It's been days since President Joe Biden directed the Pentagon to shootdown a number of "objects" he claims were a threat to U.S. airspace and commercial aircraft. There are no photos of the "objects," which White House officials say cannot be classified as balloons, and still no recovered debris after they were reportedly taken out by F-16 pilots using $400,000 missiles. Rail company Norfolk Southern ran scared of a town hall meeting in East Palestine tonight because officials 'were afraid for their safety' following the chemical train derailment disaster.
Representatives were due to attend to help explain what happened and how they could repair the devastation - and soothe fears of potential long term health problems including cancer.
But the town's mayor Trent Conaway revealed just before the packed meeting at the local high school: 'The people want answers. I want answers.
'Norfolk Southern didn't show up.'
Asked why, he said: 'Because they are scared for their safety.'
FBI agents conducted two searches at the University of Delaware as part of an investigation into President Joe Biden's handling of classified documents and there is some mystery about what they found.
Agents reportedly carried out the searches at the college, which is Biden's alma mater, in late January and early February, according to CBS News, but the documents removed from the premises by the FBI did not appear to have classified markings.
Agents retrieved materials from two locations and the FBI is in the process of reviewing them. The University of Delaware houses material from Biden's time in the U.S. Senate and
Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) are demanding an investigation into reports that U.S.-backed entities funded a foreign think tank that is trying to blacklist and defund conservative media outlets.

Wait, did I say Nikki Harris? I meant Nikki Haley, but it's an understandable mistake. After all, as a good friend deep in politics recently pointed out to me, Nikki Haley is the Kamala Harris of the Republican Party. And now Nikki says she wants to be president, announcing her doomed candidacy with hilariously hackneyed and overwrought fanfare ("Now is the time for a strong and proud America!"), though everyone with half a cerebral cortex can see that she's really just trying to position herself as the vice-presidential nominee when either Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis gets the nomination.

There were two things that I missed during Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The first was Kansas City’s game-winning drive, which saw kicker Harrison Butker seal the underdog Chiefs’ 38-35 victory with a last-second field goal. My inattention was unintentional; my daughter, in the throes of a stomach flu that’s currently working its way through the family, decided to decorate our floor as the game came down to the wire. A stunning new report has determined that students at 55 different schools throughout the city of Chicago are failing so badly that not a single student can do basic reading or math.

U.S. intelligence officials were tracking the spy balloon that was shot down earlier this month since it lifted off from the south coast of China, U.S. officials said Tuesday.
According to U.S. officials, after takeoff, the spy balloon drifted east in the direction of Guam and Hawaii and then went north to Alaska and entered U.S. airspace on Jan. 28. Given the path, it's possible that the balloon was blown off course by weather, but U.S. officials said that once it came south over the continental United States, it was being controlled by China.

U.S. military and intelligence agencies tracked the Chinese spy balloon for nearly a week before it violated American airspace last month, according to a new report.
As the U.S. monitored the balloon, it appeared headed for the U.S. territory of Guam. But the balloon was seemingly blown off course and instead ended up over Alaska’s Aleutian Islands before ultimately floating over the continental United States, the Washington Post reported.
