Tampa — With barely two weeks left before Election Day, a new Florida Atlantic University poll shows incumbent Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis with an 11-point lead over his hopeless and hapless Democratic challenger, Charlie Crist. This is the same margin as the one reflected in a Mason-Dixon poll in late September. The current RealClearPolitics average of polls shows DeSantis up by 10 points.
This comfortable lead should come as no surprise, both because of DeSantis’ solid performance as governor and because of Crist’s total lack of performance in the many offices he’s held. Inexplicably, Crist marched up the Florida political food chain, starting as a state senator in

Last month in Cherokee County, North Carolina, a high school girls’ volleyball game was played between Hiwassee Dam High and Highlands High. One of the players on the Highlands team, a biological male, hammered a spike at an estimated 70 mph. The shot looked different than the shots the biological girls were making. It was “abnormally fast,” said one witness.
The spike beaned a Hiwassee Dam girl in the head. The assaulted player went down hard, having suffered devastating injuries to her head and neck. A month has passed, and she is still suffering from a long-term concussion, including impairment to her vision. She has not been cleared to play.

Protesters twice in two weeks have crashed town hall meetings held by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, with the second event resulting in the unofficial leader of House Democrats' progressive wing known as the "Squad" deciding do essentially throw up her arms and and do dance moves until the drum-backed chants quieted.
Video of the incident Wednesday in Queens shows the two-term congresswoman sitting on the stage of a small auditorium in which the event was held doing the moves as the crowd chanted "AOC has got to go."
Still, the 33-year-old lawmaker is favored to win reelection on Nov. 8 against GOP challenger Tina Forte, considering her 14th Congressional District

His cause of death is unknown but authorities are continuing to investigate.
A spokesperson for the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office said there was “no reason to suspect foul play” at this time.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is expressing extreme confidence in his chances of becoming Speaker next year if Republicans win control of the House in the midterm elections, suggesting that divine intervention is the only thing that can keep him from the gavel. McCarthy said in an interview with Punchbowl News published Monday that he believes he can win the votes of the House Republican Conference no matter how large a GOP majority is, that the prospect of losing does not keep him up at night, and that if he doesn’t win, it wasn’t in “God’s plan.” “I think I can win

PayPal on Oct. 8 sent out an update to its terms of use, or acceptable use policy (AUP). It included a shocking addition. It reserved the right to confiscate $2,500 from people’s accounts if they spread “misinformation.” It was a clear announcement of what many already suspected: PayPal has enlisted in the information war.
This comes weeks after PayPal blocked several important accounts in the UK, including Toby Young’s personal account, the Free Speech Union, and the DailySceptic. These are hugely important venues for the English-speaking world in countering the COVID propaganda narrative. It was no accident that they were targeted.
After global protests and news coverage from alternative sources, PayPal relented

This week Department of Justice (DOJ) Special Counsel John Durham will begin presenting evidence in the trial of Igor Danchenko, the serial liar whom the FBI used as its “source” to justify spying on the Trump campaign. Durham has already made a bombshell disclosure that the FBI secretly put Danchenko on the bureau’s payroll despite knowing that the information he fed them was fabricated. There is much speculation that more evidence of the bureau’s misconduct will be revealed as the Danchenko trial unfolds.
Danchenko was the principal “source” for bogus tales about former President Donald Trump, including the infamous (and fictional) pee tape. Danchenko’s lurid fiction was the centerpiece

During a portion of an interview aired on Tuesday’s edition of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power,” New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) stated that while “the horrific crimes that we’re seeing” keep her up at night and are “frightening” people, “New York City is still the safest big city in America. Look at Chicago, look at San Francisco, look at Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Washington. People leaving New York, I’m not sure where they’re going to go because we are the safest big city in America.” Hochul said, “First of all, public safety is my number one priority. This is what keeps me up at night, the horrific crimes

Last night, our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com received Dr. Anthony Fauci’s FY2021 financial disclosures from the National Institutes of Health.
The documents contain a wealth of previously unknown information. For example, the Fauci household’s net worth now exceeds $12.6 million – up $5 million from 2019 through 2021.

In January 2022, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall forced open Dr. Anthony Fauci’s unredacted FY2019 and 2020 financial disclosures. The release followed a heated Senate exchange between Fauci and Marshall that concluded with Fauci calling the senator a “moron.”

As the Biden administration's progressive agenda rages on, shell-shocked Americans are asking themselves, "How could so much go so wrong so fast?"
From inflation to energy, immigration to crime, Afghanistan to fentanyl, President Biden has kept America lurching from crisis to crisis, failed policy to failed policy, debacle to debacle — obsessed with dismantling the Trump legacy and deliberately charting a radical course that is proving ruinous to the country. America is burning, and Joe Biden doesn't seem to care.
