Some are saying that the death of Tyre Nichols was due to “bad policing” or perhaps affirmative action hiring.
Neither is truly the main reason.
The Tyre Nichols tragedy was due to a spiritual void where the perpetrators have no conscience.
You don’t behave so viciously toward anyone unless you have it in your soul, your being, to be that way. And because the human race is fallen, deeply prone to bad behavior, born to be bad, so to speak, human beings default to that evil fallen state.

I don’t disagree, but while we wait for everyone’s soul to be immune from all evil influences, we need institutions to regulate people’s behavior. The police function is an integral part of that. People like bidet want to destroy the police function because it is not perfect.

It is not America's spiritual crisis. It is the Democrat Party and their supporters spiritual crisis.

55% of all murders are committed by 12% of the population. If these thugs weren't wearing a badge, they'd be on the other side of the law doing what they do.

Correction #4. 56% of all violent felonies - murder, rape, assault- are committed by black males between 18 and 40, just 3% of the population. The group from which these five come. It is THEIR culture that is at work here. Don’t blame all of America. Black mothers who worry whether their sons will come back alive from the streets share the blame too. They raise these boys to become violent men. In a way Van Jones is right. They wouldn’t dare do this to a white kid in an affluent neighborhood yards away from his parents’ house. But with a black kid they feel they get away with it. It is like blacks using the N word with impunity among themselves.

Most of us have learned to be peaceful and compassionate people. We abhor lawlessness and brutality because thats what we were taught by our parents, our teachers and our clergy.
Nevertheless, we all have the capacity to visit the most unspeakable horrors upon others. All it takes is the right straw on the camels back to bring out the caveman in us. Some take a whole lot less straws than others.

Another example of those on the right buying into the left’s narrative on a particular story. I will wait for the actual facts—ALL of the facts—to come out before I judge the situation. I do know this, however: I would never be able to do a policeman’s job.

I suppose you could blame it on the human race, but it's another race that is responsible for most of the crimes and killings in this country.
In my life I have found that if you respect the police they are more likely to respect you.

This is the "perfect storm". Black victim, all black cops, black officials. Everyone walking around wondering "what happened"? "what caused this"? Well, if one cop of any color loses it, you might understand it. "He just just snapped". I would even believe one cop and his partner. But five officers all go "rogue" at the same time? How were these individuals vetted before they were placed on the streets with badges, weapons, and authority? This was a "pack mentality". Thugs, savages. It could have been a lot worse. If the cops had been all white, cities would be burning. If the victim had been white, no burning, looting or riots. Just "oh, well", "these things happen", "if he did not resist, it would have been fine". This is way, way beyond "bad policing", "lack of training", or "racism". Those are easy answers. If you do not recruit The best men/women, pay them well, and support them this is just the beginning of similar horrors. Think about it. Respect, awe, and millions if you can throw a ball around. Disrespect, fear, loathing, lack of support, poor pay, and defunding for those who protect average Americans. They put their lives on the line for all of us - daily. Well, "the chickens are coming home to roost".

Did the police stop and think for a second about their actions might actually lead to Nichol's death? Guessing not. One thing for certain. These guys are missing something.

#12, it goes deeper than one may think. There are two passages that I have come across in the footnotes of my Bible and one of them is titled: "Coping With Competition" - it is lengthy but it makes a good point. Here it is: "Overcoming the natural tendencies of a competitive spirit takes supernatural intervention. It must be a constant petition to God. A competitive spirit is often fed by a dissatisfied spirit. If we learn to accept God's place and plan for us, we won't need to compare ourselves with someone else. Having developed the use of gifts with humble service as our goal, we will be able to serve quietly without envying. We will be able to work in the church nursery in a spirit of service and contentment rather than wishing we were gifted like the person who leads a large Bible class. Servants in either situation can feel confident and grateful for the opportunity to serve God wherever he has placed them. The bottom line may be our willingness to forget about who gets the glory for our service - ourselves or God. Certainly, when we learn to hand the bouquets back to God, we won't need to compare ourselves with anyone else."
The other passage is this: "Unborn generations are depending on our faithfulness today. As we teach our children about the Lord, so they will teach their children and their children's children. If we fail to tell our children about the Lord, we may well be breaking the chain of God's influence in generations to come. We must view our children and all the young people we meet as God's future leaders. If we are faithful in opportunities today, we may well be affecting the future."
Everyday the headlines remind me of these two passages. More and more, God is NOT getting the glory and God is being removed from people's everyday lives. The Greatest Commandment is a commandment to live by: Love God with all your heart, mind, soul and love your neighbor as yourself.
It would seem that the people trying to remove God as authority are truly affecting the influence that God could have in a person's life.

Half of the country has no respect for life. You'll have a hard time even joining the Democrat party if you respect life.

It is mentioned here that it was the perfect storm heavily black populated Menphis, black city officials, black policemen, black victim what could go so wrong. Not a white person involved so what is the problem. Nichols should have been fine with being stopped by people of his own race and not a group of racist white cops, right? Why did Nichols decide to run instead only to be caught then beat down? There's more to this incident than we know just like the sainted George Floyd was the perfect citizen and white cops got out of hand.

I wondered what was going on when I saw the one kicking the victim in the head. Have seen that so much in the videos shot in NYC when the blacks knock people down and kick them in the head and body. I couldn't believe I saw a cop doing it.
