Former Trump White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany will be stepping in to host “Fox News Tonight” in the network’s coveted primetime slot, which recently opened up after the company’s ousting of Tucker Carlson, all of next week.
McEnany shared the news on Twitter Thursday afternoon, writing, “I am honored to share that I will be hosting Fox News Tonight on @FoxNews at 8pm ET all next week (5/8-5/12)! Set your DVR.”

Fox News - the Anheuser Busch of broadcasting. Hey! I got an idea - let RuPaul host the show.

The likely hosting because Trump recently blasted his former press secretary for supporting DeSantis. Trump had bad people in charge of the hiring that brought in the worst people, RINOs and worse, and so I'm taking a guarded view of her.

Love you GF, but I refuse to watch anything but Gutfeld, and even that is on thin ice with me.

If you join that organization, you are implicitly endorsing what was done to Tucker Carlson.

It'll be a dud. Kayleigh McEnany is smart, but seems to have no sense of humor.

This gig will turn her into another Dana Perino. Although, she's almost there anyway.

The way Fox News is going don’t be surprised if after a bunch of current Fox News personalities, a week at a time, get to host that prime time show until the Tucker Carlson firing is tamped down. Then don’t be surprised if Fox News hires a clearly partisan “fair and balanced” leftist Democrat to permanently host that prime time show.

I like her but no thanks. I got news for Kayleigh. It is not an honor. Did you know that MSNBC is now getting higher ratings than fox.

She's been hanging out with Trump hating suburban women since she had her child and they have infected her. She will show her true colors in the coming year.

I like Kayleigh McEnany. I've enjoyed Brian Kilmeade and Lawrence Jones who have also hosted, but, to me, if they all had any consistency, any real integrity, they, along with Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and others would all resign in solidarity with Tucker. Let Fox eat that; all their high-profile, profitable stars resign en masse and take the further financial loss.

It'd be really funny if Carlson started his own network (not just a show) and hired McEnany (and a few others) from Fox for their own shows.
