There is a “very real possibility” former President Donald Trump could win it all and return to the White House, CNN warned in a Sunday piece, observing the former president is in a “better position to win the general election” now than he was in 2020.
A CNN piece authored by Harry Enten warns the possibility of Trump winning the general election and returning to the White House is “very real,” despite the narrative of critics who surmise that the radical left wants Trump to be the nominee– a narrative wholly rejected by many conservatives, particularly in light of the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) relentlessly targeting

Move over, COVID-19, and say hello to leprosy. Yes, that leprosy, the biblical plague from the Old and New Testaments.
That’s according to the CDC, which says that there is “rising evidence that leprosy has become endemic in the southeastern United States.”
Leprosy, also called Hanson’s Disease, is an infection caused by slow-growing bacteria called Mycobacterium leprae, according to the CDC. “It can affect the nerves, skin, eyes, and lining of the nose (nasal mucosa).” Up to 2 million people worldwide are permanently disabled from the disease, which can be transmitted by “prolonged, close contact with someone with untreated leprosy over many months.” It is thought to be spread via respiratory droplets—

Gas prices have quietly been on the rise over the summer as President Joe Biden and his administration have touted the merits of his “Bidenomics” agenda. U.S. oil prices jumped by nearly 4% last week, and the per-gallon price at the pump hit a national average of $3.75 Monday, the highest recorded average since November 2022, according to AAA and the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Continued increases may pose a new headache for Biden, who is promoting the “Bidenomics” agenda ahead of his 2024 run for reelection. Global oil prices are up 16% since late June, and they have increased

A Georgia judge on Monday rejected former U.S. President Donald Trump's bid to quash an investigation into whether he illegally interfered with the state's 2020 election, just days before criminal charges are expected to be filed.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney denied Trump's request to disqualify the lead prosecutor, block any potential indictments and throw out a special grand jury report that included recommendations on whom to charge. The report has remained sealed under McBurney's orders pending charges in the case, one of many legal troubles Trump faces. Seeking to reboot to his flagging presidential campaign, Florida governor Ron DeSantis unveiled an economic plan on Monday that calls for simplifying the tax code, reining in federal spending, taking on China, and reversing left-wing regulations that make it harder for private companies to create new jobs.
The plan calls for supporting school choice nationally, accelerating the development of vocational and apprenticeship programs to fuel an industrial revival, securing the border, limiting unskilled immigration, and ending ideological investment standards involving public funds.

Three House committees sent a letter to attorney general Merrick Garland on Monday demanding information about Hunter Biden’s plea deal, which was put on hold by a federal judge last week after she declared the terms of the deal were “unusual.”
The younger Biden was charged in June with felony gun possession and two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay taxes in 2017 and 2018. He had been set to agree to a plea deal that included a recommendation of probation for the tax violations. Under the deal, the gun charge would have been dropped and potentially wiped from Biden’s record if he met certain conditions.
However, Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty

Bedminster, New Jersey — Former President Donald Trump praised the Delaware judge who picked apart a plea deal that Trump said was “beyond sweetheart” for President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden last week, while also ripping Biden’s “crime family” as a bunch of “mobsters.”
Trump’s comments came in his latest exclusive on-camera interview with Breitbart News last Thursday evening, where the former president and leading GOP candidate for the presidency sat for nearly an hour and discussed many topics.
“They gave him a traffic ticket for which other people suffered greatly, many other people with the same kind of thing,” Trump said of the deal prosecutors tried to offer Hunter Biden.

A murder in Brooklyn Saturday puts the spotlight on what America has become, and what it is likely to be like in the future. It also once again shows the weakness of the Left’s “intersectionality” coalition of various groups that claim victimhood, the most coveted status in today’s insane society.

It may be entirely possible in Illinois now for a police officer to demand to see your papers for identity compliance even though that police officer may be an illegal alien who broke U.S. law to enter the United States.
Under a bill recently signed by Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker, illegal aliens can now become police officers. The downstream ramifications of this effort are not difficult to imagine.
As if the crisis of confidence in the U.S. legal and law enforcement system was not under enough pressure, the reality of lawbreaking foreign nationals and border crossers now controlling law enforcement is a rather remarkable escalation in social fracture.

There are states where the professional [GOPe] republican grip is tight, and there are states where the MAGA insurgency has gained strength loosening that corporate club grip. Georgia is a state where the party apparatus is gripping the reins tight and not willing to let the populist movement impede their professional political stranglehold.

A truism that came out of the Watergate scandal is that often the coverup is worse than the crime. But that is not the case in the unraveling Bidengate scandal. The alleged crime here is so bad that it is probably the worst ever committed by an American president.
Yet the coverup should be studied, too. It deserves superlatives for its longevity, inventiveness, and sheer audacity. The strategy has been simple: deny, deflect, destroy. Deny the facts. Deflect with distractions, and when all else fails, work tirelessly to destroy Trump, who was among the first to raise questions about the Biden family’s shady dealings.

Does anyone doubt that Biden would then either be forced to resign by Democratic politicos (for reasons in addition to his escalating dementia), or would be impeached and perhaps abdicate Nixon-style?
The presence of the now predictable mediocrity of Kamala Harris and the impossibility, given her race and gender, of removing her, for now is about all that keeps a cognitively declining Biden still in office. The Left fears what she could do as president to the Democratic Party; conservatives are terrified of what she could do to the country.

