Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney behind the alleged incoming indictment of former President Donald J. Trump, boasted about his ability to prosecute Trump even before taking office as DA.
Bragg touted his experience investigating Trump in an interview with Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” during his run for Manhattan DA. He said prosecuting Trump was “the number one issue.”
“A lot of people are wondering, whoever has this job are they going to convict Donald Trump,” host Ebro Darden asked. “That is the number one issue,” Bragg responded.

Former President Donald Trump reached number one on Billboard’s digital song sales chart with his debut single, “Justice For All,” featuring the J6 Prison Choir.
Released this month, “Justice For All” is a tribute to the January 6 prisoners that features the “J6 Prison Choir,” an ensemble of prisoners who can be heard singing the national anthem while Trump recites the Pledge of Allegiance. These prisoners reportedly sing the anthem each night before going to bed. Their audio was recorded over the phone and then mixed with Trump’s vocals by an audio engineer.

Prosecutors in the special counsel's office have presented compelling preliminary evidence that former President Donald Trump knowingly and deliberately misled his own attorneys about his retention of classified materials after leaving office, a former top federal judge wrote Friday in a sealed filing, according to sources who described its contents to ABC News.

Six dolphins were euthanized after washing ashore in a mass stranding at a Sea Isle City beach Tuesday, just hours after two others had died, officials said.
The stranded dolphins were found around 11 a.m. between the 51st and 52nd street beaches, Sea Isle police Chief Anthony Garreffi told NJ Advance Media at the scene.
Police officers were joined by local rescue squad members, who covered the dolphins in blankets, to form a bucket brigade pouring ocean water on the dolphins for hours as Marine Mammal Rescue Center officials raced to the scene, he said.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has finally taken the gloves off and launched a blistering attack on his former mentor President Donald Trump.
In an exclusive wide-ranging interview with me airing on Fox Nation’s “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Thursday, he said “stay tuned” about his widely expected announcement that he’s running for president and declared: I have what it takes to be president and I can beat Biden. But it’s what he said about Trump that will ignite a firestorm in the Republican Party.
For months, DeSantis has said nothing as Trump’s escalated his verbal attacks on him, branding his ex-protégé “Ron DeSanctimonious” and “Meatball Ron.”

Roughly two years ago, President Biden issued an executive order that went relatively unnoticed and has been mostly forgotten by now, but which endangers the integrity of our elections.
Executive Order 14019 instructs federal agencies, some of which are unrelated to election administration, to collaborate with external private groups to “promote voter registration and voter participation.”
As innocuous as this sounds on its face, the White House is emulating billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s efforts to influence the 2020 election and turning it into a publicly-funded operation. That’s right: who needs Zuckerbucks when taxpayers like you can fund Democrat voter outreach?
And before you say that’s unconstitutional, since when has that mattered

On Monday night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson made a compelling argument that indicting former President Donald Trump could lead to the permanent destruction of the United States justice system.
Although Carlson acknowledged that former presidents could be indicted if they have committed a crime, the undeniable fact is that Trump is the current frontrunner for the Republican nomination for president, and the abuse of the justice system by partisan prosecutors to take out a political opponent would be unprecedented and dangerous.
In fact, as Carlson pointed out, Alvin Bragg ran for district attorney on the promise that he would indict Trump.

Carlson notes and contrasts recent -almost identical situations- involving former Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards, and later Hillary Clinton. (Snip) We’re still reeling as a nation from the fact that the man who currently occupies the Oval Office has the mental capacity of a diminished gnat. If we’re being honest with each other — and we always are here — Joe Biden was never the sharpest tool in the shed. A lot of what we’ve been witnessing since Jan. 20, 2021, gets attributed to his age but Biden has always been a no-filter loon whose grip on reality is tenuous on his best days.
And he’s always been a liar.
Over the years, many — even conservatives — have called what Biden does

Less than one hour into the City Council’s budget workshop Monday morning, Mayor Frank Hibbard said he was concerned about the direction his colleagues were taking the city, packed his briefcase and resigned from the dais.
The council was discussing about 30 capital projects and a $250 million shortfall for how to pay for them. When his four colleagues agreed that spending $90 million on building a new City Hall and municipal services complex was their top budget priority, Hibbard was the only one to push back.
The mayor called a five minute recess. When they reconvened, Hibbard explained what he described as one of the hardest decisions

