A Failed Presidency In 20 Seconds

Yesterday Joe Biden made the mistake of listening to a question from a reporter at the White House, and briefly trying to answer. I understand that the reporter was from another country; I don’t suppose a liberal American “reporter” would be so bold as to question Slow Joe on the subject of his China connections: Two points to note. First, even in this very brief clip, Biden’s mental and physical incapacity are on display. He may only be 80 years old, but he is an old 80. Second, Biden answers “It’s not true.” But it is true. A single Chinese entity paid Biden’s family well over $1 million.

Joe Biden has been a failed representative of humanity for a long time. Even Barack Obama, the illegal president from Kenya that was maybe elected in 2008 told Joe not to run. The sad part is that the bench behind Joe Biden contained nothing better. Lesser crooks, dullards and traitors are what makes up the higher echelons of the democrat party. They NEEDED to cheat in 2020 to get this buffoon into the Oval Office. His results have been worse than expected.

It's not just a failed executive office occupied by an utter unworthy; it's a failed, criminal, grifting existence oiled by lucre from shadowy characters who are either foreign competitors or outright enemies. If the Republic manages to survive, future historians will blacken the Bidens' Christmas, as well as the rest of their days. There have been other corrupt characters in the Executive mansion--most notably the odious LBJ and both Clintons--but Americans will eventually have to know in detail how a public servant who never worked in the private sector managed to own three choice properties, including one of the DuPont houses. Although there's yet much digging to do, it appears that the Chicoms might have paid the Big Guy and family over $30 million. And they grifted from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and who knows who else. Let the sunshine in.

Minneapolis — As head of PAWS Atlanta, Joe Labriola can get a good sense of the region’s economic well-being from the day-to-day activity of the city’s oldest no-kill animal shelter. Through the course of the past year, it’s become increasingly clear to him that people in the area are struggling under the weight of inflation and economic uncertainty. Practically the entirety of the daily call volume consists of requests to rehome pets. The shelter’s “surrender queue” is full, awaiting adoptions to free up space in the main shelter. And the shelves at PAWS Atlanta’s Pet Food Pantry quickly go bare. But perhaps the most heartbreaking indicator is something this particular shelter never

Handgun Regulation

A federal judge on Monday blocked enforcement of a decades-old California law that requires newly developed handguns to have particular safety features, ruling the regulation overly stringent and a violation of the Second Amendment. California’s Unsafe Handgun Act, enacted in 2001, aims to prevent accidental discharges through various safety standards. The legislation mandates that certain handguns have a chamber-load indicator and a magazine-disconnect mechanism that prevents a handgun from being fired if the magazine is not fully inserted. To assist with gun-crime investigations, the firearms also must have a microstamping mechanism, which allows the transfer of microscopic imprints of the handgun’s make, model, and serial number onto shell casings

Two no-confidence votes against French President Emmanuel Macron's government have failed in the country's parliament, clearing the way for his hugely unpopular pension reforms to be implemented and sparking new protests in Paris. The government triggered special constitutional powers last Thursday to push through controversial legislation that would raise the age of retirement from 62 to 64 for most workers. Lawmakers critical of the move called the no-confidence votes that were held on Monday. The first motion was brought forward by the small parliamentary group "LIOT," which represents various small parties, and was seen as the most likely of the two to threaten the government.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden issued the first veto of his presidency Monday in an early sign of shifting White House relations with the new Congress since Republicans took control in January. He’s seeking to kill a Republican measure that bans the government from considering environmental impacts or potential lawsuits when making investment decisions for Americans’ retirement plans. It’s just the latest manifestation of the new relationship, and Biden is gearing up for even bigger fights with Republicans on government spending and raising the nation’s debt limit in the next few months.

Former President Donald Trump's closest supporters are raging against his likely 2024 rival, Ron DeSantis, after the Florida governor broke his silence to deliver what they believed to be milquetoast remarks ahead of Trump's likely indictment by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office later this week. Speaking at a news conference Monday, DeSantis stressed he had yet to hear any facts about Trump's potential arrest over his role in a scheme to pay off former sexual partners for their silence in the heat of the 2016 election cycle—an alleged violation of New York campaign finance laws. He then accused the prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, of being backed by liberal megadonor

JPMorgan Chase is advising embattled First Republic Bank on strategic alternatives, sources told CNBC's David Faber. The alternatives may include a capital raise, the sources said, which could dilute current shareholders. A sale of the bank is also a possibility. First Republic shares were last down 30% in a volatile session. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier that JPMorgan and its CEO Jamie Dimon was working with others in the industry for a solution for the bank, whose shares are down 87% this month. JPMorgan and 10 other banks announced last week that they were depositing a combined $30 billion in First Republic,

When law is tossed out the window, is anybody surprised that chaos follows? That's apparently what we have in the Manhattan district attorney's office, where Soros-financed District Attorney Alvin Bragg is reportedly presiding over a chaotic shambles in the wake of news that his men intend to indict President Trump on politicized charges. Banana republic politics, banana republic office, just like what you might find in places like Caracas or Managua. The root of it seems to be in Bragg's stated Trump-hate, which he openly campaigned on when he ran for office in Manhattan. That's actually illegal, but the matter was ignored by voters. He’s trying to virtue signal for his base. I’ve got real issues I got to deal with here in the state of Florida.”

Amazon will lay off 9,000 more employees in the coming weeks, CEO Andy Jassy said in a memo to staff on Monday. The cuts are on top of the previously announced layoffs that began in November and extended into January. That round affected more than 18,000 employees. Amazon made the decision to lay off more employees as it looks to streamline costs. It took into account the economy, as well as the "uncertainty that exists in the near future," Jassy said. The company just wrapped up the second phase of its annual budgeting process, referred to internally as "OP2." "The overriding tenet of our annual planning this year

The request comes amidst a banking crisis that started earlier this month with the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and then Signature Bank. The group wrote: “Doing so [insuring all deposits] will immediately halt the exodus of deposits from smaller banks, stabilize the banking sector and greatly reduce chances of more bank failures,”

The Florida governor made the comments Monday after Trump's inner circle criticized him for staying silent on claims the former president will be arrested in the Stormy Daniels hush money case on Tuesday. It offers a dilemma to Trump's likely rivals for the Republican 2024 nomination: Do they take the opportunity to bash the former president for his indiscretions, or do they steer clear for fear of alienating the vocal, restless party base?
