Let’s End The Era Of COVID Tyranny

America and the rest of the world have suffered under big government’s smothering hand during the three-year COVID “emergency,” which has been used to silence critics and force obedience to nonsensical medical edicts. It’s time to reclaim our ancient liberties and live free again. And here’s a good start: A Republican-led bill to declare an official end to the COVID emergency passed the Senate for a third time Wednesday, this time by a 68-23 majority. While President Joe Biden “strongly” opposes the measure, a White House source told Associated Press, he’ll sign it anyway. Why?

36 months into this madness. Effective way to control people. Boss people around. Covid fest ended two Springs ago. Absolute and totally weaponized with the VAX disaster. I strength train for health. Have a modest home gym. Prior Covid, I began workouts at IHS Govt. gym in Northestern Arizona that is STILL mask mandated and restricted as is its Main Hospital Campus. Same time, I found a private gym in a Western New Mexico town that was at first following the Covid Mandates and gradually move free from it TWO years ago. Time to end this madness now. The game is UP!

Until the Medical Establishment comes out and frankly admits it's 'mistakes' and guilt, we will have COVID in one form or another. A good start is to stop all vaccination and admit that the vaccine (a) isn't a vaccine (b) does not work as promised (c) is actually harmful to children and young people. ANothr would be to lift all mask requirements immediately.

What kind of a leader "strongly opposes" something but signs it anyway. How 'bout a two-faced lying politician who can now say "i opposed it" and "I signed it" depending upon the audience and whatever the next poll says. This sums up FJB's political over the last 55 years. What a disgusting grifter.

Get the federal government out of health care. No more tax dollars disguised as grants (bries) to favored medical "researchers" to buy their silence and/or loyalty even if their "research' is flawed or useless. The universities and colleges in this country have huge endownments so let them finance their own medical research.

Most of us ended it ourselves two years ago when we refused to comply with the idiocy any longer. To the editorial board - if you’re going to write about all of the lies, you should not repeat one of them in the very next paragraph. There were NOT more than a million covid deaths in the US. There were more than a million people who supposedly died WITH covid, not from it. And many of those deaths were lies - when one is killed in a motorcylcle accident and the corpse happens to test positive, it is not a “covid death”.

Certainly over 2 years past time to declare the emergency over. That is not enough. We need the laws rewritten to limit emergency powers, including their duration. The current law obscenely open ended. Did Lindsey Graham also not read those bills?

Going to the dentist this morning here in California. Masks are still required…so I have to muzzle up just to go into the waiting area (it’s a small 2 dentist practice and there is NEVER another patient waiting—EVER). The receptionist is behind plexiglass, double masked and stupid (but when you leave and have to pay, you do it inside a foot from her face without the plexiglass!). They come out and scan my forehead for a fever, then march me thru a door into an exam room—where I can remove the darn mask. So, what was the freaking point? Dentist is double masked, a surgical mask with and N95 on top, and wearing goggles over his glasses…AND a visor. I can’t understand anything he says! I have to rinse with some germicidal crap, too. I mean, WTH? Why? This is so freaking stupid. I’m soooo sick of this. I haven’t been to a doctor since Covid because I can’t wear a stupid mask. Insanity. Absolute insanity. Make it stop.

Liberals might be scratching their heads over why potential Donald Trump rivals are rushing to denounce his indictment. The reason is simple. Conservative Republicans know that if this assault is allowed to stand, they will be next. The left, as well as the rabble of never-Trump Republicans, like to tell everybody that the unprecedented measures taken against Trump – culminating with this week’s indictment – are justified because he poses a unique threat to our precious democracy. Every day it gets more difficult to ignore just how odious the political left in this country is. In case we needed a reminder – we didn’t – another instance of the progressives’ deranged minds landed last week: The Biden administration is, in effect, coming after air conditioners. No, it doesn’t appear that the White House is planning to outright ban air conditioning. But a recent round of rule making at the Energy Department will make new window units less efficient at cooling and more expensive to buy, which will create hardships for the millions of poor Americans who use them to

In recent decades, Americans have shown strong support for the idea of free trade, based on the belief that they would benefit as much as or more than our trading partners did. But in recent years, as trade and geopolitical conflict with China grew and economic growth slowed, Americans’ support for free trade has waned, as the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. Given recent public debates over trade, the online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,358 adults, taken from March 1-3, asked Americans three questions about current trade policy proposals. All come from recent proposals made by former President Donald Trump, as he presumably moves to run again for the presidency in 2024.