Her name is Abigail Zwerner and she’s the elementary school teacher in Virginia who became national news after she was shot by a 6-year-old on January 6. Zwerner was praised after the shooting because, despite being hit in the hand and the chest, she got all 20 of the kids in her class out of the room before leaving herself. She then spent two weeks in the hospital and has had multiple surgeries. Now she’s given her first interview to NBC News which will be aired in full tomorrow morning.[snip] Zwerner is filing a lawsuit later this month against the school system citing failures to respond to warnings

A Washington DC resident excoriated Dr. Anthony Fauci and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser as they went door to door in his Anacostia neighborhood encouraging residents to receive the Covid -19 vaccine
In footage going viral on social media, the DC resident blasts Fauci and the Democrat lawmaker for coercing the public to inject themselves with the Covid “vaccines,” a gene-editing technology that has taken more lives than any vaccine in history and prevents no transmission against the man-made virus.
“The people in America are not settled with the information that’s been given to us right now. So, I’m not going to be lining up, taking a shot or a vaccination for something

The Biden administration will approve new California rules to cut tailpipe pollution and phase out sales of diesel-burning trucks, according to three people briefed on the plans, a move that could jump-start the nation’s transition to electric-powered trucks and help communities harmed by diesel pollution. The Environmental Protection Agency intends to grant California “waivers” to enforce environmental rules that are significantly tougher than federal requirements and that state regulators have already approved, said these individuals, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the announcement was not yet public. The new policies could have a profound effect on the air

Climate Change is a religion. We all know that. The University of Helsinki has decided to make that official by giving Greta Thunberg an honorary Doctorate of Theology at the ripe old age of 20. Pretty sure she hasn’t graduated from High School, but maybe I am wrong. I thought she dropped out to become a climate change activist. Now that she is Dr. Thunberg she can glue herself to Volkswagens or something. Isn’t that what activists with Ph. D.s do these days?

Perhaps the reason there are so many “conspiracy theories” is because individuals are seeking to explain phenomena that they find difficult to understand or accept. The tide of homelessness, the perceived betrayal of the institutions etc. are like Egyptian pyramids risen suddenly on the plain. Conspiracy requires two essential ingredients to exist: mystery and mistrust. If you see a familiar kind of deer in the woods it doesn’t set your mind churning. But if you see something you never saw before — or didn’t even think possible — when no existing theory of causation seems to fit, then you get to thinking up new ones.

When we last heard from Nina Jankowicz, lately of Joe Biden's now-scuppered Disinformation Governance Board, she was holding a $100,000 fundraiser to sue Fox News for its coverage of her idiocies and antics.
Seems the old urge to censor burns bright in the soul of the famous singing censor. If she can't censor through a DM to Twitter, then doing a lawsuit can perhaps accomplish the same.
Surely every leftist would agree with her, right?
Well, no.
Jankowicz's GoFundMe pot to raise cash to sue Fox has yielded just ...$42,879,

Leaks have been flying for about a week that Donald Trump is about to be indicted by a Manhattan grand jury -- for improperly accounting for a payment made to Stormy Daniels. District Attorney Alvin Bragg seems to be slowing things down a bit, claiming they still need to hear from another witness. However, I think he’s committed at this point. He let the leak happen. Now he can’t back out. The Democratic Party’s radical base will fly into a fit of rage if they are denied a Trump indictment. I have a question for DA Bragg: Have you thought this out?

The Democrat Party has been a stain on the nation since its founding in 1828 by a virulently racist president, Andrew Jackson. It was the party of slavery and the Confederacy, it initiated racial segregation by legislating and brutally enforcing Jim Crow laws. It unabashedly aligned with and supported the Ku Klux Klan for over nine decades, thus promoting antisemitism, religious persecution and xenophobia. Over the past sixty-years the Party has embraced and promulgated cultural Marxism which espouses the transformation of traditional American culture and society. The Party has succeeded in undermining the family structure and religious freedom as well as mainstreaming abortions

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) slammed President Joe Biden for vetoing a bipartisan anti-ESG bill and prioritizing a “radical policy agenda” over getting the “best financial returns for millions of Americans’ retirement investments.”
“This Administration continues to prioritize their radical policy agenda over the economic, energy, and national security needs of our country, and it is absolutely infuriating,” stated Manchin, who is up for reelection this cycle.Manchin was referring to Biden issuing his first veto on Monday to reject a bipartisan bill, H.R. 30, that would nullify his Labor Department rule allowing left-wing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies

The day that Donald Trump proclaimed he’d be arrested is upon us. Will he or won’t he be processed and taken into custody on a weak attempt to relitigate the Stormy Daniels payoff? All we can do is wait, and since there is no timeline for grand jury deliberations, that wait could drag on.
In the meantime, Trump is keeping his eye on the ball in the face of possible jail time. No, he’s not focusing like a laser beam on Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. He’s insinuating Ron DeSantis is gay. [Tweet] Those are just two of the posts Trump put on on Desantis on Monday. His sons also spent

Costello told the FOX News audience that he testified for two hours in front of Alvin Bragg’s Manhattan Grand Jury.

