As the geography narrows before us, it is important to remember the stakes and avoid the distractions. As a consequence, the baseline must be reaffirmed. It is critical to understand that both the DNC and RNC are private corporations with no affiliation to government. It is a difficult shift in thinking, but the party system in U.S. politics revolves around two distinct private corporations – two clubs that feed from the same corporate trough and position for influence and affluence within a political dynamic they control. The priority for both clubs, Republican and Democrat, is NOT politically or culturally ideological.

Tell us again how Ted Cruz's dad killed JFK Given the timing of his original arrival on the scene, Is anyone else starting to wonder if Sundance might be a Hillary shill?

Why is it difficult to understand that political parties have no tie to government? Why is it difficult to understand that they are private organizations? I understood this when I was in high school. Maybe he should explain Federal Express to his readers.

The article stated, "The RNC want to give the illusion of support for MAGA conservatism because they need the base voter. . . ."
How true! The RNC establishment gives tacit support to the Right. McDaniel's and the RNC withheld campaign funds from MAGA (Trump) endorsed candidates, even in U.S. senate races like Arizona and Georgia, and then McConnell blamed the underwhelming 2022 results on Trump endorsed candidates.

In pursuing MAGA Republicanism, Trump never wastes an opportunity to belittle Rinos, apparently anyone who fails to see eye to eye with him on any issue. His supporters consistently deride by name anyone they see who falls in that category. Donald Trump and his supporters thus openly discourage the votes of moderates, independents, and disaffected Democrats. This leaves two questions. Who and where are the new Trump supporters who will help produce 270 electoral votes for Donald Trump in 2024? They are certainly not in the swing states.

Rage on, never Trumpers. Your strategy will not work with the realists on this site because we are results driven. Trump may run his mouth but he delivers the goods like no other President in modern history despite the brutal and constant attacks by his detractors. His haters refuse to acknowledge that he actually changed the course of the economy with policies that would work to produce long term results. They were not quick fixes but a philosophy based on what is good and right for the country.
Remember how incredulous the media was when reporting the economic data? What had changed is that the President was highly skilled in the international business and negotiations. Former Presidents were reliant on an economic team, not Trump. He knew the game and played it incredibly well only this time on behalf of the country and the American people. That is why he gets my vote. He got unprecedented results because his focus was on this country and although he was friendly with the CEO’s who were squirming because of his policies, he did what was right by the country. I can’t see another candidate who has walked in that rarified company, understands what makes them tick, and still managed to get what he wanted. This is a skill foreign to most politicians because they are beholden to these corporate leaders because of their financial support, not so with Trump. Hands down, he wins in this area. He can deliver on the economy to the great benefit of the American people. Trump wins on the economy.

Reading CTH has kept me informed and educated for a good long time. I think Sundance is especially insightful. I read CTH, Sundance to confirm what I think I know and what I see.
I watched this corporate duopoly slowly and methodically destroy America beginning with NAFTA, allowing Communist China into the global economy through the WTO and on and on the degradation of our Constitutional Republic continues to manifest representation in ways so grotesque Congress is forced to pay media to cover it up with decades of true lies.
I have had enough of this perverse duopoly's destructive legislation as well as the contempt and disdain they proudly exhibit every day towards the people and the country I love.
I'm am running running running FAST away from these lying freaks to America 1st/MAGA and it feels really good and it's about time!!!

Why is it that British Royalty are smart enough to abide by 'an heir and a spare', but the Republican Party TM is not? If for ANY reason, PDJT does not, or cannot run....then where are we? To be clear, Trump is absolutely the best choice in 2024. But we should hedge our bets. Why burn our lifeboats?

I respect Sundance greatly but respectfully disagree here. Allow me to keep it simple. We saw a positive reaction in the polls to the persecution of President Truno by Bragg/NYC. However, how much can people take? When DC indicts and convicts and Georgia does the same, he will be wounded, which is the DOJ strategy to protect Biden. We need to have a capable, strong candidate at the ready and it is DeSantis. Everyone else is weak and pathetic, especially Pence and Haley. DeSantis is not deep state, he is his own man.

Whenever given the chance, I will always go with the candidate that is not a professional politician. That candidate will not always say the right thing but most likely will do the right thing. Pretty much the opposite of a professional politician. I do not love DT. I love America and I know that DT loves America as well.

So when it becomes clear that he is owned and controlled by the Bushies and the globalist establishment republicans, will you acknowledge that he is not his own man and get back with the realiststs?

I strongly disagree with #11's last comment. DeSantis is so bought and paid for it is pitiful. Do your research.

Let’s be clear: Trump did not lose the 2020 election, Vote Counting Fraud won. If you do not know this, please do more research. It is the critical problem killing the USA. It just beat Kari Lake in AZ. It must be fought before a conservative can fairly win ever again. That might mean using the other side’s lawlessness to get the power to fix the process. Spending billions on anything else - like the pending primary race is ridiculous.
DeSaster is in bed with the Dominion lawyers, which is all I needed to know about him. Add that Rupert Murdoch has promised him the full support of Fox News! He is not the guy portrayed.

Globalists AND American Firsters are NOT mutually exclusive. Don't look now, but thanks to our elected leaders promoting borderless governments we already ARE living in a globalist NWO. "America First" just means that we want to look out for America's interests FIRST.

Even if true, it's still slime. I don't like being manipulated or influenced and that is what Sundance is doing. I want to be informed and nothing more. Sundance should stop picking sides and be an equal opportunity critic. I'd have more respect for him if he did that.
Trump has one act which means a second term will be no better than his first term. Don't doubt for a second our country's enemies will have something waiting for him as bad as the pandemic. He better know how to handle it. Biden is a corrupt mental midget who does not govern, and the people running the show hate America. He should not be there. DeSantis looks like he can be bought which makes him no better than Biden except he would do a better job at hiding the corruption which would be disastrous for the nation.
Seriously, we need to do better than this.
