Well, you have probably heard the news by now. A Manhattan grand jury has voted to indict former President Donald Trump for allegedly paying hush money to a former porn star. I’ve said before that I think New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who has been prosecuting this case, wears a MAGA hat behind closed doors. This development is proving me right.
The decision to indict Trump was probably the kindest gift Democrats could have given to the Orange Man What Is Bad™. Unless something radical occurs, this indictment will ensure that the former president secures the GOP presidential nomination.

When he’s right, he’s right. Donald Trump issued a statement on Thursday evening after the United States of America completed its descent to banana-republic status, saying: “This is Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.” He then recalled some of the Left’s earlier attempts to frame and destroy him for crimes he didn’t commit. This instance is no different: every sentient being on the planet knows that Trump hasn’t been indicted for any actual criminal activity, but because he is the foremost foe of the Leftist political establishment, and thus the fundamental obstacle to their authoritarian goals.

I try to bring humor to everything. I’m a comedian. As my wonderful friend and mentor Stephen Kruiser can tell you, comics find humor in the worst of conditions. Not only can I not see the “funny” in the Tennessee shooting, I don’t want to seek it.
The trans movement asked for tolerance, then acceptance. Then they just wanted to use the restroom of their preference for their safety, despite a lack of violence against trans people and a bushel full of trans attacks on kids. We allowed it. I regret that. A lot.

As RedState reported, dramatic body-cam footage of police confronting and killing the Nashville Christian school shooter emerged on Tuesday. It was a picture of heroism as officers rushed into the school to clear rooms and stop the carnage.
Within minutes, they had located the shooter, with one officer taking down the self-identified “transgender man” with a precision that only comes from actual training and the courage to use it. Another officer finished the ordeal after the shooter again tried to go for her gun.
The footage is incredible but also somewhat graphic so discretion is advised. [Video]
But while the sequence is harrowing,

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie suggested to an audience on Monday that he may enter the 2024 presidential race to torpedo former President Donald Trump.
Christie made the remarks while speaking at St. Anselm’s College in New Hampshire. Christie campaigned in New Hampshire more than any other GOP candidate in 2016 and was blown out there, leading him to suspend his campaign.
“You better have somebody on that stage who can do to him what I did to Marco because that’s the only thing that’s gonna defeat Donald Trump,” Christie said in reference to him going hard after Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) during the debates.

The future of cancer treatment — hailed as the “holy grail” of early detection — is now being put to the test.
Following a radically successful trial on cancer patients, a new blood test that promises to predict tumors more than a year before they begin to form is now being applied in hospitals across the United Kingdom.
“This is the first pan-cancer blood test,” said Ashish Tripathi, founder and CEO of Tzar Labs as well as chairman of Epigeneres Biotech, the Indian firm where the test was first developed in 2021. An updated report on their findings was published this month in the journal Stem Cells.

A Florida doctor was recently defrocked over his affinity for ivermectin, proving the biomedical state’s tentacles are entrenched even in the reddest of states.
Via The Floridian:
The American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) has stripped the certification of Florida Doctor John Littell. Littell, a U.S. Army veteran and Family Physician made headlines for using Ivermectin to treat over 3000 Covid-19 patients.
“I got disciplined for giving Ivermectin which got a young mom out of the hospital in three days when she would have died,” said Dr Littell speaking outside a meeting of the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Board.
First of all, let’s get the ivermectin nonsense out of the way.

Move over “died suddenly,” because “train carrying hazardous materials derails” is quickly becoming the most common story to pop up in our news feeds.

A gun control activist took over the Nashville Police's briefing and began ranting about the problem with guns after the officers had concluded giving initial details about a school shooting at Covenant School, a private Christian elementary school that has left three students and three adults dead.
The woman walked up to the microphones and asked the journalists if they were tired of reporting on school shootings. She revealed she is currently on family vacation with her child but she came down to the scene when the news broke.
