INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News exclusively on Friday night that he is “honored” to be the frontrunner for the White House in the 2024 presidential campaign.
Trump, just off his arraignment post-indictment in New York City, has seen a massive surge of support both in the GOP primary and in general election numbers in recent weeks.
“Well, I’m honored,” Trump said when asked why he thinks he is seeing the surge to frontrunner status. “Sadly, I have to say part of it is because the country is doing so poorly. I wish it were for other reasons. They saw how we did, and now they see

Is a settlement in the works?
A Delaware judge on Sunday delayed the Fox News-Dominion defamation trial.
Dominion Voting Systems is suing Fox News for $1.6 billion. The trial was set to begin Monday morning, however, it is now set to start on Tuesday.
“The Court has decided to continue the start of the trial, including jury selection, until Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.,” Judge Eric Davis said Sunday in a statement. “I will make such an announcement tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 7E.”
Judge Eric Davis of the Delaware Supreme Court (and a registered Democrat) last week sanctioned Fox News for withholding evidence in the Dominion Voting Systems defamation case.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance at an abortion rally in Los Angeles on Saturday, a day after the Supreme Court issued an administrative stay regarding restrictions on mifepristone, the drug used in about half of all abortions nationwide.
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito granted a five-day pause on Friday after the Department of Justice requested the court intervene following a ruling by Texas Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, which paused FDA approval of the abortion drug. In her remarks, Harris urged rallygoers to “stand up and fight,” describing the situation as a “critical moment” in U.S. history.

Bud Light is facing more cultural backlash after its transgender activist stunt featuring Dylan Mulvaney. On Friday night in Nashville, country music singer Riley Green decided to swap the “Bud Light” lyric in his song to a more palatable one. (Tweet/Video) “When @RileyGreenMusic sang his hit song ‘I Wish Grandpa’s Never Died”’ last night, he changed the lyrics a bit,” Rogan Handley said. “The new line is ‘and coolers never ran out of cold Coors Light’ instead of Bud Light. isney leadership thought the company out-maneuvered Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis this year after a last-minute agreement with local officials gave the theme park virtually unlimited developmental power. But sources tell The Federalist that Disney’s corporate lawyers missed the fine print in Florida statute governing tourist districts.
In February, supervisors running the Reedy Creek Improvement District signed an 11th-hour resolution to hand Disney maximum authority over the company’s 27,000 acres in central Florida. The late agreement effectively left the DeSantis-appointed successors on the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District board — which replaced the Reedy Creek board — powerless to govern Disney in their own state.

We’ve seen a lot of craziness over the years from the climate change cult.
First, it was global cooling, then global warming. Now, because they don’t know what they are talking about and none of their predictions come to pass, it’s the more amorphous “climate change” (although the “climate” is always changing). They are never held accountable for being wrong, and they just move on to the next thing to push us to panic over.(Snip) Let’s listen to what Joe Biden said during his vacation in Ireland. This was before he told guests at Dublin Castle that he wanted to “lick the world.” (Tweet/Video)

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were ill-prepared for just how low down the Hollywood “pecking order” they’d be, according to a former friend of the actress.
TV presenter Nick Ede, who says his friendship with the former “Suits” star started years before she had her sights set on the palace, claims that the pair didn’t realize they wouldn’t be known as “Hollywood royalty” when they moved across the pond to California.
“I think they came in and thought that the number one people on the block and they’re not really,” Ede, who says he lost contact with Markle when she started dating the Duke of Sussex, told the Express.

I have only one criticism of the just-released book by long-time superstar FBI agent Thomas Baker entitled “The Fall of the FBI.” It really should be entitled “The Winter of the FBI.” That’s how bad things have gotten in the upper echelons of the Bureau.
It wasn’t always that way. More than half the book is a collection of true crime stories that illustrate the competence and professionalism of the Bureau in the old days. Most end with the bad guys in jail.
Baker had a first-hand view of these cases because he was involved in many of them.

Yet in a recent press conference, Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby had the audacity to state that he was proud of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. This followed the release of a report from the Biden administration that lays the blame for this withdrawal at the feet of President Trump, taking little to no responsibility. This is a sign of failed leadership.

Donald Trump stood before Republican National Committee donors on Saturday to make his case for a return to the White House, arguing that he deserves another chance to finish a dramatic party transformation that he started nearly eight years ago.
In his remarks to GOP elite gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel, Trump traded the election grievance rhetoric that has defined his last two years in the public eye for a different type of message — his vision for the future, while arguing that he single-handedly “saved” the Republican Party from “the establishment class” when he won in 2016.

Before the COVID pandemic, Dr. Paul Marik became well-known for his development of a highly effective sepsis protocol using intravenous vitamin C, which resulted in a dramatic reduction in mortality rates. Then, in 2020, he cofounded the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) and subsequently published one of the most comprehensive and effective protocols for treating COVID-19.
Despite a stellar career up to that point, the sin of insisting on early treatment for COVID-19, and sharing that information with the public, resulted in him being vilified, discredited and ultimately forced to resign.

In 2019, Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman admitted while being questioned by the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday that he had leaked information to an anti-Trump whistleblower at the center of the Democrats’ partisan impeachment proceedings of President Donald Trump. Vindman attempted to provide talking points to Trump prior to his “infamous” Ukraine phone call and then leaked a mischaracterization of the call afterward. Vindman was directly confronted by California Rep. Devin Nunes. Nunes asked:
“Lieutenant Colonel Vindman, did you discuss the July 25 phone call with anyone outside the White House on July 25 or the 26, and if so, with whom?” “Yes. I did,” Vindman responded.

Democrats, led by President Joe Biden, are making a big bet on Brandon Johnson.
They’re betting the Chicago that delegates and reporters pour into for their national presidential nominating convention in August 2024 will be helmed by a progressive, labor-friendly mayor whose policies are making the city a better place. They’re betting Johnson can help them tell a multicultural, multigenerational Democratic story that their geriatric presidential nominee can use as a springboard to energize young voters and win four more years in the White House.
And they’re betting their made-for-TV bash will go off without a hitch in a city that has a spotty record throwing these shindigs and a national reputation

The facts in this case are even more repulsive than incidents involving men who insist they’re women usually are. A group of seven college girls in Wyoming is suing the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority for admitting a man who claims to be a woman into its chapter at the University of Wyoming, exposing the plaintiffs and their sorority sisters to his lewd behavior.
After a woman who claimed to be a man murdered six people in Nashville and trans activists menaced and assaulted women’s rights activist Riley Gaines at San Francisco State University, the plaintiffs requested anonymity. A federal judge, however, has now twice denied this request.

Back in October 2021, Alec Baldwin fatally shot the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza on the set of his film “Rust”.
The incident was most likely an accident, but irrespective of his intentions, Baldwin was responsible for the death of Hutchins. Most humans feel remorseful even if they accidentally cause another human he slightest of discomfort.
Most humans in Baldwin’s place would be immersed in an ocean of sorrow and repentance for a prolonged period. Baldwin’s actions left a young child without a mother and destroyed a family.
Most humans with Baldwin’s wealth would have reached out to the victims and helped them in every possible way including financially.

Francis Menton at the Manhattan Contrarian, who often has well-considered things to say, posted an intriguing and important blog this week.
In 2009 the EPA found that CO2 and other “greenhouse gases” endanger human health and welfare because they potentially warm the atmosphere. Many scientists have taken issue with this finding, which has provided the justification for reducing conventional energy sources, raised the cost of energy to consumers, and unrolled massive federal and state spending for manifestly unreliable alternative sources. Friday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich urged Republicans not to be portrayed as the “anti-Biden party.”
