puppets, willfully participating in a system designed to destroy them. The Republican party is allowing itself to be rigged by playing by the rules of an old system that no longer exists. The Democrats, bureaucracy, and media are vicious apparatchiks. With voting still months away, the most important part of the first Republican presidential debate might have been the dispute between former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
That’s not because either of them left Milwaukee as the likeliest Republican nominee, though both of them saw more buzz associated with their campaigns after Wednesday night. Haley and Ramaswamy occupy opposite poles of the GOP on issues like foreign policy — and how much the party has been permanently reshaped by former President Donald Trump or will revert to its pre-Trump form whenever he passes from the scene.

It wasn't long before the press moved beyond just reporting the facts on the ground and into politicizing the matter, though. As expected, because one nutjob (who police say was not part of a larger group) did something terrible, the press immediately moved to suggest Republicans were at fault. One might ask, "Who is driving this retribution?" The most obvious answer to that question is that it must be a self-absorbed force with a notorious reputation for spiteful exoneration. Judging from past conduct, that force would be none other than former president Barack Obama.

Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips of True the Vote (TTV) believe they have the goods to prove that “Trump was right” about the 2020 election in Georgia. Their work concerning the state’s voter rolls allegedly proves that at the time of Raffenperger’s Nov. 20, 2020 certification, there were, according to Engelbrecht, “364,000 ineligible voter records,” of which approximately 67,000 actually voted in the 2020 election. UncoverDC spent some time this week talking with Engelbrecht about TTV’s investigation of Georgia’s voter rolls.

For several years, news reports have chronicled how tens of thousands of wealthy and middle-class families have been fleeing New York City and state for less expensive and safer destinations.
More recently, news reports have chronicled how more than 100,000 illegal immigrants who crossed the southern border and claimed asylum have come to the city, with 60,000 of them living free of charge in publicly-funded hotels and shelters.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that InfoWars published insider information that alleges the TSA and US Border Patrol will be moving back to 2020-era COVID-19 mandates and restrictions starting in mid-September through mid-October, to include mask mandates on all flights. This is in addition to the confirmed mask-mandate reinstatement at Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA, and Lionsgate Studios in Santa Monica, CA.

The impressions and views gained across multiple platforms for Tucker Carlson’s interview of Donald Trump beat out the previous record for most-viewed interview.

A towering inferno erupted at a south Louisiana oil refinery on Friday morning, sending plumes of black smoke and forcing an emergency evacuation of residents within a two-mile radius. Although no injuries were reported, the incident has reignited concerns about the safety of such facilities, especially as it’s the third fire to hit the plant in less than a year.
The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. at the Marathon Petroleum facility in Garyville, situated about 30 miles northwest of New Orleans, according to WBRZ.

A federal district court ruled Friday that a national sorority organization did not violate its own bylaws by allowing a biological man to live in a sorority house and dismissed the complaint from sorority sisters, according to court documents.
Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) sorority sisters sued the national organization in March for admitting a biological male into the University of Wyoming chapter, alleging that the national organization violated its bylaws and that 6 foot 2 biological male Artemis Langford, who identifies as trans, watched women in the house get undressed.

It may seem like small potatoes at a time of political lawfare, gross government mismanagement leading to at least 1,000 dead in Maui, the prospect of continuing war in Ukraine, and high inflation, but the government’s use of its powers to beset us on a daily basis and make life more expensive, less efficient, and more dreary is evident every day. Two things that come to mind -- and there are, I concede, many more -- are urban bike lanes and administrative fiddling with everything from light bulbs to home appliances.

On Friday’s broadcast of “The Issue Is,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass stated that the issue of retail theft in the city has “nothing to do” with a lack of consequences for crime in the city and “things like this happen” when there are profits.
Bass said, “Well, you know what, things like this happen when there [are] profits to be made, and law enforcement put the task force together that I’m supportive of, and it has a number of different agencies, the city attorney, the district attorney, etc., all at the table. And I will tell you that, just the other day, they made eleven arrests.
