President Biden said Friday that coal plants are too expensive to operate, and "we're going to be shutting these plants down all across America" in order to shift to wind power in a comment that drew criticism from the Republican National Committee. (Snip) "So it's going to become a wind generation. And all they're doing is it’s going to save them a hell of a lot of money and using the same transmission line that they transmitted the coal-fired electric on, we're going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar power, also providing

Oprah Winfrey said on Thursday that she was endorsing Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman over Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in the Pennsylvania Senate race.
While Winfrey is a Democrat herself, it's notable because Oz first came to prominence as a health expert on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" before he got his own talk show in 2009, which was produced her company Harpo. His show ended in January.
"I’ll tell you all this, if I lived in Pennsylvania, I would have already cast my vote for John Fetterman for many reasons," Winfrey said during a virtual conversation with community leaders.

Jimmy Kimmel this week said that he has lost at least half of his fanbase due to his anti-Trump jokes on his late-night show.
"I have lost half of my fans — maybe more than that," the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host said on the "Naked Lunch" podcast Thursday, adding that "10 years ago among Republicans I was the most popular talk show host," according to research.
He said when former President Trump was first running for office ABC executives "hinted" he should back off on his jokes about the candidate.

A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Twitter over Elon Musk’s plan to sack thousands of staffers — as employees were abruptly locked out of their company Slack and email accounts, and barred from going into the office ahead of the mass layoffs Friday.
The lawsuit was filed Thursday in San Francisco federal court after the company notified employees it would eliminate some 3,700 jobs, half its workforce, Bloomberg News reported.
It alleges that employees weren’t given enough notice of the mass layoffs in violation of federal and California law.

Left-wing activist and filmmaker Michael Moore said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that Democrats will keep control of Congress in the midterms because the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
More said, “They’re not going to win next Tuesday. I know it seems like I take a minority position on this because the media is full of a lot of how the Republicans are surging and the Republicans are doing so well, and so this race we’re going to lose.”
He continued, “Actually, we’re not going to lose. There’s more of us than there are them, and to believe that we’re going to lose on Tuesday, they’re going to take over Tuesday,

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton joined MSNBC host Joy Reid on her show to ridiculously and falsely assert that Republicans don’t really care about crime because they’re somehow okay with Paul Pelosi’s vicious attack.
“Republicans claim you should vote for them because they’re tough on crime. But when one of their cult members commits a crime against Paul Pelosi, they couldn’t care less,” Clinton tweeted with a clip from the sitdown.
It was a “basket of deplorables” moment and was nothing short of disgusting. Her raging ego evidently knows no bounds.
“So, you know, I played that last little montage

Joe Biden Thursday evening traveled to San Diego, California to campaign for Democrat congressional candidate Mike Levin.
Biden had a very grueling schedule on Thursday so he fell apart at the end of the day.
His meds wore off.
At one point Joe Biden told the SoCal crowd that Republican lawmakers are going to impeach him if they take back the House and Senate. Earlier this year, GOP Senator Ted Cruz said Biden will be impeached if the Republicans take back the House since the Democrats weaponized impeachment with Trump, “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”

The third-ranking House Democrat played the Nazi card ahead of expected Republican wins in next week’s midterm elections, claiming the US is “on track to repeat what happened in Germany.”
House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) raised eyebrows by describing Weimar Germany as “the greatest democracy going when it elected a chancellor that then co-opted the media” in an interview with Fox News Digital.
“This past president called the press the enemy of the people,” he continued, referring to former President Donald Trump. “That is a bunch of crap. And that is what’s going on in this country.”
Social media users were quick to call out Clyburn’s comments, with many mocking

Former Attorney General Bill Barr didn’t want accountability at the DOJ and the FBI. He proved this by his actions for two years by not addressing the massive corruption in these institutions.
By not addressing the corruption, the DOJ and FBI have only gotten worse. Bill Barr now says he was hoping that there’d be accountability at the FBI. This guy had two years to address the massive corruption at the FBI and DOJ but he didn’t. Now we have a DOJ and FBI that arrest innocent protesters from Jan 6, throw them in jail for nearly two years without court dates,

“Wake up, America! Wake up!” John Lewis shouted at the 1963 March on Washington. That message is even more needed today, in the final stages of the most critical election for the survival of the American experiment since 1864. (Snip) Today, America’s future hangs on the defeat of the right-wing extremist authoritarians who have seized the name of Lincoln’s party. If we lose, news corporations and journalists with a misplaced sense of “balance,” “neutrality” and “nonpartisanship” will bear a considerable share of the blame. CORRECTION*

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that once Elon Musk’s $44 billion transaction for the social network is completed, he will reportedly terminate approximately 75% of Twitter’s staff.
In October, Steve Bannon shared during his sit-down interview with OANN New York correspondent Caitlin Sinclair that he had been informed by reliable sources that Twitter had offered Elon Musk a price cut in exchange for his commitment to two conditions.

Sunny Hostin from “The View” took a moment Thursday to condemn white women. She likened those born both female and caucasian to invasive pests.
Hostin has a particular issue with white women who plan to vote Republican in the 2022 midterm elections.
“What’s also surprising to me is the abortion issue. I read a poll just yesterday that white, Republican, suburban women are now going to vote Republican. It’s almost like roaches voting for Raid, right?”
