The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) informed a federal judge late Wednesday it did “not intend to proceed” with a campaign finance charge against disgraced FTX founder and Democrat super donor Sam Bankman-Fried.
Consultation with the Bahamas on the campaign finance charges in Bankman-Fried’s original extradition document last year were behind the decision as part of an effort to adhere to the legal obligations therein, Forbes reports.
The campaign finance violation charge was among eight counts present in the DOJ’s original indictment—which also includes wire fraud, securities fraud and money laundering—in December.

First Lady Jill Biden’s ex-husband claimed on Wednesday that members of the “Biden crime family” threatened him after their divorce, arguing that they were now targeting former President Donald Trump in the same fashion.
Bill Stevenson married Jill Biden in 1970 — their divorce was finalized in 1975 — and he told Newsmax host Greg Kelly that Frankie Biden had been the one to approach him after the divorce, apparently threatening him over a piece of property that Jill wanted to retain.

Earlier today Senator Rand Paul went on with Maria Bartiromo on FOX Business Network.
Senator Paul does not support impeachment for Joe Biden at this point. He wants to see more evidence. And, being such an upstanding American citizen, Paul does not believe every president should be impeached. He leave that to Democrats. Later on Thursday morning Senator John Thune joined Stuart Varney and also pushed back against impeachment. Senator Thune and Senator Paul need to see more evidence before they support impeaching Joe Biden. They are upstanding citizens.

Here at PJ Media, I have previously documented the obvious state of unfitness of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who is 90 years old and clearly suffering from cognitive decline. Now we have this nearly unbelievable spectacle.
Via CNN:
Sen. Dianne Feinstein had to be corrected and told to vote during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on Thursday…
During Thursday’s hearing, Feinstein was meant to cast her vote on the Defense Appropriations bill, requiring her to say “Aye” or “Nay,” when her name was called. When she didn’t answer, Democratic Sen. Patty Murray of Washington state tried to prompt her.
“Say aye,” she said, repeating herself three times to Feinstein.

The vast majority—82 percent—of the more than $44 million raised from individual contributions by the former president's campaign since the start of the year came from people donating $200 or less, Axios reported, citing data from the Federal Election Commission.
In comparison, just 17 percent of the money the DeSantis campaign has bought in during the same period came from small-dollar donors. The vast majority—71 percent—has come from individuals donating $2,000 or more.

Health care for some should not involve paying for the death of others.
Despite the Dobbs v. Jackson ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, many pro-abortion advocates still claim that “abortion is health care.” This erroneous phrase misses the mark when it comes to what health care truly is.
When doctors take their oath to “do no harm,” there is an inherent understanding that human life is sacred and therefore not something easily given up or taken away. To take an innocent life -- for whatever reason -- does not constitute health care.

The race is on to prevent the sinking of a cargo ship off the Dutch coast which is carrying almost 3,000 vehicles, including 350 Mercedes-Benz, as it burns out of control with an electric car believed to be behind the deadly fire. At least one crew member died and others were injured after fire ripped through the Fremantle Highway, a 18,500-ton car-carrying vessel. Rescue helicopters and boats evacuated 23 crew members from the Panamanian-registered ship. Officials have said there are 'many' wounded. Some suffered broken bones, burns and breathing problems and were taken to hospitals in the northern Netherlands

SUNBURY, Ohio - A priest in the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio had strong words for the “extreme” and “radical” ACLU-drafted ballot initiative to enshrine abortion as a “right” in the state constitution, calling on pro-life advocates to pray, fast, and vote to defeat the proposal at the ballot box. “You may be aware that radical, out of state pro-abortion groups are trying to change our constitution in Ohio…” said Father Daniel Dury, pastor of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Sunbury, Ohio, said in a video posted to social media Monday.(Snip)“This is extreme, it’s radical, we have to defeat it, period,” Fr. Dury said.
