President Joe Biden told Polish President Andrzej Duda that he wanted to add a 'ski' to his last name as a kid, because he grew up surrounded by so many Polish immigrants.
Biden talked about his Delaware upbringing during a bilateral meeting Tuesday with Duda at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, as he kicked off the pre-planned portion of his Poland trip, which is to mark the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
On Monday, Biden turned up in Kyiv to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, after taking a secret flight to a Polish border town and then a 10-hour train ride into Ukraine's capital city.

Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH) said Tuesday on FNC’s “Special Report” that Americans were “moving on” from former President Donald Trump in the 2024 Republican primary.
Sununu said, “The race for president hasn’t really started. No one’s really thinking that way. Remember, we’re just coming out of November of ’22. And, you and I are in this world talking about it all the time, but the average American, they’re dealing with inflation, they’re dealing with high housing prices, record debt at the household level.”
He continued, “And look, my message to, about President Trump is we thank you for your service. Great, but we’re moving on.

The grisly scene where a top Bill Clinton adviser was found hanged from a tree with a gunshot wound to his chest has finally been revealed nine months after he died.
But the sheriff's report into Mark Middleton's mysterious death raises more questions than answers as it rules he died by suicide – despite no sign of the weapon that killed him.
Middleton, 59, was found dead last May at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, an hour west of Little Rock.
Release of the report was held up after members of his family petitioned a judge. They were worried that pictures from the gory scene would be made public.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Tuesday spoke to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos about the Ohio train derailment and toxic disaster.
Buttigieg still hasn’t visited East Palestine.
Biden is too busy hanging out with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“About 50 cars, including 10 carrying hazardous materials, derailed in a fiery crash on Feb. 3 in East Palestine, Ohio. Vinyl chloride was later released into the air from five of those cars before crews ignited it to get rid of the highly flammable, toxic chemicals in a controlled environment, creating a dark plume of smoke.”

Last month, I wrote about how House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced he was open to releasing all the security footage from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, all 14,000 hours of it, which Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) never wanted to release in the presentation of their political narrative during their witch hunt Jan. 6 Committee proceedings.
Now, the reports are that he’s made good on that and released 14,000 hours to Tucker Carlson and his crew, that they’re reviewing it, and that there may be even more footage. Carlson said there was never any valid reason to withhold this footage and that it would begin airing in the coming weeks.

How is American education going? In at least one blue midwestern state, not well.
Nonprofit research organization Wirepoint has looked into Illinois public schools, and their performance deserves less than an “A+.” Among more than 30 institutions of learning, zero students can read at their respective grade levels.
As for math, across 53 schools, no students are proficient.
The bulk of those underperforming campuses — twenty-two in the case of reading and thirty-three in the case of math — sit within the City of Chicago School District — where taxpayers annually spend between $5,929 and $56,311 per student.

Under cover of darkness, Joe Biden has suddenly turned up in Kyiv.
As in, brave, brave, brave, brave, Joe Biden ... he was not afraid to die, oh, brave Joe Biden. (Snip for Monty Python video clip) Which is about par for him, given that he's taken grandstanding congressional trips to places like Afghanistan, where he's come back with tales of himself as a hero.
Bravest of the brave Joe Biden...
According to the Daily Mail:
President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv on Monday morning on a surprise days before the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and declared that Vladimir Putin had failed in his 'war of conquest.'

A private school in Pennsylvania is employing a “sexuality curriculum” that includes graphic images and video of genitals and sexual acts.
Teacher Al Vernacchio is an English teacher at Friends’ Central School in Wynnewood, PA. He also coordinates programs and assemblies centered on sexuality. The content goes far beyond the biological aspects of sexual education. Vernacchio says children are inherently sexual beings and he thinks sex education classes should be “transformative.” [Video]
In an article for Philadelphia Magazine in 2018, Vernacchio told a reporter he fears easy access to pornography has perverted views of sex for many teens. His solution not to restrict pornography,

No wonder the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is so confident they can win a war against the United States. The Biden regime is so clueless they cannot even properly secure sensitive military information.
For two full weeks an unsecured Department of Defense (DOD) server was leaking military emails online and no one noticed until Monday. The culprit was a so-called misconfiguration that left the server without a password.
The server was loaded with files containing sensitive personnel information from the past several years, including a completed SF-86 questionnaire. A SF-86 personnel questionnaire has bountiful amounts of background information on security clearance holders valuable to enemies of America.

NEW YORK -- CNN anchor Don Lemon will return to work Wednesday and will receive “formal training” in the aftermath of his on-air comments about Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, network CEO Chris Licht said in an email to employees Monday night.
The memo, obtained by The Associated Press, did not specify the training. Licht added that it was important to him that the network “balances accountability with … fostering a culture in which people can own, learn and grow from their mistakes.”
Lemon has not been on the air since Thursday, when he said the 51-year-old Haley was not “in her prime” during the broadcast of “CNN This Morning.” Lemon and

Once upon a time we mocked the Soviet Union for its gerontocracy. Aged party leaders, bundled up in overcoats and fur hats to the point of near-unrecognizability, would be wheeled out to sit, immobile, as parades passed or party congresses opened. Their withered, stale leadership was emblematic of the decaying USSR’s withered, stale ideology — and industrial base.
But now the joke’s on us. A leading United States senator, Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), can’t seem to remember important things, like her just-taken vote on a judicial nominee and her just-announced retirement. “Did I vote for that?” she asked an aide Wednesday, moments after leaving the chamber.

The White House said Wednesday it moved one step closer to meeting its offshore wind energy goals by announcing the first lease sale for developments in the Gulf of Mexico.
President Joe Biden set a goal of having 30 gigawatts of offshore wind installed by 2030, with another 15 GW coming from floating turbine installations by 2035. To reach that goal, the administration said it opened its first lease sale for offshore wind in the Gulf of Mexico.
Three lease areas off Texas and Louisiana could support the development of enough wind energy to meet the demands of nearly 1.3 million average households, the White House in a fact sheet.
