The Deep State and righteousness

Original Article

The pages of the Bible are a testament to the downfall of those who plot wicked plans, providing a guidepost for our own battles: "Do the right thing, and risk the consequences." Because, in the end, righteousness prevails. When we were children, bullies would throw sticks and stones and call us names. Today some of those bullies grew up into 'Deep Staters' who brand our truth as conspiracy theories, and their lies as truth. As Isaiah warned, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" -- Isaiah 5:20. Intimidation:

We hope and pray that good prevails, but we also know that in these Last Days things will get very bad. Then the end will come, and the wicked will be burned as stubble and Christ will reign. Can we endure until then?

there is no "righteousness" within the deep state, but the only "righteousness" at all is that which is reserved for those having standing within "The Deep State". leaving the rest of us to be simply a Winston Smith character, laboring away in "the Records Department of the Ministry of Truth" having no discernable value in life and like in every communist society our lives will be planned, lives and ended by the time we are 5 years old

Thank you, Gerald McGlothlin, for writing, & thank you, OP, for posting. Amen. Yes, we look around us and the scope & depth of evil looks almost insurmountable. But, with God’s help & hard work, we have overcome & restored the seemingly insurmountable physical destruction of earthquakes, fires, tornadoes , hurricanes, etc. That same spirit of hard work & determination along with sincere repentance and turning to God in love, hope, prayer, obedience and steadfast faith will provide the refuge, power and strength to overcome and defeat this seemingly insurmountable evil. The history of our beloved America is also a testament to the successes of trusting in God, and our present condition is a testament to the devastation of turning away from Him. If we stand with God, He will stand with us. “If God be for us, who can be against us?” Our work of repentance must be done for our restoration to be successful. “Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.” (Jonah 3:5-9) Our freedom depends on our religion and virtue. On October 20, 1779, the Continental Congress issued a proclamation to the entire nation: Whereas it becomes us humbly to approach the throne of Almighty God, with gratitude and praise for the wonders which his goodness has wrought in conducting our forefathers to this western world; for his protection to them and to their posterity amid difficulties and dangers; for raising us, their children, from deep distress to be numbered among the nations of the earth; …and above all, that he hath diffused the glorious light of the gospel, whereby, through the merits of our gracious Redeemer, we may become the heirs of his eternal glory: therefore, Resolved, That it be recommended to the several states, to appoint Thursday, the 9th of December next, to be a day of public and solemn thanksgiving to Almighty God for his mercies, and of prayer for the continuance of his favor and protection to these United States; …that he would grant to his church the plentiful effusions of divine grace, and pour out his holy spirit on all ministers of the gospel; that he would bless and prosper the means of education, and spread the light of Christian knowledge through the remotest corners of the earth; …that he would in mercy look down upon us, pardon our sins and receive us into his favor, and finally, that he would establish the independence of these United States upon the basis of religion and virtue, and support and protect them in the enjoyment of peace, liberty and safety as long as the sun and moon shall endure, until time shall be no more. Done in Congress, the 20th day of October, one thousand seven hundred and seventy-nine, and in the 4th year of the independence of the United States of America. - Samuel Huntington, President.

King Solomon said, “There is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). The sun rises, and the sun goes down… all streams run to the sea… what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. In his prescience, King Solomon no doubt knew that one of the things that would remain the same was the obdurate persistence––over thousands of years––of maniacal Jew-hatred and a fanatical loathing of Israel. If it weren’t so serious, and deadly, it would be almost comical, considering that the massive, heavily armed, immensely populated, and hugely influential empires that tried to annihilate the Jews—the Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Assyrians,

The radicalism of the far left judges all over the country, but especially in the Federal Court of the District of Columbia, is reaching the point where each succeeding account of a new injunction or a new expession of outrage against the President they despise and whose authority they deny seems to get more and more ludicrous prompting one to say “you just cannot make this stuff up”! It is hard to keep a straight face when liberals whose favorite judges are the very definition of authoritarianism, such as the judge we will discuss here,

The 36 million who watched President Donald Trump's address to Congress also watched as Congressional Black Caucus member, Rep. Al Green, shook his cane and shouted at the president. When he refused to desist, Speaker Mike Johnson ordered him removed from the chamber. Two days later, in a bipartisan vote, the House censured Green. The Congressional Black Caucus stood in firm support of Green's actions and, in their own move to disrupt, CBC members sang "We Shall Overcome," an anthem of the Civil Rights Movement, as Johnson read the censure on the House floor. When they refused to stop disrupting, the Speaker gaveled the session to recess.

