Democratic Colorado Gov. Jared Polis will stop sending migrants to New York City, Chicago and other major Democrat-run cities after mayors expressed outrage at the plan in recent weeks. Polis had agreed to work with local authorities in Denver to help send migrants to their final destinations. While Colorado is not a border state, it has seen a major influx of migrants seeking passage to elsewhere in the country. Mayors Eric Adams of New York City and Lori Lightfoot of Chicago called on Polis to end his assistance last week as their cities also struggle with a surge in migrants.

The Democrats created the silent invasion of illegal aliens that is ongoing into the USA. Now the wimpy Republicans should demand that the Democrats fix that situation by enforcing the immigration laws passed by Congress, and should not be caving to assist the Democrats to pass a huge amnesty or a number of amnesties designed to give the Democrats many millions of new future foreign born voters, and that will encourage and invite millions of new potential illegal aliens to surge to the U.S. borderlines.

FTA: "However, you are sending migrants and families to New York City and Chicago that do not have any ties, family members or community networks to welcome them." So what? Illegal immigration is illegal. The virtue signaling politicians, states and communities that WANT illegal immigration deserve to deal with the impact of what they've invited into their own states and communities. They are desperate to offload responsibility to other states and cities. But to be fair, the only locations that deserve endless busloads of impoverished non-citizens seeking wealth transfers from US citizens, are those that have announced they are "sanctuaries" that "welcome" illegal aliens. If sanctuary cities helped Americans, politicians who approve of putting illegal aliens FIRST while their own constituents suffer wouldn't be complaining about getting what they asked for.

"Fine", the precedent is now set . If two mega cities with multi billion$ budgets, plenty of housing, deep employment/housing resources, school infrastructure for millions of kids already in place, that ran and were elected declaring "SANCTUARY!!!", can "Balk", then every smaller place can as well. NO Illegals can be sent to ANY place without the Elected leaders of that places prior notifications and permission, must have the Mayor, council, schoolboard ,ALL on board....for every single transported individual.

I could not care less about Chicago and NYC. They have been snide in their virtue signaling for years and it is time for them to pay the piper. But Polis is a weak spined moron who probably partakes of the 'herb' that Colorado legalized.

The overall idea is that republican mayors and the people in their cities should "do their fair share." You declared yourself a sanctuary city, deal with it. America is not the soup kitchen of the world.

Sending immigrants to one or the other of our murder capitals might make a lot of them feel like they never left home. That could be helpful to their assimilation into society. The only differences would be the climate and the language.

A labor union set up a disturbing display of a casket and a photo depicting a dead person’s feet outside of a grade school in New Jersey to protest the district hiring a contractor for a construction project, which sparked the school’s superintendent to knock it over. "For the safety of the children, as the Superintendent of Schools, I really had no choice but to protect them. I responded immediately to the coffin on school property and knocked it to the ground," superintendent of Edison Township public schools, Bernard Bragen, said in a statement to Fox News.

Dr. Anthony Fauci believes the Centers for Disease Control will soon provide updated COVID-19 guidance on using face masks in outdoor settings, calling it "common sense" to do so. Face masks have taken an increasingly central role in debate lately as many question the continued and widespread use of masks even as vaccinations continue to soar nationwide. A Georgia mother went viral this week after she sounded off on her local school board continuing its mask mandate through next year. Fauci agrees with some of that thought, saying that the risk for people engaging in outdoor activities is "minuscule," especially for vaccinated individuals.

Americans are obliged to help bring more foreigners into their American society, White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters in a briefing ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting with Mexico’s president on Monday and Tuesday. “You can’t forget that … we do, as a nation of immigrants, have an obligation to provide better tools and pathways for them to come in,” Kirby told reporters in the White House. The “Nation of Immigrants” narrative was invented in the 1950s by advocates for more migration. Biden and his deputies are pushing that claim to justify their importation of more illegal migrants above the limits set by Congress.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is set to open public comment on the dangers of gas stoves sometime this winter. The commission could set standards on emissions from the gas stoves, or even look to ban the manufacture or import of the appliances, commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. told Bloomberg News. “This is a hidden hazard,” Trumka told the outlet. “Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.”

As I’ve said in the past, I’ve never been a fan of the silliness of labeling political opponents. This is not to be confused with humorous “nicknames” — the most clever of which I enjoy, and have coined a few — but rather attempting to paint an adversary into a particular corner defined by you. Third-party “you,” that is. And of course, the most popular label by far among certain factions of the Republican Party is “RINO.” The definition of “RINO” — Republican in Name Only — not only used to be easy to understand; it was easy to identify Republicans who fit the RINO mold.
