Here’s a partial transcript courtesy of TGP:(snip) Blowing up the dam may be bad for Ukraine, but it hurts Russia more. And for precisely that reason, the Ukrainian government has considered destroying it. In December, the Washington Post quoted a Ukrainian general saying his men had fired American made rockets at the dam’s floodgate as a test strike. So really, once the facts start coming in, it becomes much less of a mystery what might have happened to the dam.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said it will take up the European Union’s digital COVID-19 vaccine passport framework as part of a new global network of digital health certificates.
The WHO said in a June 5 statement that it had entered into a “landmark digital health partnership” with the European Commission (EC), the European Union’s executive body.
As part of this new joint venture, Europe’s existing framework of digital vaccine passports will serve as the first building block of a global network of digital health products.
Dubbed the Global Digital Health Certification Network, the new vaccine passport framework has already drawn criticism, with Australian senator Alex Antic

Former Vice President Mike Pence has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to officially declare his candidacy to win the 2024 GOP nomination.
Pence is expected to publicly launch his campaign with a Wednesday rally in Des Moines, Iowa. He is also expected to hold additional events in the state following his campaign announcement, including a CNN town hall at Grand View University. In order to pretend his way onto the GOP debate stage, Pence is putting all of his election eggs into the Iowa basket.

The big news today, of course, is the destruction of the very large Kakhovka Dam, which is located on the major Dnieper river near the Zaporozhiye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). The waters of the dam are critical for cooling functions at the ZNPP, but also for flood control the rest of the way downstream to the Black Sea. There are major population areas downstream that are being evacuated.
(snip) I’ve seen discussion of the likelihood that one side or the other might blow the dam. For the Ukrainians, the idea would be to precipitate a nuclear event at the ZNPP and blame the Russians. For the Russians

Here we go again with the ever-familiar silo defense. The FBI is refusing to hand over the unclassified FD-1023 stating there is an ongoing investigation using the confidential human source who made allegations outlined in the document. Remember, the allegations and the statement record was created in July of 2020, almost three years ago.
Prior to last week, the FBI refused to say the 6-page unclassified document existed. After House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told FBI Director Chris Wray he had already seen the unclassified document via a whistleblower, then Comey admitted the FBI indeed had it. Today, the FBI is refusing to release the document,

After repeatedly failing to overturn Biden administration regulations in existing legislation, House Republicans are taking the next steps in their attempt to exert authority over the administrative state.
Lawmakers discussed a series of bills intended to reach those ends during a June 5 Rules Committee hearing.
“The Constitution articulates where the laws are made. It’s here in Congress,” said Committee Chair Tom Cole (R-Okla.) in his opening remarks.
Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.), by contrast, said the proposals show that the House Republican majority “once again prioritizes right-wing culture wars over the American people.” Right-leaning ideology prioritizes individual liberty over the government intervention preferred by the left.

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Fox News barred content that reflected negatively on vaccines to appease its big-money advertisers in the pharmaceutical industry.
During a June 5 Twitter Spaces interview with the platform’s owner, Elon Musk, Kennedy disclosed that he approached former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes in 2016 about doing a story on the mercury content in vaccines but was shut down.
“He said that any of his hosts who allowed me on TV to talk about this, that he would be forced to fire them,” (snip) said that 75 percent of his advertising revenues for the nightly news shows were at that point coming from pharma.”

Presidential contender Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says that he supports Second Amendment and would not seek a gun confiscation program if elected.
(snip)Kennedy, the nephew of President John F. Kennedy, replied, “I support the Constitution that includes the Second Amendment.”
“I’m not going to take anybody’s guns away,” he said. “I think at this point in history all that would do is to increase this toxic polarization.”
Kennedy said that he grew up in rural areas, and thus understands how “integrated” firearms are into the culture of such people.
“It’s existential for those people who live in those areas,”(snip)
“And it’s part of our Constitution, the Second Amendment as the Supreme Court has interpreted it.”

A former Target executive claimed that there was one item that sparked widespread boycott calls against the big box chain.
Former Target Vice Chairman Gerald Storch said in a Sunday interview with Fox News that a number of retailers, including Target, have sold pro-LGBT merchandise over the past several years and claimed that “everybody carries that stuff.”
(snip)Target appeared to go a step further this year by carrying a “tuck swimsuit” that targets transgender people. In mid-May, conservative commentators made note of the swimsuit and claimed that it was being marketed for children, but Target officials (snip)said that the item was only sold for adults.

I’m going to go into the deep weeds on this story, because many people are missing a key facet. The names behind the Trump targeting operation are included, along with citations for independent checks by House congressional investigators.
Inside the recently released report by John Durham [CITATION],(snip)outlines how former FBI Director James Comey was intimately involved in the creation of the Carter Page FISA application. Durham notes that Comey kept asking the DOJ National Security Division and FBI counterintelligence investigators, “Where’s the FISA, we need the FISA.” However, John Durham never interviewed James Comey or Andrew McCabe. (snip) how did John Durham have details about the demands of

Now you know exactly why Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had to launch without any public appearances in his home state, and run away from the state of Florida immediately thereafter. This doesn’t take any commentary to understand.
President Trump is beating Ron DeSantis in the state that knows the Florida Governor best.
Trump 52.5%, DeSantis 32.6%.
This should be embarrassing for Ron and Jill ‘Casey’ DeSantis, but their hubris will just ignore it.

You may have heard recently that most adults—80%—are not getting boosted with mRNA injections. The CDC is recommending that everyone get shot up, while admitting that duration of supposed “effectiveness” isn’t great:
Most US adults are declining COVID boosters as CDC warns of health risks: 'Relatively little protection'
Hospitalization risk exists as only 20% of US adults receive booster dose: ‘Uptake has been quite low’
The claim, as usual, is that these injections offer protection against the most severe outcomes.
Interestingly, the CDC conducted a self-experiment—unintentionally. I’m guessing they didn’t expect this outcome:

They just don’t get it. They have chosen their favored clientele.
