Republican Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) was projected to defeat radical Democrat Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes (D) on Thursday with 93 percent of the vote counted. The projected victory is significant victory because Wisconsin was one 21 Republican-controlled seats up for election. Democrats only had 14 seats to defend. Wisconsin, along with North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, was among the most competitive Republican seats to hold. (Tweet) Overall, the Badger State Senate race was the fifth most expensive Senate race at $185,811,066, according to Open Secrets. Barnes’s campaign spent $32,040,023 million trying to unseat Johnson.

Great news on a dismal post-election day! i don't live in WI, but as far as I am concerned Ron Johnson is the best of the lot among senators. An honest and self-made man, loves America, hardest working guy on the Hill, or so he seems to me. And as # 1 said, this race should not have even been close. There is some real sickness at work in this country, and unless it is confronted and defeated we, our children and grandchildren will pay a severe price.

If 185+ Million was spent on the campaign and Barnes spent 32 Million, that seems to imply that Johnson spent 153+ Million. With 1.3 Million votes reportedly going to Johnson, that translates to over a hundred bucks per-vote. Sad.

# 4, the $153 million includes all the Democrat, out-of-state, Hollywood and Soros money that was poured into this race in an effort to defeat Johnson. He was in Schumer's electoral crosshairs from the beginning. Your inference is completely false.

Sen Johnson is my Senator and the finest of the bunch (glad that Sen Grasseley won too). No idea why he had to work at all against the radical, not pay his taxes Mandela Barnes but such are politics. I was going to move if he didn’t win as I was so disgusted with Wisconsin yesterday.

I'm very thankful for this win, for all of them, but specially for Senator Johnson's victory. I was really hoping for Tudor Dixon ousting the witchy Witless.

A piece of NASA's fallen Challenger has been discovered in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida nearly 37 years after the craft exploded 73 seconds into flight and killing all seven astronauts aboard. It was found by a History Channel documentary diving crew who shared footage of the find with the American space agency because the 'large humanmade object' was in 'proximity to the Florida Space Coast.' NASA confirmed it is a segment of the heat shield that was in the nose cone of the Challenger, marking 'the first discovery of wreckage' from 1986 craft in more than 25 years,' History Channel proudly announced on Twitter Thursday.

During Donald Trump’s presidency, The Washington Post kept a running tally of his alleged lies and/or misleading statements. But, when Joe Biden became president, the Post fact-checker, Glenn Kessler, announced an end to the database operation, saying: “Maintaining the Trump database over four years required about 400 additional 8-hour days over four years beyond our regular jobs for three people.” Looks like supply-chain issues at the Post. So, while the Post continues to fact-check Biden, it discontinued the Trump-era practice of running the tote board because, after all, Biden is not Trump, and the Post undoubtedly expects Biden to be more truthful. How’s that working out?

Among the politically-related opinions that I most respect are those from liberal-leaning professionals who rise above their personal political views and tell it like it is, regardless of party. Legal scholar and Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley is on that list. We’ll get to Professor Turley in a minute but first, Joe Biden. During Biden’s midterm elections post-mortem on Wednesday, he was asked about the possibility of Republicans conducting congressional investigations — if the GOP wins the majority in either chamber or both, that is — into the Biden Family Business, notably Hunter Biden‘s shady business dealings. Biden smugly shot back: “Good luck with that,”

Way back in March of 2019, I proposed the idea that, similar to the BLAXIT movement, American Jews needed to remove themselves from the Democratic Party, which no longer exemplifies Jewish values, no longer supports Israel, and is controlled by leftist extremists who are anti-Semitic. Although slower than hoped for, it looks like this might finally be happening. A recent poll after the midterms demonstrates this optimistic change. Thirty-three percent of Jews voted Republican in the primaries, up from 30% in 2020 and 24% in 2016. This new voting bloc proves two things: Jews are starting to wake up to political realities and letting go

The committee has yet to hear from outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who was in charge of security arrangements at the Capitol that day. Donald Trump is continuing to treat Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis like a political enemy. On Wednesday, Trump pooh-poohed DeSantis’s huge and historic victory by insisting that his 2020 win in Florida was bigger. “Now that the Election in Florida is over, and everything went quite well, shouldn’t it be said that in 2020, I got 1.1 Million more votes in Florida than Ron D got this year, 5.7 Million to 4.6 Million? Just asking?” Trump won Florida in 2020 by 3.4-point margin, while DeSantis won reelection by a 19.45-point margin. Sorry, Trump, I think DeSantis’s victory is far more impressive. First of all, it will make it a lot easier to take a lot of vehicles off the road, and we have more money in the pot now already out there that we voted for than the entire money that we spend on Amtrak, to begin with,” he said.

All six of the Republican candidates who seemingly benefited from the meddling in their primary victories fell to their Democratic opponents. Those races include a number of key House and gubernatorial races, as well as the New Hampshire Senate race. Democrats spent more than $40 million boosting those six GOP candidates, all of whom expressed support for former President Donald Trump as a leader of the Republican Party or were backed by him.

Republicans are seeing red, as it were, and registering their outrage in interviews and on Twitter. The problem receiving all the focus is in Maricopa County, which is the most populous county in the state. About 20% of the polling sites there reportedly had issues with tabulation machines reading ballots. Believe it or not, the Maricopa County Supervisor’s name is Bill Gates. Gates’ crack team of vote counters estimated that about 7% of the votes in the county were affected – about 17,000 ballots.