Censorship isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it moves in silence, disguised as diplomacy, business deals, or “cultural sensitivity.” It happens in places like China or Iran, until suddenly, it’s standing at your own front door, deciding what you can see, hear, and say. That’s exactly what is happening right now in the United States as the Chinese Communist Party wages an aggressive war, not with tanks or missiles, but with threats, pressure, and censorship, all aimed at silencing a dance performance.I know this because I’ve lived it. I was born in Iran, where history isn’t just rewritten, it’s erased.

It has been seven days of watching the press corps of this country continuing to lose its grip on the national narratives, and flailing as a result. It also makes things slightly difficult this week; deciding which outlets descended to the lowest depths was a bit of a challenge. But one did manage to distinguish itself--with the outlet's inner turmoil made public and many of its names becoming disposable. As I said, there were many, other outlets vying for inclusion. In recent remarks at a recent hearing at the Congressional Iran Human Rights and Democracy Caucus, the Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi observed that “the situation of the Iranian society is explosive” and that Iran’s theocratic dictatorship “has never been so weak and fragile” since it was established in the wake of the 1979 revolution. Even as she offered his assessment to Congress, the White House was in the process of actively implementing a renewed strategy of “maximum pressure” on the Iranian regime, which promises to increase its fragility even further.

It's not quite vacation season yet here in the United States - believe me, when vacation season starts, every Alaskan knows it because of the non-stop stream of rental RVs headed north - but the season is evidently different in other parts of the world. Like, say, North Korea; not a place one would think of as a popular tourist destination. And yet, North Korea, that isolated Stalinist regime run by a stunted little gargoyle with bad hair from a long line of stunted little gargoyles with bad hair, has recently received the first group of tourists since the country was locked down during the COVID-19 panic.

While one cannot blame all of the world’s problems on the former first lady and senator, much of the trouble in Ukraine is related to her actions. Volodymyr Zelensky was once a comedian. One of the hallmarks of great comedians is their ability to read the room. When my high school had a very ugly and contentious merger with its sister school (New Trier East and West), a traveling group from Second City came to perform. One of the comedians was asked about the merger, which had made its way into the local papers.

National Security Advisor Mike Waltz appears on CNN to outline how the U.S. team no longer sees Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a man who can lead his nation to a place of peace. Waltz notes that at a certain point there are going to be negotiations and discussions about Ukraine territory that Zelenskyy is going to need to face with pragmatic honesty. However, at the current state of conflict Zelenskyy is intransigent toward any ceasefire agreement that does not include U.S. troops on the ground as a “security guarantee.”

The Jordanians and Lebanese, for their part, have not forgotten how Palestinians sparked civil wars in their countries in the 70s and 80s. [The Arab countries'] refusal to take in Palestinian prisoners probably arises from the fact that these countries actually do not care about the Palestinians and even consider them an ungrateful people and troublemakers. Many Arabs also seem to have lost faith in the Palestinians' ability to implement reform and end rampant financial and administrative corruption in their governing bodies in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

American liberals are, for the most part, completely unfamiliar with self-awareness and honesty. That's what makes the late New Yorker film critic Pauline Kael's somewhat infamous — and often misquoted — response to Richard Nixon's landslide victory in 1972 all the more stunning. In a speech shortly after the '72 election, Kael said, "I live in a rather special world. I only know one person who voted for Nixon. Where they are, I don't know. They're outside my ken." When I was just a lad, Kael perfectly described what I would begin referring to as the Coastal Media Bubble™ more than half a century later.

The last thing the Palestinians need are more calls from Qatar-based extremist for terrorism and jihad. If these Muslim "scholars" really want to help their Palestinian brothers, they should be calling on Hamas to release all the Israeli hostages they kidnapped, then to disarm, and then to stop pursuing the disastrous path of terrorism and jihad. The "scholars" leading the IUMS live safely in Qatar, not in the Gaza Strip, and they are therefore not directly affected by the war that Hamas launched. That such a call by an influential Islamic group comes from an organization based in Doha illustrates why Qatar c

She was sent to the Yuma station in Arizona and was detained there until her sudden death on March 29.

The Trump administration will be allowed to resume deporting suspected Venezuelan gangbangers under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act after the Supreme Court on Monday lifted a lower court order that blocked the deportations. DC District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg had blocked President Trump from invoking the rarely used wartime law last month, and later extended his temporary restraining order until at least April 12. The Trump administration filed an emergency request with the Supreme Court to review Boasberg’s pause on March 28, after a divided three-judge panel on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a request to lift the stay as litigation plays out.

The resolution declares Judge Boasberg’s conduct a breach of constitutional order, particularly his unlawful meddling in President Trump’s lawful directive
