Fox News said Monday that it has “agreed to part ways” with anchor Tucker Carlson.
Carlson, who hosts “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on weekdays at 8 pm, broadcast his final show on April 21, Fox News said.
The company noted that “Fox News Tonight” will replace Carlson’s show and air live on an interim basis. The new show will be helmed by a rotating group of Fox News personalities until a new host is named.
The announcement comes days after Fox News’ parent company settled Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation lawsuit for $787.5 million.

Tucker and "The Angle" are the only shows I watch on Fox News. Guess I'll find something else to do.

He spoke the truth too often with too much evidence backing him up.

Three quarters of a billion dollars speaks very loudly. There's no way Fox talent, singularly or collectively, can earn any network that kind of money. I suspect there will be more departures from Fox.
Dominion has One America News Network and Newsmax as pending corporate defamation cases.
And there's still the pending multi billion dollar Smartmatic defamation case.

Hope he finds a new home soon. He is going to be very pleasantly surprised how many viewers will follow him.

When you're talking the very best they had at Fox. You also have to include Maria Bartiromo of Fox Business. She is very talented.
If Tucker is gone you can bet money others will shortly be next.

I was still holding out hope, until this.
I just removed all 7 days of Fox and Friends, The Faulkner Focus, Outnumbered, Making Money with Charles Payne, The Story with Martha MacCallum, The Five, Special Report with Bret Baier, Jesse Waters Primetime, Hannity, The Ingram Angle, Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Fox News Sunday…and I think that covers everything…except Gutfeld!… gonna keep that for now.
If I understand TV ratings correctly, if you DVR a program for later consumption, it counts in the “rating wars” as fully as watching the program live.
Sadly, Verizon in my market eliminated OAN, but we still have Newsmax.
So long FNC, STUPID move to cancel Tucker.

Looks like the Democrats wanted Fox News to fire Tucker Carlson and it looks like Fox News dutifully compiled!

We are fighting for our democracy and we are fragging our leaders. I've always suspected this was going to be a tough fight but it does appear that we are doomed

HUGE mistake, and already reflected in their stock price right now. I believe Tucker mentioned the 4-letter name that starts and ends with "S" and that was the final straw for that old Aussie, Rupert, and his leftists boys.

Rupert can sit there every day and watch his fortune shrink. Fox just joined the alphabet soup club.

I'm sure Tucker's "parting ways" meant that FOX will continue to pay him for the remainder of his contract.
And in turn, he's probably prohibited from working for a competitor even at WPIG Radio, the 500 Watt Voice of Agriculture doing Farm News at 5 am until such time that his contractural term is completed.
It probably made good business sense for FOX to settle with Dominion. But if any part of the deal was to dump Tucker (or any other journalist), then it's a really bad sign.
