In August 1966, communist leader Mao Zedong commenced “Red August,” a campaign amidst the wider Cultural Revolution to wipe away the “Four Olds” of Chinese society: old ideas, old culture, old customs, and old habits. He infamously used university students, and other younger children, as foot soldiers to carry out mass beatings and destroy important cultural and historical institutions.
The outsized rule of juveniles and young adults in the subsequent massacres perpetrated by the Red Guards was not at all unique. (snip)The American Left has ensured that children occupy an increasingly active role in our country’s political and culture wars. Childhood no longer exists outside the realm of conflicts between adults.

Even if Trump or any other strong R win in 24, it is but a speed bump. They own the next generation already. And they are impatient.

The communist playbook using children is well established. The American Left is not as publicly brutal and vicious as Mao; they know the value of optics for good PR. They began manipulating school children fifty years ago, so we are well along in the process. I remember the first "Earth Day", and a classmate (one of the smart, popular girls) was gushing about how we needed to save the planet and the importance of something called "recycling". I thought she had spent the weekend with some hippie commune! It wasn't too many decades later we were well into the "give child a trophy" phase. How many decades have passed that boys have been "diagnosed" with "attention deficit disorder" and put on a regime of mood altering medications? The majority of both parents work, leaving a very small number available for volunteering at schools during the day and involvement in the PTA that allow oversight on what goes on in the classrooms and administratively. It is no wonder the communist school boards and teacher unions feel empowered to impose the transgender and entire LGBTQ+ agenda upon school children without parental consent. They are confident that parents have no other authority that will back up their antiquated and quaint notions of "parental consent", or have recourse to any other action. We will see how many parents are awake, as opposed to "woke".
Keep praying, patriots. In God We Trust.

Children have zero critical thinking skills and no original thoughts. When very young they repeat what they hear at home. Later they repeat what they hear at school. In college they repeat what they are ordered to repeat. Decades later they may have the life experience to have a valid opinion, but not before.

These mini-Marxist foot soldiers should remember what happened to those on the Childrens' Crusades. Yes, apparently there were two.

Democrats are the party of perpetual children. Emotionally immature, in need of instant gratification, and prone to temper tantrums. Every single one of them has Daddy issues. And they hate those of us who don't.

One major problem for our own young and dumb, Mao told his young and eager devotees to murder unarmed old peasants who had been respectful all their lives in the beauty of their old culture and their willingness to accept authority at any cost. America is populated by stupid, brainwashed kids who will be going up against experienced, heavily armed veterans who love the old America and recognize the filth and corruption that is attempting to take her over. When we decide that way of life is worth fighting for again, watch out. Antifa and BLM faced off with police who were ordered to stand there and take it. Imagine their surprise...

The thing about kids is that they really are ignorant and their brains don't really mature until the about 25 years old. Also, they have a pretty much black-and-white view of the world and believe the statement "that is the way it (whatever they are discussing) OUGHT to be" is a valid plan of action.
They are very easy to brainwash and you can get them to do anything, including sacrifice their own lives and the lives of others.
There is nothing new in any of this. Forget the Communist Chinese. Think about the Children's Crusade in 1212. "The Holy Land OUGHT to be Christian." Then reality hit; it didn't turn out well for the children.

Dumb down the children and turn them against society. It was the template in China. It was their 'cultural revolution'. How many people were murdered in China? It is now the template in the United States.

Well...poster #2...I don't think the younger generation is lost...I have lots of grandchildren that are waking up and questioning Washington DC...they are not stupid...that's why they're in college...well most of them...still a few Bernie babies in the mix....he moved from Brooklyn to Vermont...declared himself a republican...and won the senate seat handedly...then he said he was changing to independent...and then he changed to democrat....so... to make a long sad story short he lied to Vermont and now resides in four houses he bought with a senator's salary...anyone believe that?

Please pardon a second post.
#9 brings up an important distinction between America and Mao's China; our history and culture of independence and freedom. The traitors within our nation have enjoyed almost seventy-five years of a stealthy advance through the institutions by co-opting the power structure within both major political parties, and seeding societal upheavals through likewise captured issue-focused organizations and mainstream media. This kept aware citizens busy, even though their actions were really meaningless, believing they were part of the process and making a difference; the D.C. Kabuki Theater opened its doors.
The Tea Party movement gave them their first big push back and caught them off guard. The people made some early gains and we put the fear of God into them. Although initially knocked on their heels, the Deep State hit back and without the cohesion of a national leader the movement faded away. Then one day a "blue-collar" billionaire rode down an escalator and declared he was running for President of the United States. As improbable as it seems the Man of the People turned out to be a street brawling Manhattanite, by way of Queens, with the bravado that would make Diamond Jim Brady blush. President Donald J. Trump brought America's troops home from foreign wars, started no new adventures and brokered peace throughout the world. He achieved trade deals that produced a booming economy and security for her people. For these "crimes" he was impeached twice, his re-election was stolen and for the "crime" of contesting that election he has now been arrested.
If the Deep State plans to repeat the 2020 "Summer of Love", they may be surprised by citizen reactions as #9 predicts. There may be more Kyle Rittenhouses out there this time around.
Steve Bannon's commentary last night on how our national destiny was tied to George Washington's personal destiny, as well as Lincoln's. Is it tied to Donald Trump's as well?

It needs to be read & the video watched by everyone who loves this country.
I believe in the Providence of God. How it works is known only to God. But, believers pray and trust that God lifts up willing, imperfect human vessels as instruments to stand for right in answer to their prayers in such times as this. We have seen it throughout history. I believe, as Bannon says, that Trump is such a voluntary imperfect human instrument. (He certainly could have returned home to his life. He didn’t have to sacrifice & suffer this.)
I believe that, if we repent & pray & stand for good against this evil, we can save this Constitutional Republic & return it to the righteous precepts & principles of Almighty God on which it was founded. We’ve drifted too far for it to be done quickly or easily, and others will have to follow through just as has been done before, by the grace of God. All things are possible with God.
On a lighter inspiring note that indicates we’re not alone in that belief - : )

Indeed the mob rule we have in our country, particularly in once great cities, is comparable to the Red Guards. Other comparisons are the Taliban and the French, Russian and Chinese revolutions. Frightening.
