Former President Barack Obama wants to save Democrats from a crushing midterm defeat by appearing on TikTok with some “painfully” nerdy dad jokes, critics said Wednesday.
Obama took to the normally young-and-hip social media platform to urge viewers to vote on “Under The Desk News,” which offers Gen Z-ers quick takes on current events.
In the sketch, the former leader of the free world sits under a desk with the host, Vitus Spehar, and urges the TikTok star to come out and cast a ballot.
“Here’s the thing: you can stay [under the desk] for now, but when it comes time for voting you’re going to have to get up,”

President Joe Biden again warned on Wednesday of Republicans taking power in the midterm elections, arguing the “very soul of America itself” was in danger.
“We the people must decide whether the rule of law will prevail or whether we will allow the dark forces and … thirst for power put ahead of the principles that have long guided us,” Biden said during a speech delivered inside Union Station.(Video) Biden began his speech by recalling a deranged individual’s attack on Paul Pelosi on Friday

President Trump Wednesday evening announced he is suing New York Attorney General Letitia James.
“Today, I filed a lawsuit in Florida State Circuit Court against the corrupt Attorney General of New York State, Letitia “Peekaboo” James. New York State is one of the most crime-ridden places on earth with murders, robberies, drug deals, and every other form of crime setting records on a weekly basis. While James does nothing to protect New York against these violent crimes and criminals, she attacks great and upstanding businesses which have done nothing wrong, like the very successful, job and tax producing Trump Organization that I have painstakingly built

PHILADELPHIA—Right-hander Cristian Javier and three Houston Astros relievers on Wednesday night combined to throw the second no-hitter in World Series history, 66 years after Don Larsen’s perfect game for the New York Yankees.
In Game 4 against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, Javier, a 25-year-old native of the Dominican Republic making his first World Series start, allowed two baserunners across six innings, both on walks. At 97 pitches and with still three innings to navigate, Javier gave way to the Astros’ bullpen, a decision made by Astros manager Dusty Baker.
In his perfect game against the Brooklyn Dodgers, Larsen also threw 97 pitches—in nine innings.

Republican Gen. Don Bolduc was physically attacked by an unknown individual before the Wednesday debate with Democrat Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Bolduc’s campaign told Breitbart News.
Kate Constantini, Bolduc for Senate spokeswoman, told Breitbart News that before the General went on the debate stage, he was physically attacked outside the building by an individual in the crowd.
It is not known if the individual is a Hassan supporter.
Law enforcement was quickly on the scene and apprehended the individual.
“Prior to the debate, an individual in the crowd gathered outside attempted to punch the General and was quickly apprehended and arrested,” Constantini explained.

PHILADELPHIA — Arguably more than any other sport, playoff baseball has more pressurized moments from start to finish, whether it’s a key hit, defensive play or managerial move.
Here are five of the key moments from the Astros’ 5-0 win over the Phillies in Game 4 of the World Series on Wednesday night at Citizens Bank Park.
1. Bregman provides separation
Situation: Top of fifth inning, bases loaded, no outs.
Score: Astros 1, Phillies 0.
What happened: Alex Bregman drilled a 100.7 mph offering from Jose Alvarado off the right-field wall for a two-run double.

President Joe Biden uttered the word “democracy” 37 times in a 20-minute speech on Wednesday that seemed to be his final pitch to American voters to vote for Democrats in next week’s midterm elections.
Biden’s speech cautioned against letting Republicans take power after the midterm election, arguing that the “very soul of America itself” is on the line. Biden’s speech came amid projections from analysts who expect Republicans to regain the majority in the House and U.S. Senate. Additionally, Democrats are playing defense in several districts Biden carried by significant margins in 2020.
As Breitbart News detailed:
Biden’s speech was sharply partisan, ignoring Democrats who protested the results

The media appears to have rediscovered political violence the morning of October 28 when news broke that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul was attacked by a hammer-wielding mad man in their California home.
The days of hysterical coverage that have since followed — certainly warranted to some degree for an alleged attempt on the life of a woman third in line for presidency — nonetheless represent a pattern of disproportionate opportunism that seems to strike whenever the corporate media and Democrats decide certain violence could serve a politically expedient end.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported in May that Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, along with Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, filed a lawsuit (Missouri v. Biden) against the Biden Administration, including Biden himself, Anthony Fauci, the Department of Homeland Security and nearly a dozen federal agencies and Secretaries.
The suit alleges a massive coordinated effort by the Deep State (permanent administrative state) to work with Big Tech to censor and manipulate Americans – from average citizens to news outlets – on issues including the Hunter Biden Laptop from Hell, 2020 Election Integrity, COVID-19 origin and extent skepticism, COVID-19 vaccine skepticism, among other issues.

The White House confirmed Wednesday that President Joe Biden will stump in Illinois Friday, ahead of Tuesday’s midterm balloting — likely in the Chicago area — and Vice President Kamala Harris hits Chicago on Sunday.
Biden will lead a get-out-the-vote event for Democrats with a focus on boosting suburban Chicago congressional incumbents — Reps. Sean Casten, Lauren Underwood and Bill Foster — who are in races that may be tightening.
A source said White House advance personnel and members of the Secret Service already had been in Chicago preparing for a possible presidential visit.

PBS took the democracy is in danger hysteria to new levels on Tuesday’s Amanpour and Company as Hari Sreenivasan interviewed Prof. Barbara F. Walter to inquire on just how close the United States is to another civil war. Walter, who wrote the book How Civil Wars Start, warned that all the pieces are in place for “Christian” “white men” to start one.
Sreenivasan began by accepting the premise that a civil war could break out and asked, “You have studied several types of societies who have been on the brink of, who've been in the middle of, a civil war, who've been after, who've survived after one.
