Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke (R) called the Biden administration allowing the Chinese to float a spy balloon into the United States’s airspace “an embarrassment.”
“I think it’s an embarrassment that we took no action, not even diplomatically and say, you know, ‘Warning, warning warning, don’t do this. We’re gonna follow it,'” he told Breitbart News on Friday in an exclusive phone interview.
“But just to have it drift up here, and for days loitering — I think it shows that we are ineffective,” he said.
A senior defense official told reporters Thursday said the military considered shooting it down as it drifted over “sparsely populated areas in Montana,” but that, “we just couldn’t

George Washington University has installed a morning-after pill vending machine on campus in a bid to make products more accessible to young women.
The institution, based in Washington, D.C., has started selling the emergency contraceptive pills following a student-led campaign.
The machine dispenses Plan B pills for $30 each as well as feminine products such as tampons and other healthcare items like Advil.
It has been installed in the basement of the student center in a conscious effort to make it more discrete for users.

Montana is famed for its empty plains, wild river canyons and its status as home to one of the nation's three publicly known large-scale nuclear missile silos.
So when a suspected Chinese spy balloon was spotted loitering in the air of the 'big sky state' it was not long before analysts suggested its most likely target: Malmstrom Air Force Base, which has been dubbed America's 'doomsday' base.
'Montana plays a vital national security role by housing nuclear missile silos at Malmstrom AFB,' state senator Steve Daines wrote in a letter to the Pentagon, raising the alarm on Thursday.
Its location in the west of the country meant the air base was marked out in the 1950s

An explosion in the sky over Billings Montana, where a Chinese spy balloon has been flying over the region, was caught on camera Friday.
Mysterious video of the aftermath shows a trail of smoke in the sky where the balloon was last spotted.
Dolly Moore, who took video of the scene, said she 'saw a jet go by so fast and then explosion in the sky.'
As the video spread on social media, Defense officials have said the balloon over Montana has not exploded.
It comes after the US State Department called the balloon, which was traveling over U.S. airspace at 60,000 feet, a 'clear violation' of U.S. sovereignty,

The Nigerian husband of slain New Jersey Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour — who was gunned down Wednesday night near her Sayreville home — made a bizarre Facebook post Friday morning wishing his deceased wife a happy birthday, even though it’s still more than a month away.
“4th March is your birthday happy glorious birthday in addy my love,” wrote Dwumfour’s husband, who works as a pastor and identifies himself by the name Eze Kings on the social media site.
He punctuated the post with a series of hearts, and attached about a dozen photos of the couple which prominently featured Dwumfour’s wedding ring.

Republicans have issued a subpoena to FBI Director Christopher Wray asking him to testify on the federal government targeting concerned parents in school board meetings during the pandemic.
With the weight of a subpoena, the House Judiciary Committee ordered Wray to appear before the panel and turn over documents and communications related to the FBI's 'misuse of federal criminal and counterterrorism resources.'
Committee Chair Rep. Jim Jordan also wants all documents related to meetings he held in relation to Attorney General Merrick Garland's memo directing the FBI and U.S. attorneys to identify protesting parents for prosecution, according to a copy of the document reviewed by DailyMail.com.

Former Pentagon officials have been left scratching their heads by the Biden administration's decision not to neutralize a Chinese spy balloon floating over U.S. mainland.
David Stillwell, who served as Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs under the Trump administration, told DailyMail.com the balloon was likely form of mind game by Beijing ahead of the meeting between Sec. Antony Blinken and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
'This demonstrates a common tactic by Beijing to test others before important meetings.'
He noted that in 2007 the Chinese shot an anti-satellite weapon before then-Defense Sec. Robert Gates arrived in the nation. The U.S. didn't cancel, but 'should have,' Stillwell said.

The left-wing media is out with a report claiming that former President Donald Trump has far less money at his immediate disposal than it appears.
“That bottom line was reflected in new documents filed last week by New York Attorney General Letitia James in her $250 million fraud lawsuit against Trump, three of his adult children, and his businesses,” The Daily Beast reported Wednesday.
“Those documents show that Trump—a billionaire on paper—only had control over about $65 million in liquid assets as he prepared to depart the White House,” the far-left outlet added.
While that’s a lot of money to the average American, it’s nothing to a multibillionaire.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Friday delivered remarks on the US economy from the Belmont Water Treatment Center in Philadelphia.
Biden was having trouble speaking during his remarks.
His cognitive decline is rapidly accelerating.
This is one of the many reasons China is currently flying a spy balloon over the United States without fear of reprisal. The Pentagon is refusing to shoot down the high-altitude surveillance balloon.(Photo) Biden struggled to speak as he touted January’s cooked jobs numbers.

Republican Indiana Rep. Victoria Spartz will not seek reelection in 2024, she announced Friday.
“It’s been my honor representing Hoosiers in the Indiana State Senate and U.S. Congress and I appreciate the strong support on the ground. 2024 will mark seven years of holding elected office and over a decade in Republican politics. I won a lot of tough battles for the people and will work hard to win a few more in the next two years. However, being a working mom is tough and I need to spend more time with my two high school girls back home, so I will not run for any office in 2024,”

During a Thursday appearance on MSNBC, Washington Post columnist Matt Viser desperately tried to cover for his President, assuring the audience that there’s “nothing” on Hunter Biden’s laptop that ties Joe Biden to any wrongdoing. Yes, he actually said that with a straight face.
“We’ve spent a lot of time with [Hunter Biden’s] laptop … and there isn’t much that ties the President to any wrongdoing, which I think has got to be the focus in order to be relevant” said Viser.
WATCH: (Tweet/Video) I guess Viser isn’t aware of the many mutual business dealings that Hunter had with his father? Or the “10% to the big guy”?
