Cristina Laila reported Wednesday that 75-year-old Utah man and Trump supporter Craig Robertson was shot and killed early Wednesday morning during an FBI raid.
According to reports, Robertson was facing three counts after posting threats to Joe Biden: Interstate threats, threats against the president, and influencing, impeding and retaliating against federal law enforcement officers by threat. Robertson allegedly threatened to kill Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and officials prosecuting Trump in a series of social media posts.
Now new details including video from the incident have emerged which cast doubt on how much of a threat he actually posed.
A vigilant neighbor shot this 23-second clip in the moments leading up to Robertson’s death.

Disney may as well have just told Dylan Mulvaney to hold ALL its Bud Light and set itself on fire.
In what may go down as the creepiest partnership in marketing history, the Walt Disney Co. has partnered with a biological “gender fluid” adult man to market clothing for little girls.
TikTok influencer Seann Altmann claims “Minnie is ME” as he dons a cutesy dress, a big bow, and bright red lipstick to promote Disney Style, a fashion division of the Walt Disney Co. “I fit right in with Mickey and his friends!”

Mayor Eric Adams issued a dire warning to President Biden, cautioning that the lack of federal funding to help the migrant crisis will eventually “decimate” the Big Apple — which serves as the “economic engine” of the country.
Adams slammed border states for creating a “funnel” to New York on “CBS Mornings” Thursday, saying, “New York City is the economic engine of this entire state and country. If you decimate this city, you’re going to decimate the foundation of what’s happening.” That foundation finally began to crumble earlier this month as dozens of migrants were left sleeping on the streets of Midtown outside the intake center at the Roosevelt Hotel

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.), the embattled senior senator from the Mountain State, says he’s “thinking seriously” about leaving the Democratic Party as he mulls his political future. Mr. Manchin, the former governor of West Virginia, has occupied his seat in the Senate since 2010, when he was elected to fill the vacancy left by the death of Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W. Va.). Even as his state shifted further and further into the arms of the Republican Party, Mr. Manchin held onto his seat by presenting himself as a “conservative Democrat” and a moderate voice among his party as it moved further to the left.

The United States Women’s National Soccer Team is out of the Women’s World Cup. You couldn’t have missed the story, the media was more invested in the team than some team members appeared to be – hyping their every move. But the dream is over, they lost to Sweden on penalty kicks. While the press laments their defeat, a lot of normal people, myself included, are either engaging in schadenfreude over the loss or desperately fighting the urge to. If you fall into the latter category, let it go. Sometimes schadenfreude is warranted and useful to prevent the need for much more of it in the future.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS looked at city payroll records and found between 2020 and 2022, the Minneapolis Police Department had 273 officers leave their jobs.
During that same three-year time period, the city hired 117 new officers, which equates to a net loss of 156 officers and an average net loss of 52 officers over the last three years.
If that trend were to continue, MPD would have fewer than 400 sworn officers. As recent as 2019, MPD had about 900 sworn officers on its payroll.

Former Vice President and current GOP presidential candidate Mike Pence was blasted by conservatives on social media this week over a video at a gas station that showed him appearing to fill up the tank of a pickup truck while criticizing the Biden administration.
"Remember $2 gallon gas? I do," the Indiana Republican said to the camera as he worked the gas pump. "And then Joe Biden became president of the United States and launched his war on energy."
But the video, seen over a million times and meant to promote his energy independence plan, was mocked by many on social media who pointed out a beeping noise

A majority of Republican voters in Iowa believe the pursuit of former President Donald Trump by the FBI. and the Department of Justice smacks of Nazi rule in 1930s Germany, according to a new poll for DailyMail.com.
Some 57 percent of respondents said they agreed with the statement: 'The lawlessness of the persecutions of President Trump and his supporters is reminiscent of Nazi Germany in the 1930s.'
It comes after months of attacks on the F.B.I. and the Department of Justice by Trump and his allies, who say he is the victim of an attempt to end his campaign.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders quietly funneled $200,000 from his campaign's coffers to his wife's nonprofit institute, which appears to do very little work and pays six figures' worth of compensation to her son, Fox News Digital has found.
The independent senator's committee cut two $100,000 checks to the Sanders Institute for reported charitable contributions in January and March, its Federal Election Commission records show. The expenditures are the largest from the Sanders campaign to any entity this election cycle.
The senator's wife, Jane O'Meara Sanders, and stepson, David Driscoll, co-established the Sanders Institute in 2017 to act as a think tank to promote progressive voices, The Washington Post wrote at its launch.

Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday on Newsmax TV’s “The Balance” that he would not sign the Republican National Committee’s pledge to support the GOP nominee to attend the first primary debate on August 23 on Fox News.
Trump said, “I’ve already decided and I’ll be announcing something next week.”
Host Eric Bolling said, “Fox senior executives came and had dinner with you and pitched you. Did they move the needle?” Trump said, “Well they were very nice. Look, they were very nice.”
Bolling said, “The only reason I say this, I put a poll up on Twitter. At least two-thirds of the people don’t want you to do the debate