This is the dramatic moment a Russian fighter jet intercepted a pair of US nuclear bombers over the Baltic Sea, just days after an American drone was downed.
Russia's defence ministry said a single Su-35 was scrambled to meet the B-52 strategic bombers that were flying in the direction of the Russian border on Monday, but that it returned to base after they moved away.
The development came as Moscow said it had flown two of its own nuclear bombers over the Sea of Japan for more than seven hours, in a statement released as Japan's prime minister was beginning a surprise visit to Ukraine -

Incredulity. Astonishment. Disgust. Anger.
It is these feelings – amongst others – that describe the general reaction to the revelations of the Twitter Files and other egregious episodes of Big Tech censorship of the electronic public square.
The implicit deal with companies like Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc., is very simple: we will look at your ads if you give us a service for free. The deal did not include censorship.
But what is society to expect when those doing the censoring seem to see absolutely nothing wrong with it, that it didn’t even occur to them that what they were engaged in –

On Monday, March 20, District Judge Cormac Carney in Santa Anna, California struck down the state’s Handgun Roster gun control law finding it violated the right to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
This is the latest blow to gun control advocates striking down state gun laws following a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in 2022 expanding gun rights. The repeal will take effect fourteen days following the ruling.California’s Unsafe Handgun Act required all new semiautomatic handguns sold to Californians to have unique safety features not required in other states effectively freezing the technology available and preventing handgun modern safer handguns designs from

A couple of National Hockey League players have refused to be bullied into wearing pride jerseys during pregame warmups and much of the response has been madness – and worse. It’s another sign that Western culture is in a steep decline.
In 1980’s “The Sweater,” an animated short that gets its title from the traditional term for a hockey jersey in Canada, a boy in Quebec accidentally receives a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey rather than the Montreal Canadiens No. 9 Maurice Richard jersey that his mother had ordered, and the jersey all his friends wear. As a Quebecois, he is humiliated

While it may look like the United States is being tough and forceful in Ukraine, the reverse is true. The US is showing incredible weakness, and it is wearing it on its sleeve.
Let's start with Ukraine. The US has gone all out to try and help Ukraine win a victory over the Russians. The Biden administration wants this to happen for two reasons: to show that Biden is not a wimp and won't cut and run like he did in Afghanistan and that he wants to "strengthen" NATO by eventually putting a NATO army in Ukraine.

The Supreme Court on Monday struck down a federal court ruling upholding the right for a minor to go to court to get permission to undergo an abortion, with Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson penning a solo dissent in the case.
The ruling from the court on Monday vacated a lower court ruling that a state court clerk could be sued for telling a pregnant teenager that the court must notify her parents of her attempt to get a court order to allow her to obtain an abortion without the consent of her parents.
Jackson’s dissent focused on the use of Munsingwear vacatur, in which a case is vacated

Because honest to goodness, it sure seems like we’re doing both and at a cyclic rate.
Monies upon monies. It’s not like we’re in any money trouble ourselves, but the clowns at the Treasury and Fed will just keep printing what Biden needs to cover his butt.
When it comes to ammo and equipment, that’s a horse of a different color entirely. Those have to be procured and manufactured – two things we have sincere difficulties with these days.
Just today, this popped up in my Twitter feed. Oh, “just another [insert: hundred million dollar multiple]” – no bigs, especially since it’s weapons, not like actual cash or anything.

The massive Los Angeles Unified School District will be closed Tuesday – and possibly Wednesday and Thursday – because of a planned strike by tens of thousands of teachers and other school employees.
"All schools across LAUSD will be closed tomorrow," Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, leader of the nation's second-largest school district, said at a Monday afternoon news conference. "Tomorrow will be a difficult day." Carvalho, who oversees about 600,000 students at more than 1,000 schools, expressed frustration with the union representing workers including bus drivers, custodians, cafeteria workers, campus security and teaching assistants. The union said talks with the school district broke down Monday
