If Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan decided to be a presidential candidate next year, she would be barred from the debates.
The GOP debate rules include a pledge to support the Republican 2024 presidential nominee and Ms. Noonan makes it clear, from the opening paragraph of her latest weekend column that she would not back a Trump candidacy.
Noonan declares in her lede paragraph that if "Trump Republicans" nominate the former president next year, "they will have ended the Republican Party.' That there be no mistaking her comment as mere figurative remark, she declares in the following paragraph:

Ugh! I had no idea that Booze Soaked Woman still thinks anyone cares what she thinks or says! Most of the time, when she appears on TV, she is slurring her words and blathering on and on. Nobody cares Peggy! Go back to your Favorite Bottle!

She's got a small elderly choir, mostly deaf, and she's preaching to it.
Meanwhile, they're just waiting for their fruit cup.

“End the Republican Party?” Promise? It’s been a uniparty for years. Politicians insuring re-election while enriching themselves. They may go to DC with good aspirations but the darkness of that town overwhelms them.

Is she referring to the Republican Party that sent numerous repeals of Obamacare to the floor for a vote knowing Obama would veto, but wouldn't send one to Trump, knowing he'd sign it?
The McCain, Romney, and Kasich brand of Republicans? The ones we voted for, holding our noses, only because the Democrat alternative was slightly worse?

I haven't seen ol' Peggy in a long time...I wonder if she still has that annoying hairstyle that she has to keep pushing out of her face. From the article she sounds older that Diane Feinstein and just as confused. Time to retire, dear, you have passed your sell-by date.

Shut up, Noonan! When you say you'll not vote Republican if Trump is the nominee you are saying any Dem would be better. And if that is what you believe or would do - go to perdition.

During the first four years of the Trump presidency, we heard little from Noonan except occasional hen cluckings. She is a biased fool and rarely writes anything worth reading. When Trump wins for the third time in 2024 it will not be with the happy full support of the GOP and we are okay with that. The usual shills like Graham and McConnell can GTH.

Peggy assumed the role of house scold years ago. Nothing pleases her, everything is wrong, no one listens to her, blah, blah, blah. She's an embittered old hag who has never regained her former glory as one of Reagan's speechwriters. She was a complainer even then.

If since Reagan, she thinks that the "Right" drifted into crazy, how can she be so dense to not see that the "Left" went ten times crazier.
In a nutshell, from Tip O'Neill to Nancy Pelosi. From California in the 80s to California now.

From Obama onward, Peggy’s editorials have been progressively biased in favor of the Democrats. It seems that the Republicans can do no good and the Democrats can do no bad.

Peggy Noonan is a perfect representation of traditional establishment republicans. If her milquetoast candidate can't win, she'll do anything and everything she can to undermine whatever other republican candidate gets the nomination.

"Noonan! Miss! Miss!" If only it were as funny as Caddyshack.
Peg Noonan is the perfect example of the Republican Party's rino problem. She wrote some of Reagan's speeches in the 80s, but it only took a few decades to see exactly who she is. . .a rino at the head of the class. Ever since President Trump's first Administration it's been easier and easier to see who all the wolves in sheep clothing are. The "Republican" Party is rife with uniparty, rino, traitors whose true friends are the demorats, chicoms, etc.,...

Peggy Noonan is just a sad old crone looking for relevance and acceptance but finding only a contrived leftist echo chamber for her blather that she knows is as fake as RINO cocktail parties and congressional investigations that produce nothing of value. It pays the bills and feeds her ego, but it's still fake. Real Conservatives see right through her. Without Trump, flawed and boorish as the man undoubted is, the Republican Party ceases to exist. Sad.

It still amazes me that the Wall StreetJournal pays her to write a column almost every Saturday. Her stuff is almost unreadable; she makes no sense.
I knew she was headed downhill after the Kenyan Lightbringer was elected. She repeatedly performed journalistic fellatio for him.

When Trump is renominated, Democrat vote cheating will reach levels making 2020 and 2022 (in Arizona) pale into memory. I am fearful that this vote stealing via ballot harvesting, mail in ballots and preprogrammed voting machines (Arizona again) will lead to violence.

#22, It's even worse than that. I remember Rush talking about the time he met Noonan, early in his national syndication. She said, "Oh, you're the one all the truck drivers listen to."
For her, the GOP consists of politicians who have paid their dues, the Donor Class, and the East Coast intellectual writers. The rest of us are just supposed to vote for The Donor's Choice Award winner, and then go away.

Ending the GOP might be the very best thing to happen to this country since the Constitution was adopted. The dirtbag elitist pretend conservative politicians like Romney, Cheney, Bush and the other Asshats should wither away and allow the Union to flourish!

Peggy is an old bubble dweller who has never been impacted by liberal policies. It is horrifying to her that actual ‘voters’ are determined to take down the uniparty power structure in Washington and replace it with actual patriotic conservatives. Yuck.

The Wall Street Journal features Peggy (we, between ourselves, call her Bubbles, have done so for years) every Saturday/Sunday and 99% of the time, after getting the bare gist of the article, I go skips. She has such a bias and unawareness of so many in the general news facts that I just get annoyed, and almost every week there are Letters to the Editor on pretty much the same basis re: these commentaries. I am "small and elderly" (depends on your definition) and am NOT part of her choir, nor do I have any friends (who are not avid Democrats or NY Times readers) who agree with her.

What republican party is Pegs referring to? There’s the democrat/commiecrat/Marxist party that controls everything, and then there’s the Uniparty who greatly help the commiecrats, that would be Pierre DeFecto and Miss Lindsey. The Republican Party?! There’s maybe 20 or so looking out for us…maybe. She obviously hates those ones that are because of blind willful hatred of one man. So I don’t know what Republican Party Miss Pegs is talking about, and if they really exist.
