Ben Shapiro let Disney have it after a legacy media outlet admitted the extent to which the woke company’s flagship streaming program is taking on water. In response to a Wednesday article in The New York Times on Disney+ losing millions of subscribers and deciding to scale back advertising and significantly raise prices, Shapiro came out swinging during the June 10th edition of The Ben Shapiro Show. “Disney is taking it directly in the teeth, The New York Times of course is attributing this to larger market forces, but the reality is that Disney has completely blown out a large segment of its user base,”

Great news. Ask the folks at InBev how much fun it can be.

Get woke, go broke. When you show people who have supported you for decades that they and their family values don't matter, they will give you a well deserved goodbye. So too bad so sad Disney caused their own demise.

Disney is a LGBTQ child groomer. And even after taking a hit they are staying on course, and must have some really lame brained pervs running their show.

I'm in my 70's and remember watching The Mickey Mouse Club and The Wonderful World of Disney as a child. I took my children to Disney movies and enjoyed them as much as the kids did. I still have some DVDs of Disney movies and the older ones are delightful. But after they ruined Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar I tuned them out. They had a devoted fan base and all they had to do was keep making good movies. But noooo!! They had to go woke. I am done with them.

I have some relatives in Florida who have historically bought the yearly pass to Disney for many years. They are now done with the mouse.

Basic Econ says that if your product isn't selling, you lower the price. Raising prices always lowers elastic demands like entertainment. Raising the price just hastens closing. Of course, sooner or later the left destroys everything.

It’s going to get a lot worse. They’re going to loose a lot more subscribers. I got Disney free for a year when I signed up for T Mobil internet for 25 a month, I’m certainly not going to pay for it when the one year trial is over and I suspect a lot of other people won’t either. This offer is structured the same way across all the cell phone carriers.

I'm 67, and all my life "Disney" was THE brand for top-quality decent family entertainment.
Then a few years ago the evil Perverts took it over and hijacked it, eventually openly bragging about "working queerness into every spot I could" as the pervert supervisor proclaimed.
News to Disney: People will not willingly pay money to expose their children to sexual perversion.
But the Evil Ones in charge do not care. They have perverted and ruined another American cultural touchstone, turning it from Good to Evil.
Now the Disney brand is dead, just the body still moving, like the body of a snake after one cuts off the snake's head.

Shapiro sounds optimistic in this article that Disney will dump the woke "loss leader" and recover, but I think the recovery will take a lot longer than he or anyone will admit.
Folks my age (72) and others replying here are NOT in the coveted demographic of advertisers for a simple reason: We are too slow to change our buying habits to make it worth their time. It takes a lot to move us.
So what were the hip not-so-secret-agenda wokesters thinking? That impressionable kids were paying their own way to the theme parks? That the gray-haired escorts whipping out the plastic are just chaperones?
Sorry, idiots, but you burned all us oldsters picking up the tab for the grands and their special vacations, etc., and once burned, oldsters are exceedingly unlikely to revert. Same with Bud Light or other fiascos. The impacts are "lingering" longer than "expected" (An-Busch first thought it would be a dip for a couple of weeks), because once beer drinkers changed years-long habits, there's no reason to go back.
Selling Disney stock when this first broke was one of the best decisions I've made, and I'll raise a toast to their long limp toward the sunset, with my Yuengling. And take your "seven magical creatures" with you.
