I haven't liked whats coming for a long time. At 12 years old I noticed an awful lot of George McGovern's campaign promises stunk of the very communism we were learning about in history class. And I got in trouble for pointing it out. Look at us now. We may well have less freedom than the old Soviet Union. And thats just us nobodies. We're seeing now what they do to a real threat. How many posters here are fed plants? One for sure. Probably others.

The first two paragraphs of Mullins piece are heartening. Before retirement, I traveled on business to many places in the world. I will just say that many many people in the world live just as Mullin describes it and they accept it because it has always been that way for them. India's major cities were the worst for me where the power outages were constant all day long especially in the heat of summer and you don't dare drink the water. You don't think rolling blackouts will become commonplace here thanks to the uniparty? Guess again while power plants here are being decommissioned one by one.

I spent three years in the Socialist Republic of Romania under the thumb of Nicolae Ceausescu so I’ve seen it all before. Every time I see an idiot with a Bernie Sanders sticker on his/her car or see these college students rallying for socialism, all I can think is - when you get what you think you want, you’re not going to like it, but you will deserve it. The rest of us, not so much.

I've always found it amusing how the loony left calls themselves "progressives" but everything they support involves going backwards. They want people to be less intelligent and excessively immoral, they want the modes of transportation to be slower and less reliable and they want people to revert to the classes of master and slave. As Mark Twain wisely said, and I paraphrase, the process of Revolution always must begin with bloodshed because intelligent discourse is dead by the time it is needed. Actually, I do like what is coming.

#2, the current Indian Government under PM Modi has added as much to the country's electrical output in eight years (2014 to 2022) as the prior Socialist governments did in over seventy.. One reason Mr. Modi is hated by the liberal West. The attacks on him are disturbingly similar to those on Doanld Trump.

The pandemic shows that most Americans will willingly follow the government's edicts formed by "experts" and outside question or debate. Prosperity and complexity combine to make taking the experts' words the easiest path. Liberty is a difficult thing, demanding decisions and personal responsibility. Fewer and fewer want such a world. Liberty scares hell out of them. Freedom for others must be curtailed. It's for our own good. Put on that mask, take that vaccine, and gimme that gun!

We haven't seen anything yet. What the writer pointed out here is something i failed to notice in my studies of revolutions: once established ("normalization"), each established regime will fail to improve conditions and the dissatisfaction that results will be directed against it. It will be overthrown and a more radical regime will be installed. There might be several iterations of this cycle until a dictator ruthless enough to survive assumes power. This is a pattern constantly seen to varying degrees in all revolutions I recommend that after reading this, view or review Yuri Bezmenov's lectures on You-tube. You'll then understand our predicament thoroughly.

Donald Trump’s indictment makes one wonder if the members of the Democrat party have ever picked up a history book, walked by one in a library, or accidentally heard an episode of the History of Rome podcast. I doubt it because if they had, they’d know that Rome didn’t transition from a republic to an empire overnight (snip) Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. By the time Caesar became dictator in 49 BC, the Republic was already gone in everything but name only. The Republic’s collapse had been put in motion 80 years before with the murder of Tiberius Gracchus.

Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio recently testified at the trial of rapper Pras Michel, who stands accused of accepting money from Malaysian fugitive tycoon Jho Low, to influence U.S. politics. (snip) Low allegedly recruited Michel to funnel the money to Obama’s reelection bid using an illegal network of third parties paid for by foreign funds. (Foreigners cannot donate to U.S. campaigns under federal election law.) The prosecutors have accused Michel of receiving $21.6 million in payments from foreign accounts linked to Low, funds which the rapper then paid out to roughly twenty straw donors

The indictment and pending arraignment of Donald Trump signal a new era for the Republican Party. The indictment of President Trump is unprecedented; no President, former or current has ever been indicted before.