Former President Donald Trump’s legal woes are affecting his campaign in more ways than one. On the one hand, they have boosted his popularity among members of the conservative base, who see the wave of politically motivated indictments as a brazen attempt to use the legal system to influence the outcome of the upcoming presidential election. However, new reports show that these issues are making a significant dent in his campaign’s war chest.
So far, the political action committee supporting Trump’s bid for the White House has spent a considerable sum of money on legal fees:

Joe Biden hasn’t exactly lived up to his promise to bring “honor and decency to the White House.”
The most recent embarrassment at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was, of course, the cocaine scandal that came to an anti-climactic resolution earlier this month when the Secret Service announced that they were “not able” to “single out a person of interest” due to lack of evidence.
But that explanation only added to the humiliation for Joe Biden – after all, what kind of White House is he running when someone can sneak an illegal narcotic in and not get caught? The incident also raised a number of uncomfortable questions for the president given

The rap on Tim Scott is that he is too nice to be a modern Republican, but that’s wrong – he’s too weak to be a modern Republican. The man consistently defaults to submission to the woke left, but the times call for a warrior and his brand is soft surrender. Yeah, it would be nice to live in an era where we have the luxury of a president who dodged the draft in the culture wars, but we do not live in that time. Tim Scott needs to stay right where he is, an affable but unaccomplished senator firmly within the tradition of the political puffballs that South Carolina’s

As President Joe Biden and his Cabinet fan out across the country touting his economic record, major features of "Bidenomics" would not be possible if not for Republican support in Congress for a $1 trillion dollar infrastructure measure and a U.S. semiconductor production bill.
While the Biden administration attempts to frame his economic record as a “middle-out” and “bottom-up” approach to the economy, in contrast to Republican’s economic philosophy, the most popular parts of the president's package of policies were negotiated and ultimately passed with Republican support.

I got my start in journalism writing for the scrappy local community newspapers in San Francisco (The North Mission News/New Mission News), so I have a soft spot for these papers, given their capacity to ask questions the big papers never ask, not take activists' self-interested statements for answers, and report in minute detail what the mainstream papers never notice, or more likely, have too many conflicts of interest to "notice."
Not these papers. The greatest of them is the Marina Times, and this week they have not disappointed.

Mark Zuckerberg’s hundreds of millions of tax-deductible “Zuckbucks” that boosted turnout in heavily Democrat areas in 2020 made him my enemy. I feel no shame at reveling in his mounting misfortunes in business, even as Meta, his rebranded name for Facebook, remains robustly profitable. Actually, that profitability, the result of Facebook and Google utterly dominating the online advertising business, and this depriving AT and every other conservative website of the ad dollars we need to stay alive (while keeping a lid on the viral distribution we need), is yet another reason to hate him, come to think of it.

Sen. Ted Cruz took aim Thursday at a Supreme Court precedent that empowers the administrative state at the expense of the people’s will and the Framers’ vision in the Constitution.
This Supreme Court doctrine has “played an enormous role in the expansion of the administrative state,” Cruz, a Texas Republican, told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Thursday. “It has resulted in the American people being subject to the tyranny of the bureaucracy, over which they have very little control or ability to demand accountability.”
Cruz referred to “Chevron deference,” the doctrine that whenever a law is ambiguous, a federal agency has the authority to interpret the scope

Update:
The New York Post's Miranda Devine tweeted out an update on early Monday morning, in the form of a letter from the Southern District of New York (SDNY) making clear that they don't expect Archer to surrender before his Monday testimony before the House Oversight Committee. Writing to U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams noted that "[t]o be clear, the Government does not request (and has never requested) that the defendant surrender before his Congressional testimony." The letter also added that the process involved "can take several weeks or months after the Court sets a surrender date."

I really don’t like the President of the United States. Joe Biden has spent his life working tirelessly toward one thing more than anything else: to convince people he is a good man. He is not and never has been, as evidenced by how it took four years and political pressure from New York Times columnists to acknowledge the existence of one of his grandchildren. Now that people are beginning to notice and ask questions about things like how he got so rich, Joe has defaulted to the only defense left for him: He’s not corrupt, he’s just a horrible parent and brother.

Rand Paul has submitted an 'official criminal referral' to the Department of Justice in regards to the nation's former top doctor, Dr. Anthony Fauci, over testimony he gave about the coronavirus and whether it came from a Chinese lab.
Senator Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, claims Dr Fauci, 82, committed perjury when he testified in front of a Senate committee in 2021. Perjury is a federal offense that carries up to five years in prison.
Paul has now written to Attorney General Merrick Garland calling for an investigation into whether Fauci lied under oath over his knowledge of dangerous virus research that was taking place at the Wuhan lab, in China.

When House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) suggested that mounting questions concerning the fishy financial history of President Biden and his family may lead to an impeachment inquiry, some Republicans got the vapors. Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), for example, said it would send the “wrong message.” Reps. David Joyce (R-Ohio) and Tom Cole (R-Okla.) voiced similarly craven qualms. An inquiry may well uncover evidence supporting claims made in an FBI document, recently released by Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), that Biden accepted bribes while Vice President. If so, it is the duty of House Republicans to impeach him.

Last week, Barack Obama’s private chef, Tafari Campbell, fell off his paddle board and sank below the surface of Edgartown Great Pond. His drowned body was recovered on Monday morning in the water off the former president’s Martha’s Vineyard estate. Currently, there’s no foul play suspected, and it’s worth noting that Campbell was not wearing a lifejacket. However, certain peculiarities have presented themselves, causing some people to raise questions. For example, the reason for the 911 call that prompted the search was left blank in official logs. The person Campbell was with at the time of the accident remains unidentified, and the police have refused to disclose the person’s name.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) has reportedly thrown hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars at a medical company, tasked previously with testing for COVID-19, to bus border crossers and illegal aliens out of the sanctuary city.
Since the spring of last year, more than 90,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in New York City. Adams has long criticized Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) for busing migrants to the sanctuary city, but recent reports reveal he has started a nearly identical busing program.
A report from the New York Times details how a medical company called DocGo was awarded more than $400 million in local taxpayer dollars
