House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Monday that the recent attack on her husband Paul will impact her decision on whether to retire from Congress if Republicans take control of the House.
In a sit-down interview on CNN's "AC360," Pelosi told Anderson Cooper that her decision "will be affected about what happened the last week or two."
The Speaker's comments come after her husband was hit with a hammer last month by a man who broke into the couple's San Francisco residence. She was in Washington, D.C. when the attack happened.

Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has unequivocally declared her intention to defeat incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp in an Election Day message. "My name is Stacey Abrams and I intend to be the next governor of the great state of Georgia," Abrams tweeted Tuesday, as voters head to the ballot box. (Tweet) Abrams, who unsuccessfully ran against Kemp in 2018, has trailed the Republican governor in the polls despite record fundraising. Her campaign has hauled in nearly $98 million, according to reports filed with the state election commission, while Kemp has raised more than $69 million. Though she is polling

It seems we have the same scenario as the Presidential Elections!
Multiple videos that we received this morning show long lines in Anthem, Arizona with poll workers explaining that the Maricopa County machines are not working.
Instead of tabulating their ballot directly, voters are being told to put their ballot into a box under the tabulator so that their ballot may be tabulated at a later time downtown.
Voters are told to just drop their ballot into the open door seen below.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Monday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that the Republican Party is “yielding to a cult” and a “thug” in former President Donald Trump.
Cooper said, “The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, others have spread stories casting doubt on what happened, fomenting conspiracy theories. What do you have to say to them?”
Pelosi said, “It’s really sad for the country that people of that high visibility would separate themselves from the facts and the truth in such a blatant way. It’s really sad, and it is traumatizing to those affected by it. They don’t care about that, obviously.

Reports of voting machine malfunctions are happening all over the US, from the west coast to the east coast.
For starters, Maricopa County is reporting broken voting machines in Anthem, which is said to be the ‘deep red’ part of Maricopa County:

Pennsylvania Democratic lieutenant governor John Fetterman’s U.S. Senate campaign filed a lawsuit Monday against state election officials, arguing that mail ballots with an incorrect or blank date should be counted in Tuesday’s election.
Plaintiffs have asked a federal judge to order all mail ballots to be counted regardless of the date voters pen on the envelope. The lawsuit comes a week after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that officials should set aside and not count mail ballots with an incorrect or empty date.

President Joe Biden concluded his political rallies for the midterms at a historically black university in Maryland, telling students they were “just as smart” as other colleges in the United States.
Biden defended the “historic” $5.8 billion in funding he budgeted for HBCUs as president.
“HBCUs don’t have the endowments others have, but guess what, you’re just as smart, you’re just as bright, you’re just as good as any college in America,” Biden said.
“That money is to build laboratories and other things for the future that you need to have access to,” he added.
Biden’s comment recalls a number of racially insensitive comments he has made about black people.

Authorities in Maricopa County, Arizona, confirmed Tuesday morning at a news conference that around 20 percent of the vote centers in the county are experiencing issues.
“In about 20 percent of the vote centers … when people will go and try to run the ballot through this tabulator, maybe one out of every five or so, of those ballots are not going through,” said Maricopa Board of Supervisors Chair Bill Gates. “It’s not like both of the tabulators in these 20 percent of locations are having these issues. This is the astonishing moment seven orcas destroyed a sailing yacht and sank it in 45 minutes, with the terrified crew fleeing for their lives on a life raft near Portugal.
Footage from November 1 shows the orcas circling and bumping the vessel, called Smousse while crew members Elliott, Augustin, Roman and Corentin were on board.
Augustin said that when they heard the boat shaking and a loud noise at the back of the yacht, they realised they were surrounded by orcas.

Former President Bill Clinton gave an indirect answer Monday when asked about his alleged ties to deceased, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Juan Mendoza, who previously worked for the Daily Caller, confronted Clinton while the former president was at a rally with Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar in Laredo, Texas.
“Any comments on the allegations of your connection with Jeffrey Epstein?” Mendoza asked.
“I think the evidence is clear,” Clinton said with a smirk.

Pennsylvania voters were rushing to fix mistakes on their early ballots on Monday ahead of one of the nation's closest Senate races after the Supreme Court ruled inaccurate ballots would be thrown out.
Residents lined up in Philadelphia to correct errors in the move that also impacts Pittsburgh, two of the Keystone State's most populous areas that will be crucial in the final tallies.
They were taking in response to state Supreme Court orders in recent days that said mail-in ballots may not be counted if they lack accurate handwritten dates on the exterior envelopes.

A lone winning ticket for the record $2.04 billion Powerball lottery jackpot was sold in Altadena, California, lottery officials said Tuesday, making the lucky ticket holder the winner of the largest lottery prize ever.
The ticket was sold at a Joe's Service Center, the California Lottery said on Twitter. Results posted to Powerball.com similarly said there was one winner who matched all six numbers in California -- the odds of which were 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association.
The winning numbers, which were announced Tuesday morning after Monday night's drawing was delayed, were 10-33-41-47-56 and the Powerball was 10, according to the association.
