A "high-altitude object" has been shot down over Alaska in the past hour, the White House has said.
Spokesman John Kirby said the object was "the size of a small car" and was over a sparsely populated area at the time.
President Joe Biden took the decision to shoot down the object, which was of unknown origin, Mr Kirby said.
It comes after the US shot down a Chinese balloon over its territorial waters last Saturday. Speaking at the White House on Friday, Mr Kirby explained that the object over Alaska was travelling at 40,000ft and could have posed a threat to civilian aircraft.
He added that its debris field was

I do not believe this. This is to show Biden as a strong leader after the debacle with the spy balloon. This was created to help with his approval numbers. Or we sent something up just so it could be shot down by our brave and decisive president just protecting his country.

We should no longer give this administration the benefit of the doubt. I don't believe this, or really much of anything out of their mouths. They lie every day, every hour, every minute. As Church lady said, "How conveeeeenient."

This thing is described only as an object at 40,000 feet.. An "object" that's been active since at least Thursday evening. So, what is it?

Having been awakened by the unfortunate event of the Chinese spy balloon, the administration decided that it better get to acting busy in order to protect their phony baloney jobs. It was unfortunate that a goose had to be shot down as a sacrifice.

So now they're shooting down things in the sky left and right. The communists are racking up murders by the tens of thousands, so I wouldn't be surprised if they mistakenly shoot down and passenger plane or two. A small car falling from the car in pieces is a big deal, Kirby. Every time I see him on TV I think pervert; something's not right about that man.

Ok - out of an abundance of caution, why not fly up and take a look. Certainly we have military aircraft that could get close enough to take a few pictures. If it posed a ‘danger’ to commercial aviation it couldn’t have been out of reach of our military.

As the were loading the man into the ambulance he was mumbling something that sounded like "Flubber."

Knowing this administration, I'm inclined to doubt that anything happened. Has anybody shown some evidence of the incident? The "UFO" ? Not even the debris? The story remains squarely in the realm of rumor until somebody shows something to confirm it.

Funny, only yesterday a Pentagon spokesperson gave reasons why they wouldn't shoot down anything over those remote, cold and deep Alaskan waters.
It's anothet gang that couldn't shoot straight operation . Which reminds me. I need to order ammo for the guns I lost in that deep lake fishing accident.

I’ll withhold my speculation on this. It could be an errant weather balloon from a friendly country. It could also be another Chinese spy balloon with the CCP thinking that FJB would allow another one to traverse the country before shooting it down off the SC coast. If he let one go unmolested, why not send a dozen or more?

Just for the sake of argument, we’ll pretend that everyone (EVERYONE) hasn’t figured it out already. I’ll explain it. #1 #2, #7, #9, and #35 are correct. I have a hunch that whoever’s pulling the strings and trying to make the Biden Administration look at least semi-sentient, decided to launch something, anything, so Traitor Joe could give the order to “shoot it down!” over Alaska and look decisive. Keep it low, nothing over 40,000’. Keep it small, nothing larger that a couple of half-Volkswagens. Make sure it’s unmanned. (Why the heck can’t we use units of measure anymore? Last week’s 200” tall ballon was “about 3 school buses.” Today’s was “a small car.” Remember feet, yards, and meters? They’ll still work, y’all.) Did the plan work? No. He’s still “Weekend at Bernie’s” without the fun friends. To paraphrase #1, it won’t be long till we shoot something important, or worse, something that shoots back. But no more homemade decoy balloons, please. And may God continue to bless America!
