A federal judge dismissed former President Donald Trump’s defamation lawsuit against former Elle magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll in a Monday ruling.
Trump countersued Carroll in late June after a grand jury found him liable of defamation and sexual assault against the writer in a separate civil case in May. Carroll publicly claimed Trump raped her in a dressing room at Manhattan’s Bergdorf Goodman department store in the mid-1990’s.
Trump alleged Carroll defamed him by telling CNN she thought in her head, “Oh, yes, he did — oh, yes, he did,”

Of course. Why that cretin, Trump. Of course, there is no recourse when somebody claims you raped them at a time unknown, in a public place, with no witnesses, yada, yada, yada, under a law that was basically an unconstituitional "bill of attainder," passed by the state to allow this defendant to file a lawsuit beyond the statute of limitations.
I'd say we're a banana republic, but that would be insulting to banana republics and their dictators.

Sooo the DAY he was acquitted of "Rape", found "Not Guilty" in a court of Law, by a jury of HER peers(not his), she goes on major media and calls him a "Rapist" and THAT doesn't fit the legal status of Defamation?

All of these cases against our president, Donald J. Trump, will eventually fall as well. If enough patriots are watching ballot boxes and making sure more ‘Fulton Co. Ga.’ episodes are broken up, he’ll be back in the saddle again in 2024!

You need not look any further for evidence of Silverio's ignorance than her use of "grand jury" to describe findings in a civil case. Grand juries' role is limited to criminal cases where they don't make final decisions but determine whether or not to indict a person of interest who then faces criminal charges.

Asymmetric laws, of course. She cannot defame him, no matter what lies she tells, and anything he says at all to protect himself from her lying, like calling her a liar, is "defamation".
Crooked judges in crooked courts running crooked cases.

This woman is a liar and a loon who got her false rape claims from a CSI episode.

The judges presiding over the Trump related cases are just about all Democrats who were nominated by Trump’s political enemies Clinton or Obama. So how would you expect that those judges will rule?

Trump is not a moron. Even he would not march through a woman's clothing shop, into a dressing room, and rape someone. And to think this made it through the court system.

Let me throw out the phrase “with no evidence.”

#9, to my knowledge it did not make it to a court system at the time of the occurrence and that is what bothers me. Why did it take so long for E. Jean Carroll to say something? If she had been raped, did she report it to the department store or scream for help? A court trial gives a person a chance to prove their innocence.

Let me get this straight Judge Kaplan agrees with attorney Kaplan, while overlooking the scant if any evidence in the case. Certainly no conflict there. It's a shame, but; You gotta know, the very last Democrat with a modicum of integrity was Harry Truman.