Way back in the mid-1980s, communist Yugoslavia exported the Yugo, a compact car that sold for around $4,000. It was so poorly made that bumping into a pole at 5 mph could total it. Fast forward to today, and a new class of cars has a similar problem. A minor accident can cause a total loss, even if the car’s been driven only a few miles. The only difference is that these cars aren’t cheap imports from some godforsaken socialist state. These are state-of-art electric vehicles that come with an average sticker price of $55,000. Why are insurance companies totaling low-mileage EVs that have been in a fender bender?

A week from Tuesday we will mark the 55th anniversary of the day the murderous James Earl Ray took the life of Martin Luther King Jr. The civil rights leader should be allowed to rest in peace, but he is being slain yet again, this time by a mob of mediocre minds with rock-bottom character that seeks to overturn his life’s works. In what is widely acknowledged as his greatest speech, King dreamed that his “four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the

"The U.S. banking system is sound and resilient,” Federal Reserve Board Chairman Jerome Powell said on Wednesday in an effort to calm depositors worried about more bank failures. That was the same day the Fed raised interest rates another quarter point to deal with inflation that has been running at four-decade highs for nearly two years. The two problems, along with so many others that families are confronting right now, have a common cause: President Joe Biden’s disastrous economic policies. While another banking crisis might have been contained – a reassurance we take with a grain of salt – the Biden crisis will continue to metastasize

In recent years, the U.S. has suffered recurring banking crises almost like clockwork. Indeed, about every 10 years or so we seem to go through another financial panic, only to be followed by a spate of bad regulations passed to ensure “it won’t happen again.” But it always does. So how do we end this cycle? U.S. banking disasters plagued the late 20th century and early 21st century. But of course they go back long before even that, to 1907 and 1929, as two examples. More recently, there was the 1980s and ’90s savings and loan crisis, the 1998 collapse of Long-Term Capital Management and global crisis, the 2007 financial crisis

The Russia-Ukraine conflict has dominated the news for a year, and has led to yet another sharp political split in the U.S. as fears grow that the conflict could spiral out of control and lead to a wider war in Europe with Russia. Average Americans are deeply concerned, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. In this month's online I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from March 1-3 of 1,370 adults, we asked Americans a number of questions to gauge their opinions and feelings about the Russia-Ukraine war, and the U.S.' role in supporting Ukraine. The first question asked: "How concerned are you that the

Incredulity. Astonishment. Disgust. Anger. It is these feelings – amongst others – that describe the general reaction to the revelations of the Twitter Files and other egregious episodes of Big Tech censorship of the electronic public square. The implicit deal with companies like Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc., is very simple:  we will look at your ads if you give us a service for free. The deal did not include censorship. But what is society to expect when those doing the censoring seem to see absolutely nothing wrong with it, that it didn’t even occur to them that what they were engaged in –

A couple of National Hockey League players have refused to be bullied into wearing pride jerseys during pregame warmups and much of the response has been madness – and worse. It’s another sign that Western culture is in a steep decline. In 1980’s “The Sweater,” an animated short that gets its title from the traditional term for a hockey jersey in Canada, a boy in Quebec accidentally receives a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey rather than the Montreal Canadiens No. 9 Maurice Richard jersey that his mother had ordered, and the jersey all his friends wear. The Biden administration’s bulletin board, also known as the Washington Post, featured an article last week headlined: “Biden takes heat for border measures, but illegal crossings are down.” Various other news outlets echoed this theme, using terms such as “plunged” and “plummeted,” to describe what is, in fact, a record-high number of illegal crossings in both January and February. How did the administration pull off this “plunge”? Basically, by narrowing the focus and by redefining what counts as an illegal border crossing.

Trans activists have been storming state capitols over the last few days. On March 29, it was Kentucky. On March 30, it was Tennessee. Now for the third day in a row, trans activists have stormed another state capitol. This time, it’s Florida. But I’m fairly certain that none of these people will be charged with an effort to “obstruct an official proceeding,” after they screamed at the top of their lungs. One of the organizers ranted, to whip up the crowd, “This fight does not end here. We keep showing up every single day. We keep making our voices heard.” Then

Everything about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is shallow fakery and manipulative astroturf. The term “astroturf” is given whenever a political operation attempts to generate the illusion of support where little to no support exists.
