This afternoon, former President Trump surrendered to authorities in New York City. Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg performed a legal gymnastic stunt worthy of Cirque du Soleil to bring charges against the former president and leading Republican presidential contender.
Whether or not you like Trump, Americans of every stripe should recognize the dangerous territory the United States has wandered into. For the first time in American history, a former president has been indicted and arraigned in a clear case of political targeting. CNN and other liberal media outlets have been running wall-to-wall coverage, breathlessly reporting on every move Trump has made in the last 24 hours.

It’s been a really depressing day for America, and you deserve a laugh, so here it is. On the very same day that Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg was busy torching American civil norms, the notoriously left-leaning Ninth District Court of Appeals ordered the annoying skank who started this whole mess to pay Donald Trump $121,972.56 in addition to the half a million dollars she already owes him.
Just The News reports:
"The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday ordered that Stormy Daniels pay an additional $121,972.56 to former President Donald Trump to cover legal fees stemming from her suit against him.

Chicago voters will go to the polls on Tuesday to choose their next mayor with the out-of-control crime rate uppermost in their minds. Former Chicago public schools CEO Paul Vallas and Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson offer two different visions for the voters — and two different versions of reality.
Both men are Democrats and men of the left. But there are stark contrasts that separate the candidates and give the voters a clear choice.
Vallas portrays himself as a hard-headed realist. He believes that without public order, the rest of his agenda won’t matter that much. He wants to rebuild the Chicago Police Department and not just in manpower.

On Monday night, it was leaked that Donald Trump will be charged with 34 felony counts for allegedly falsifying business records. The details of the indictment were not supposed to be released, and Trump quickly called out District Attorney Alvin Bragg for illegally leaking the details of the indictment.
“Wow! District Attorney Bragg just illegally LEAKED the various points, and complete information, on the pathetic Indictment against me,” Trump wrote in a post shared on Truth Social. “I know the reporter and so, unfortunately, does he. This means that he MUST BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED. Now, if he wants to really clean up his reputation, he

With everyone distracted by China, skyrocketing crime and inflation, a nonexistent Southern border, and rapidly increasing authoritarianism in Washington, the Islamic State (ISIS) has taken the opportunity to strike again in North America.
Yes, that’s right: ISIS, the group that everyone has forgotten about amid worries about “Islamophobia” and hysteria over near-nonexistent “white supremacist” terrorism. Canada’s Global News published the shocking report early Monday afternoon: “An attack on a transit bus in Surrey, B.C. over the weekend is being treated as terrorism after RCMP national security police took over the investigation.” It seems that the perpetrator, a manifestation of Canada’s deep commitment to diversity and multiculturalism named Abdul Aziz Kawam,

This weekend, Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears (R-VA) and Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH) appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher. When Maher asked them about President Trump’s indictment, both skirted the topic.
Sears said they hadn’t seen the charges and didn't comment any further. Sununu called the indictment a circus but immediately proceeded to attack Trump, claiming he didn’t think Trump will be the GOP nominee in 2024 and that Trump can’t win the general election. `Maher’s show was a great opportunity for Sears and Sununu to explain Democrat voters how Trump is being targeted, but alas it was squandered as they opted to sit on the fence.

“If the United States does not compete effectively against adversaries, it could ‘lose without fighting.'” -- Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley; in the Executive Summary of Joint Concept for Competing.
In mid-March, the Joint Chiefs issued a 91-page press release titled JOINT CONCEPT FOR COMPETING (JCFC) which announces the Pentagon's shift in the way it views warfare and its intent to proactively counter the CCP's long-range strategy to conquer the United States. The CCP's strategy is traced to a treatise, published in 1999, by two CCP coronels, Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui, under the title Unrestricted Warfare. The goal, in unrestricted warfare, is to weaken

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) A hot topic of conversation among Americans of all political persuasions these days is whether President-in-Theory Joe Biden will be running the country completely into the ground for reelection next year.
The question of whether he even can run is a valid one. Biden didn’t really have to campaign in 2020. He just had to sit still for a few minutes in his basement and concentrate on not drooling while his wife spoke for him on videos that looked like they were produced by one of his grandkids. If this guy has to leave the White House more than 10 times

My field of study in graduate school was communism. As a fellow at the Russian Institute of Columbia’s School of International Affairs, I was, if I remember correctly, one of seven students in the entire university to major in what was known at the time as “Communist Affairs.”
I cite this in order to make this point: In my wildest dreams, I never imagined what I was studying would ever apply to the United States of America, the freest country in world history.
I assumed that communism was, for various reasons, something that happened elsewhere — most obviously, Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba, Cambodia and North Korea.
What were those various reasons?

What we call liberalism in America is a global philosophy or movement. Thus, what Janet Daley writes in England’s Telegraph applies equally here, and across the West: “The Left now has a demonic new aim: to make ordinary people poorer.”
"We are living through the most startling political realignment in more than 100 years. Never since the advent of modern socialism in the early 20th century has the Left openly advocated making ordinary people poorer, thereby leaving those on the Right to defend the spread of mass prosperity. The debate (if this tendentious chorus of unanimity can be called a debate) on net zero has entirely shifted the ground on which

On a Saturday night this past February in St. Louis, 17-year-old Janae Edmonson’s life was shattered. A 2023 Audi Q5 sped through a downtown intersection, failed to yield, and struck another car, rolling into the high school volleyball star. Edmonson will never set or spike again—both of her legs had to be amputated.
The driver of the Audi was 21-year-old Daniel Riley, who had no driver’s license and was accused in 2020 of armed robbery with a firearm, a Class A felony. Since his release on bond for the latter offense, he had violated the terms of his supervision more than 100 times, with no accountability resulting from

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) America’s current dystopian turn has been long in the making but manifesting more rapidly since about, oh, Jan. 20, 2021. Ever since the reins of the United States government were handed over to a mumbling moron who is being controlled by people who are almost as slow as he is, the official narrative about good guys and bad guys has been turned upon its head.
Just last week, we were again discussing the dangerously messed up priorities of federal law enforcement. Merrick Garland’s unhinged rogue Justice Dept. has been eyeing concerned parents and traditional Catholics. Neither group has produced any murderers yet.
