Martha’s Vineyard law enforcement appears to have left a significant void in the details surrounding the tragic drowning of Obama’s private chef, Tafari Campbell.
The call log of the 911 distress call, received on the night of the accident, conspicuously omits the reason for the call, Daily Mail reported. Tafari Campbell, 45, met his tragic end while paddle boarding on Great Edgartown Pond, Martha’s Vineyard, on Sunday night. He was reportedly not alone, but local police have yet to disclose the other person’s identity.

On Thursday, CNN hosts Poppy Harlow and Boris Sanchez blamed climate change for the recent surge in gas prices with the former saying that the surge in prices is a reason “to get it in check when it comes to climate change.”
On “CNN This Morning,” CNN Chief Business Correspondent Christine Romans stated, “There [are] a couple of things happening here: They’re still well below last year. Last year, at this time, we were hitting record highs, right? $4.30, last year, at this time, today, they’re $3.71. They’ve been jumping overnight. Some of these jumps have been pretty big.

Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. United Nations chief Antonio Guterres on Thursday night rolled out some of his most apocalyptic climate rhetoric to date declaring “the era of global warming has ended, the era of global boiling has arrived.”
He went on to lament how “terrifying” it is seeing children “swept away by monsoon rains, families running from the flames, workers collapsing in scorching heat.”
The veteran Portuguese socialist painted his picture of a world in peril during a streamed speech from U.N. headquarters in New York, returning once more to a theme of climate doom he has used almost without respite since he took office.

Washington- Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell has repeatedly said he is “fine” since he froze up midsentence during a press conference on Wednesday. And now his office is trying to tamp down speculation that he might not fill out his term as leader because of his health.
In a statement, his office said McConnell appreciates the continued support of his colleagues and “plans to serve his full term in the job they overwhelmingly elected him to do.”
The statement, first reported by Politico, comes after McConnell, 81, has suffered health problems in recent months. At his weekly press conference, he froze and stared vacantly for about 20 seconds before

Joe Biden will retreat to his Rehoboth Beach compound in Delaware for the next 10 days while his corrupt DOJ works to jail Trump.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters about feeble Joe’s plans to hide in Rehoboth Beach during a gaggle aboard Air Force One on Friday.
“This evening the president will depart Maine en route to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware where he will remain over the next week,” Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters.
Biden is en route to Auburn, Maine to discuss how ‘Bidenomics’ is driving a manufacturing boom (try not to laugh).

Joe Biden on Friday delivered remarks at Auburn Manufacturing Inc in Auburn, Maine.
Biden absurdly claimed, “Wages are up after being adjusted for inflation.”
Real wages are down 3% since Joe Biden was installed in January 2021.
He also claimed he cut the national debt by $1.7 trillion. This is a brazen lie.
Biden cracked a joke about an impeachment inquiry being floated by Speaker McCarthy and House Republicans.“Republicans may have to find something else to criticize me for now that inflation is coming down. Maybe they’ll decide to impeach me because it is coming down. I don’t know. I love that one, uh, anyway, that’s another story…” Biden said.

Hunter Biden continues to be a "good standing" member of the Washington, D.C. Bar despite facing multiple criminal charges and violating the organization's rules of professional conduct. (snip) According to the D.C. Bar website, Biden remains a member in "good standing," despite the rules of professional conduct stating that it is misconduct for a lawyer to "commit a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer in other respects." The rules also explain that "many kinds of illegal conduct reflect adversely on fitness to practice law, such as offenses involving fraud and the offense of willful failure to file an income tax return."

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Friday the Department of Homeland Security denied his request for Secret Service protection.
“Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request.”
Kennedy also included a quote from DHS Secretary Mayorkas: "I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time."

It appears the battle over Florida’s black history curriculum has entered into a new phase. A fiery debate was ignited over parts of the state’s educational standards on chattel slavery. Now, the discussion has continued to rage on the airwaves and interwebs.
The debate centers on a line in Florida’s standards which reads: “Instruction includes how slaves developed skills which, in some cases, could be applied for their personal benefit.”
Democrats in Congress are now taking a questionable step in response to Florida’s curriculum. The Congressional Black Caucus is now calling on the Biden administration to use federal power to possibly compel the state’s government to alter its standards:

The laundry list of “rights” according to Democrats is longer than Jeffrey Epstein’s client list. During a July 27 House hearing, Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen (TN) rambled about transgender males’ supposed “right” to use female locker rooms—and suggested those locker rooms should just have barriers if women are uncomfortable.
”Transgender people have been around for a long time and they have rights and these need to be respected,” Cohen pontificated. The Daily Caller reported that he was reacting to testimony from Paula Scanlan. [Tweet] Scanlan is a former University of Pennsylvania swimmer and a sexual assault survivor. Scanlan testified to her scarring experience as a teammate of “Lia” (William) Thomas,

US President Joe Biden on Friday publicly acknowledged his seventh grandchild for the first time — a four-year-old girl his son Hunter fathered with an Arkansas woman — after Republican criticism of his failure to recognize her.
“This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter,” the president said in a statement to People magazine about the girl, Navy Joan Roberts.“Our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward.”

Former President Donald Trump on Friday raised the specter of campaigning from a jail cell as he insisted he had done nothing wrong a day after further evidence emerged of a cover-up at Mar-a-Lago where he is accused of keeping classified documents.
A new indictment broadens the charges against him and alleges that he ordered security video to be wiped.
Conservative radio host John Fredericks asked him whether his campaign would end if he was convicted and sentenced.
