Washington - The U.S. military on Saturday shot down a suspected Chinese spy balloon off the Carolina coast after it traversed sensitive military sites across North America. China insisted the flyover was an accident involving a civilian aircraft and threatened repercussions.
President Joe Biden issued the order but had wanted the balloon downed even earlier, on Wednesday. He was advised that the best time for the operation would be when it was over water, U.S. officials said. Military officials determined that bringing it down over land from an altitude of 60,000 feet would pose an undue risk to people on the ground. China responded

They allowed the CCP to photograph (and whatever else) the entire country, then transmit the data--and finally they shot it down. President Xi is sending a thank-you note with a large check inside.

So someone advised him that it would be best to POINTLESSLY bring the thing down over water...AFTER it had traversed the entire US from coat to coast??? After it had seen all the sights it needed to observe...Where did we find these advisers, these experts, these MORONS?!

Biden shot it down because it was drifting toward Ukraine.

The Chinese aren't stupid and it was never stealthy. They knew it MAY be shot down by Brandon and the Pentagon, so they've already gotten what they were looking for.

And the U.S. fails another Chinese test of our response to attack. Then on the other hand, maybe the whole thing was to see if Joey would really keep his end of the quid pro quo bargain he and Huner entered so many years ago with the CCP..

The balloon was nothing more than a red herring. They wanted to know what The United States ruling class would do about them sending weather balloons? over our territory.
They have satellites which can read the fine print on a pack of cigarettes from space, what’s a balloon?

Xi should claim the balloon was just a creative way for him to return a bunch of classified documents Biden gave him, which have been stored in his garage. We'd never be able to prove him wrong, would we?

So....our worthless govt, led by Boy Dementia, spots the balloon before it reaches the continental US, allows it to fly over the entire country while NOT knowing what was contained, then shoots it down with a damn missile over the Atlantic, creating a 7 mile debris field ? Can our govt be any more inept ? Or is it corrupt ? We will NEVER be told the truth as to what was on the balloon.

What B.S.. If the estimate that the balloon was the size of about three semi's was correct, then the balloon with its contents was less than 10 pounds. Less than a goose.
