On July 8th, New York Times columnist David French, strained to apply a human face on Trump supporters, but I don't think I am giving him too much credit when I infer a connection to Biden's vicious attack on Pres. Trump and MAGA Republicans of September 1, 2022. The writer summed the Trump years (from 2015 to the present) this way: "Everything is normal until, suddenly, it's not."

When discussing widespread problems in the profession, instead of presenting an actual argument, those who reflexively defend the industry will often mention having friends or relatives who are teachers, as if this anecdotal tidbit is a meaningful response.

Of late, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) have come under fire from nearly all corners of Congress. More than fifteen legislative proposals have been filed on changing the way PBMs operate, while six committees in Congress have convened hearings on the topic. I don’t regularly follow the comedy duo Key & Peele, so I only now caught up with a comedy sketch entitled “Mother Majesty Empowers The Women of Tomorrow,” which premiered roughly ten years ago. It shocked me, not because it’s vulgar (which it is) but because it's prophetic. It shows how the female “empowerment” message from the left is, in fact, deadly for women and benefits only men.
