Still More Evidence That Bidenomics Is ‘Working’

Thirteen days after President Joe Biden told the nation that “Bidenomics is working,” the Congressional Budget Office released a report showing just how well it’s working – bankrupting the country far faster than anyone expected. The report looks at spending and revenues for the first nine months of this fiscal year, which started in October. What it reveals is remarkable, both because it shows how reckless the Biden administration has been with spending and how it’s sapped the economy of strength. The topline number is that the federal deficit so far this fiscal year has already topped $1.4 trillion,

Don't expect the Republicans to use this. They are too busy being 'civil'. Don't expect the economy to impact the Democrats. Most of their supporters get free money and don't feel the pinch. Neither do the lefty elites because they have money to burn. I just want all of them sucked into the misery they have created. They deserve it. US federal debt as 32.6 trillion. Total US debt at 101 trillion. It appears to have jumped 10 trillion recently. How do they expect this to continue? How much of this will never be paid back? All our government does is rearrange chairs on the USS Titanic.

And #'s 2 and 3 - our strategic oil stockpile has been depleted. I read it will take years to refill it. And even better, all the tranny 'people' in the military do not have to do basic training and will not have to fight if it comes to that. Enemies of the country couldn't do a better job of destroying us.

America is an amazing place. Where else could a pResident destroy an economy built on fossil fuels by destroying our energy independence and still be the top runner of the democrats for President. Where else could an old man go around stumbling and mumbling, traveling to Europe to pass gas on the Royalty, sniffing little kids, and collecting 10% of his son's criminal funds, and still be the man the Democrats want for another term.

Wait til the package handlers and part-time drivers at UPS strike on Aug 1st. Yahoo Business predicts my company will lose $7 BILLION for a 10-day work stoppage and would be the costliest in the US in a century. Bidenomics (I don't like it and I can't do anything about it. I'm in the aircraft mechanics' local but if the package handlers/ drivers strike both locals are Teamsters so we'd have to honor the picket line)

Blaming ‘Climate Change’ For L.A.
Fires Only Makes Newsom Look Criminally Incompetent

“All these things are connected. This is a challenging time. But we’re up to this challenge.” That was California Gov. Gavin Newsom back in 2020 when he was busy blaming “climate change” for the wildfires that erupted that year. “I quite literally have no patience for climate change deniers,” he said. Four years later, Newsom is again blaming “climate change” for the fires ravaging Los Angeles. But wait. If climate change really is to blame, why was California so obviously, so woefully, so inexcusably unprepared?

Los Angeles is burning and the East Coast and Midwest have been walloped by cold and snow. Naturally, the global warming alarmists screech and honk about human reliance of fossil fuels. It a gross and irresponsible assumption. It never takes long for the foolish to break out and Vermont socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders didn’t disappoint on Wednesday when he tweeted: “80,000 people told to evacuate. Blazes 0% contained. Eight months since the area has seen rain. The scale of damage and loss is unimaginable. Climate change is real, not ‘a hoax.’ Donald Trump must treat this like the existential crisis it is.”

Costco’s board of directors has been winning plenty of praise lately for defending its “diversity, equity, and inclusion” program against a shareholder proposal put forth by a conservative group. It deserves none of it. The proposal, widely – and wrongly – described as a plan to dismantle Costco’s DEI program, says simply this: Resolved: Shareholders request that the Board conduct an evaluation and publish a report, omitting proprietary and privileged information, on the risks of the Company maintaining its current DEI (including ‘People & Communities’) roles, policies and goals. The pundit class described the board’s rejection

Among President Trump’s promises during the 2024 campaign was to “medically discharge” transgender men and women from the U.S. military. But would Americans support such a move? A plurality of voters say no, revealing a deep political split over the issue, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. While no specific proposal has yet actually been put forward, the national online I&I/TIPP Poll asked this question: “News reports suggest President-elect Trump is considering an executive order to discharge all transgender service members and ban future enlistments, potentially affecting 15,000 active personnel. Do you support or oppose this plan?”

On Joe Biden’s first day in office, he signed a raft of executive orders, one of which we said was “almost entirely overlooked but could easily end up having the biggest impact.” Turns out we were right. The executive order – “Modernizing Regulatory Review” – would, we predicted, “unleash the regulatory state with a ferocity never before seen in this country.” With this one executive order, Biden shows that he’s intent on giving regulators carte blanche to impose massive new rules on businesses and households, on virtually anything and everything they do, regardless of costs. There’s little else Biden has done so

As President Joe Biden counts down the days he has left in office, he’s busy trying to burnish his legacy. What he should be doing is apologizing for unleashing waste and fraud of epic proportions. Politico, to its credit, this week reported on where the $1.6 trillion that Biden approved in spending ($1.1 trillion) and tax breaks ($500 billion-plus) for “clean energy” and infrastructure investments went. The good news is that most of it hasn’t been spent. The bad news is that the rest appears to have vanished without a trace.

The New Year had barely begun when one and possibly two terrorist attacks were unleashed that claimed the lives of more than a dozen innocent people. In New Orleans, 15 people have so far died after a driver rammed a truck through a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street Wednesday morning. The driver had an ISIS flag in the rented pickup and likely didn’t act alone. [snip] Is this the beginning of a wave of terror attacks inside the U.S.? There’s reason to worry. For almost four years, the Biden administration has been asleep at the wheel when it comes to terror threats.

Soon-to-be President Donald Trump has talked about getting rid of the U.S. income tax and replacing it with a system of tariffs. He has come under heavy criticism from Democrats and many economists. But average Americans appear to like the idea, with a plurality favoring Trump’s idea, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. The December online I&I/TIPP Poll asked 1,441 adults across the country the following question: “President Trump has talked about replacing the income tax with tariffs (taxes on selected imports). What do a $15 million settlement with ABC News, a Washington, D.C., waitress getting fired, and the Los Angeles Times planning to include a bias meter in its news stories have in common? They are all welcome signs that the nation is embracing normalcy once again – something that Joe Biden was allegedly going to restore after Donald Trump’s supposedly chaotic years. Trump’s first term was chaotic, but not because of what he did so much as the four-year hysteria unleashed by his opponents. Biden, on the other hand, brought true chaos. His unique mixture of incompetence, cluelessness, disdain, arrogance, and sleaziness has been on full display. Consider what Biden managed in a few short weeks. The unprecedented, sweeping pardon of his son Hunter made a mockery of not only his solemn pledge that he’d trust the justice system but managed to infuriate every Democratic leader and media fanboy who’d sung his praises for that pledge.

The buyers however, didn’t want to pay top dollar for a premature baby, so they demanded he be “immediately terminated.” When Pearson refused the abortion, the couple threatened to sue; when she offered to adopt the child, they ordered her to present a death certificate.
