This past May 1 was a typical day on the New York City subways. Commuters and tourists were transiting beneath the chaos of overhead Manhattan, only to witness New York’s subterranean version of Dante’s Inferno.
Specifically, a homeless man, now euphemistically called an “urban camper” or “displaced person,” was harassing fellow subway passengers. The Guardian went further in their descriptors, calling Neely “a talented dancer” who was “remembered as kind and loving” and even “had a fan club.”
Neely also had a long rap sheet, a fact conveniently overlooked by most media sympathizers.
One of the most vital things for a successful dictatorship is military control. A politically neutral military composed of people loyal to the country, rather than its leadership, represents an ongoing threat to a despot. For centuries, America has had that politically neutral military, but the Biden administration is accelerating a process begun under Obama, which is to weaken military readiness while ensuring that both officers and troops hew to a specific political ideology.
In the first five years of his presidency, Obama fired almost 200 military officers, some of whom felt very strongly that there was an ideological purge taking place.
Secretary of State Tony Blinken traveled to China this past weekend to give the green light to the communist regime to invade Taiwan.
The Biden regime is destroying America from within and surrendering our principles and leadership on the international stage at the same time.
As Steve Bannon says, “Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.”

Nineteen sixty-four was our last Father's Day in Cuba, but no one remembers much about that. We were just lucky that our father was out of a political prison. Many of many friends were not so lucky.

Failed Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton cackled at the fact that she got away with her classified documents scandal while former President Trump faces damning prosecution by her party. When asked about the difference between her scandal and Trump's, Clinton didn't deny the special treatment she received, seemingly amused that she could be compared to the 45th president.
"That's a really good question; I can't figure that one out," the Democrat joked.
One of the chief characteristics of the stereotypical "banana republic" is that, whether or not it has bananas, it is not a republic, but rather a military dictatorship. "El presidente" may speak Spanish, Russian, or Korean. Soon, another language may be added: American English.
One of the core values that has kept us a republic (if we can keep it) is that of civilian control of the military armed forces. Generals and admirals take orders from the commander-in-chief, who is the president of the United States, just as surely as "buck privates" obey orders from the general.
It is shocking to witness the decline of that principle in practice.
The right to counsel for defendants is sacred to our democratic republic. Preventing defendants from obtaining counsel clearly adds to the darkness that the Washington Post endlessly tells us is fatal to democracy. A highly organized group of people is attempting to deny Donald Trump the right to legal counsel of his choosing by organizing an campaign of intimidation of lawyers who might be asked to serve his defense in the criminal matter he now faces. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Bomb Squad, are presently responding to an emergency situation at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The cause of the concern is a suspicious package that was discovered at the airport.
According to reports, around 9:30 p.m. PDT, the package was discovered before the official TSA security checkpoint in Terminal 1.
As a safety measure, parts of Terminal 1 have been evacuated while authorities are on-site investigating the package.
The area around the TSA checkpoint was cleared by airport police. Officers have blocked off the entrance road to the terminal. Due to the blockage, no one can get to their designated pickup locations, CBS News reported.

A man who tried to carjack undercover police officers in Kentucky's largest city was fatally shot by a Louisville Metro Police officer, authorities said.
The shooting happened Monday afternoon as two undercover officers were inside a vehicle and trying to catch a suspect in an unrelated investigation when they were approached by a man in his 20s armed with a gun who attempted to carjack them, Interim Police Chief Jackie Gwinn-Villaroel told news outlets.
One of the officers shot the man with his service weapon and both officers provided medical aid, Gwinn-Villaroel said, but the suspect died from his injuries.

The DNC has changed their primary schedule to make South Carolina the first state that gets to vote, a move that annoyed many of their own voters in New Hampshire and Iowa.
The reasons for this move are fairly obvious. South Carolina is the state that dragged Biden across the finish line in 2020 and the DNC wanted to avoid a situation that could embarrass Biden and the party in 2024.
Democrats in New Hampshire and Iowa could ignore the DNC however, and that would open up the possibility that RFK or another Democrat could best Biden in the first two Democrat primary contests.

The Supreme Court rejected an appeal on Tuesday from a Christian college in Missouri that sued the Biden administration over a requirement to open dorm rooms and shared shower spaces to members of the opposite sex.
The College of the Ozarks asked the justices to block the Department of Housing and Urban Development directive that added "gender identity" to the definition of "sex" in the 1968 Fair Housing Act. "Because the college's faith teaches that sex is based on male-female biology, not gender identity, the college assigns its dorms, roommates, and intimate spaces by sex and communicates that policy to students," the college told the Supreme Court in its appeal.
