If you were one of those people hoping that the presidential primary season would hold off a few more months, I regret to inform you that the gloves are good and fully off.
Donald Trump has been savaging Ron DeSantis (up to and including suggesting he’s a pedophile) for months, but up to this point, the Florida governor had held his fire. That is no more after DeSantis did an interview with Fox Nation in which he finally responded to some of Trump’s jabs.
It’s only March, so I’m going to do my best to not get in the weeds yet. There will be a time for choosing eventually, but for now,

You’ve likely seen the videos by now: People — husks of people, really — slumped over, in a stupor, looking for all the world like zombies. Scenes like those shown in this video from WPIX in New York: We’ve seen the stories of massive amounts of fentanyl seized at our porous southern border… and the alarming uptick in overdose rates.
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) held a press conference with Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) in early March to announce his intention to introduce legislation that would designate Mexican drug cartels as “Foreign Terrorist Organizations,” setting the stage for the use of U.S. military force to combat them, noting:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that cases of a deadly fungus tripled in the United States from 2019 to 2021. The fungus, Candida aurist, has caused illness and death since it was first detected in the United States. The CDC rates it as an “urgent threat”, the highest level of concern.
There are three reasons the CDC has rated the fungus with its highest level of concern- it is multidrug-resistant, it spreads easily in healthcare facilities, and it can cause severe, invasive infections with high mortality rates. The authors of the CDC report wrote that the fungus “has continued to cause illness and death

Prosecutors in the special counsel's office have presented compelling preliminary evidence that former President Donald Trump knowingly and deliberately misled his own attorneys about his retention of classified materials after leaving office, a former top federal judge wrote Friday in a sealed filing, according to sources who described its contents to ABC News.
U.S. Judge Beryl Howell, who on Friday stepped down as the D.C. district court's chief judge, wrote last week that prosecutors in special counsel Jack Smith's office had made a "prima facie showing that the former president had committed criminal violations," according to the sources, and that attorney-client privileges

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has finally taken the gloves off and launched a blistering attack on his former mentor President Donald Trump.
In an exclusive wide-ranging interview with me airing on Fox Nation’s “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Thursday, he said “stay tuned” about his widely expected announcement that he’s running for president and declared: I have what it takes to be president and I can beat Biden. But it’s what he said about Trump that will ignite a firestorm in the Republican Party.
For months, DeSantis has said nothing as Trump’s escalated his verbal attacks on him, branding his ex-protégé “Ron DeSanctimonious” and “Meatball Ron.”
On Monday, Trump went nuts

A recent report from the Wall Street Journal claims that web-tracking code from TikTok’s parent company ByteDance has been discovered on 30 state government websites across 27 U.S. states.
The Wall Street Journal reports that according to the cybersecurity company Feroot Security, web-tracking code created by TikTok’s parent company ByteDance has been discovered on 30 U.S. state government websites spread across 27 states. The code, known as tracking pixels, raises concerns about the app’s ties to the Chinese government by indicating that U.S. state governments are taking part in a data collection effort for a foreign-owned company.

Governor Ron DeSantis (R., Fl.) told Piers Morgan in an interview that he believes he can prevail over Donald Trump and lead the Republican Party to victory in the 2024 presidential election over President Joe Biden.
“I can win [the] presidency,” the Florida governor told Piers Morgan in an exclusive interview that aired Tuesday afternoon.
Although DeSantis alluded to challenging Trump for the Republican presidential nomination, the governor explained that much of his attention will be geared towards President Biden.
“If I were to run, I’m running against Biden,” DeSantis said. “Ultimately you know the guy I’m gonna focus on is Biden because I think he’s failed

As Tuesday winds down, it’s becoming clear that the arrest of Donald Trump isn’t going to happen as originally proclaimed on the former president’s Truth Social feed. A new exclusive from The Daily Mail is providing fresh details.
According to the report, Trump is expected to be indicted on Wednesday after a final witness appears before the grand jury. The Daily Mail makes it sound definitive in its headline, but the fact that there’s still outstanding testimony to present gives me pause.
Donald Trump will likely be indicted on Wednesday but won’t appear before a judge in New York until next week, DailyMail.com has learned.

Go woke, go broke, go home. Multiple sources report that ESPN, the worldwide leader in woke sports, will soon lay off many members of its work force. Nearly every person working at ESPN is vulnerable in the bloodletting to come during the next few weeks.
Believe me, I don’t wish for anyone to get laid off or to lose the ability to provide for their family. However, ESPN made its bed with wokeness and paying exorbitant prices for broadcasting rights. The network chose to pay Stephen A. Smith $12 million for his lefty rants on the First Take program, and even he is said to be

Writer David Goldman, who writes as the brilliant "Spengler" at Asia Times, foresees an ending of sorts to the Ukraine conflict, based on the West's inability to supply the resources to keep an extended war coming.
In his latest Asia Times piece, he noted the private thinking going on of people who make up the foreign policy community:
A gloomy assessment of Ukraine’s prospects for victory against Russia emerged from a recent private gathering of former top US soldiers, intelligence officials and scholars with resumes reaching from the Reagan to the Trump administrations.
Short of trained personnel and ammunition, one speaker argued, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky might consider a Chinese peace plan,

The Supreme Court on Monday struck down a federal court ruling upholding the right for a minor to go to court to get permission to undergo an abortion, with Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson penning a solo dissent in the case.
The ruling from the court on Monday vacated a lower court ruling that a state court clerk could be sued for telling a pregnant teenager that the court must notify her parents of her attempt to get a court order to allow her to obtain an abortion without the consent of her parents.
Jackson’s dissent focused on the use of Munsingwear vacatur, in which a case is vacated

Because honest to goodness, it sure seems like we’re doing both and at a cyclic rate.
Monies upon monies. It’s not like we’re in any money trouble ourselves, but the clowns at the Treasury and Fed will just keep printing what Biden needs to cover his butt.
When it comes to ammo and equipment, that’s a horse of a different color entirely. Those have to be procured and manufactured – two things we have sincere difficulties with these days.
Just today, this popped up in my Twitter feed. Oh, “just another [insert: hundred million dollar multiple]” – no bigs, especially since it’s weapons, not like actual cash or anything.
In actual fact,
