Who leaked the Supreme Court’s draft decision on Dobbs, the case that overturned Roe? It’s been the biggest political whodunit in years, with scores of potential perps. We have waited since early May to discover the identity of the thief and the true motive for leaking it out.
Chief Justice John Roberts promised a thorough investigation to get to the bottom of the crime. What did he find out? Well … it was an inside job — which everyone pretty much assumed from the start.
And that’s pretty much it. The court threw its hands in the air just a few minutes ago, apparently for good:
The Supreme Court announced

If you are powerful enough and have the funds you can compromise the SCOTUS.

I thought this would happen. In effect, they’re saying “we know who did it - we just don’t have enough evidence to prove it.”
My money is STILL on the Wide Latina.

this stinks as bad as any of the Clinton "suicide" victims that haven't been found yet, plus this has been far from a stellar few years for the supremes, Clarence Thomas an exception, of course

Sargent Schultz (of the I see nothing defense) would be proud to see his defense still being used...years after his death.
I also think it was the Wise,Wide, Diabetic Latina responsible... I think they are trying to move her out so FJB can get another SCOTUS pick before he leaves (in disgrace) due to his classified documents scandal.

They know and have known since it happened.
This is Roberts preserving the reputation of "his" court.
IMO It wasn't a clerk, some underling, they can be sacrificed. It was a Justice.

What they REALLY were investigating is :
"Is there any way the peasantry can find out for certain who did it?, And if they do somehow find out, how can we protect ourselves from criticism?"

We asked everyone if they did it, and they all said no.
Case closed.

This is the final authority over all that is truth and justice - in whom we should place our sacred trust. Pfft. They are as soil stained as the rest of the outhouse known as DC.

I’m not surprised at all. Mist of us could have predicted this outcome. It’s the same old stuff each and every time. Our government is corrupt at every level.

Did they use a Polygraph on the suspects? Did they really want that kind of proof anyway? Roberts likely knows. Sorry, can't believe anyone in government anymore. When the "president" lies about everything, he sets the standard for others.... and they hlady take that advantage.

Whoever leaked and those behind them have been empowered by this to carry on. The future does not bode well given the leaker and handlers will go on to create more chaos.

If a munchkin in the Court’s apparat had done this, the guilty would have been rapidly identified. The present so-called outcome tells me that a heavyweight is responsible. I smell a Democrat.

Right. The decision was leaked to a couple of reporters at Politico (or the Washington Compost, can’t remember which). All the court had to do was subpoena the journalists, put them under oath and under penalty of prison time for perjury, and ask them.

Don't forget how Obama spent weeks complaining about the SCOTUS review of Obamacare after the oral arguments looked like it would be overturned. All of a sudden, Obama shut up. Someone told him that SCOTUS had voted and thanks to Roberts, wouldn't overturn it. I'm guessing one of the leftist justices clued him in.
