Sam Bankman-Fried is still the Left’s golden boy. On the same day that UFO coverage and the Hunter Biden plea deal collapse captured the attention of the media, the destroyed and disgraced crypto billionaire convinced Southern District of New York prosecutors to drop a huge charge against him. Democrats to whom the accused Ponzi schemer shoveled millions during the 2022 election cycle were the biggest winners. Before it imploded, the billion-dollar crypto exchange FTX was a triple threat. On one hand, the Adderral-fueled Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) and his band of sexually promiscuous mates manically shook down Hollywood and other glitterati from their Bahamas base to keep the alleged grift going.

I took a pretty liberal girl on a date to see William F. Buckley back in college, which would probably scandalize the current senior staff of his National Review, but I bet it would have made WFB smile. Buckley was also a graduate of the Army's former Ft. Benning School for Boys, but since his death, the Officer Candidate School has become Ft. Moore School for Boys, Girls, and Non-Binary Two-Spirits. This change for the worse is emblematic of how NR's conservatism has failed to conserve much of anything. In Buckley's absence, NR has tried to stand athwart history yelling, "Stop," and instead, the left just gave it a wedgie

Speaking to Fox News on Wednesday about Hunter Biden’s derailed plea deal, George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika raised an issue the White House “most fears.” As Axios reported, the contentious hearing included two recesses, one of which came after the judge questioned “whether the diversionary agreement shielded Hunter Biden from future prosecution under other laws including the Foreign Agent Registration Act.”

After much discussion and back-and-forth, a federal judge has declined to accept Hunter Biden’s sweetheart plea deal. The deal would have allowed Biden to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax evasion charges and would have disposed of a felony gun charge. The president’s son was expected to get off with a couple of years of probation and a promise not to drink or go drugs, and to enter a diversion program to make the gun charges go away.

Hunter Biden entered a federal courtroom in Delaware Wednesday morning with the expectation of pleading guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax charges after being given a sweetheart plea deal by prosecutors in June."The court papers indicate the younger Biden has tentatively agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges of failure to pay in 2017 and 2018. The combined tax liability is roughly $1.2 million over those years, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe details of the agreement that are not yet public. Prosecutors plan to recommend a sentence of probation for those counts

In the third FOX News town hall of the 2024 election season (the first two were with President Trump), Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. appeared for an hour Tuesday night on Sean Hannity’s prime time program Hannity. The setting was a sizable venue in New York City with a large audience. The program was recorded earlier Tuesday for showing at 9 PM ET with a replay five hours later. A FOX News online report on the town hall with a video clip is here.
Hannity’s questions largely avoided areas where there might have been potential disagreements. This has been Hannity’s style in the channel’s town halls

You’d have to live under a rock to not have seen videos of these “Just Stop Oil” lunatics throughout Europe being confronted as they block traffic with their asinine signs and stupid attitudes. Normal people have had enough of these idiots. It’s one thing to march in front of some company’s headquarters because you don’t like what they do, it’s another to physically prevent other human beings from simply going about their business. That the authorities in these largely left-wing cities have allowed these moronic mutants to get away with their antics

Some would call this an interesting at coincidence while others may suspect something more.
It turns out that Barack and Michelle Obama were on Martha’s Vineyard at the same time their personal chef drowned under mysterious circumstances.
Obama’s office previously claimed that the former president and his wife were not present at the residence when Tafari drowned. Now they are altering the story to say they were indeed on the property.
The Gateway Pundit reported Monday night that the body of a 45-year-old paddle boarder was found in a pond on Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard mansion.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is learning that, as an enemy of the state, everything he says can and will be held against him. Democrats are learning, however, that RFK Jr., unlike most of their targets, is no punching bag. He can and will punch back.
During a press event at a New York City restaurant a week back, Kennedy introduced the concept of ethnically targeted bioweapons. He began this discussion with the phrase “There is an argument that,” thus distancing himself a bit from the validity of the claim to follow, namely that the People’s Republic of China is developing bioweapons to target Blacks and Caucasians.

Author Peter Schweizer went on with Jesse Watters on Monday night where he proceeded to drop another bomb on the Biden Crime Family.
According to Schweizer, who wrote a best-seller “Secret Empires” on the Biden Family crimes, told Jesse that one of Vlodomyr Zelensky’s top officials was sitting in the room when they were discussing bribing the Bidens, Joe and Hunter.
Ukrainian President Zelensky has a top official who was sitting in on meetings where they talked about bribing the Bidens.
Schweizer suggests Zelensky is using this as leverage over the Biden regime for weapons and billions in US dollars.

It is easy to birth conspiracy theories.
All that is required is chronic government stonewalling of reasonable requests for transparency. Then add in high officials serially lying under oath, along with the blatantly unequal application of the law. Institutionalize arguments from authority of politicians and bureaucrats who refuse to adjudicate arguments empirically.
Include the weaponization of investigatory and intelligence bureaucracies. Finish with the transformation of an obsequious media into a mouthpiece of the state. And presto, you end up with a skeptical, cynical public that learns to believe the very opposite from what it is told by elites.

"Spoiler" Green Party candidate Cornel West was invited onto CNN so that Anderson Cooper could shame him into dropping out so as not to be forever smeared as responsible for Trump's re-election, as Sister Jill Stein is to this day.
Along the way, the issue of endless war came up. West denounced endless war based on lies, invoking the Iraq War disaster that morphed magically overnight from an enforcement operation into a years-long nation-building one, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians in the process, and ultimately replaced a dictator with a maniacal religious fundamentalist caliphate that throws gays off public buildings in public spectacles.
Cooper called the objection "inappropriate"

Oh well back to the drawing board. Maybe humper will get a better deal next time.
