Following the resignation of Prime Minister Liz Truss last week, Rishi Sunak is set to assume the role, becoming Britain’s third leader in just seven chaotic weeks. Sunak’s rival Penny Mordaunt withdrew from the Conservative leadership race Monday afternoon. “We all owe it to the country, to each other and to Rishi to unite.” Sunak is the third prime minister to hold the office since September as the Conservative Party has struggled to find a capable leader. After serving as Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2020 until 2022,

I will take the time to carefully review Sunak's bio, but if he is like the vast majority of Hindu/Indian-descent people I know, this may be a turning point in global race relations...what some people hoped would happen with Obama, but not only didn't happen but got even worse due to his own stealth passive-aggressive racism and anti-Americanism. The Hindus I have known are classic contributing immigrants: hard-working, family oriented, education-focused, entrepreneurial, and in many cases, absolutely brilliant. They get along with all races, and all races get along with them. In a word, they put the lie to rest that dark-colored people hate white people and white people reflexively hate dark-colored people. And, in my experience, they have been relentlessly competent in positions of authority. Godspeed, PM Sunak. Here's hoping you become the antidote to both race-baiting and unjustified affirmative-action.

I took a look at his bio and must be nice to be married to the daughter of an Indian billionaire - real common man touch there. Yes indeed, the Globalists have triumphed in the UK. I never understood why the British markets freaked out when Truss proposed tax cuts.... As for Hindis in the US, well, they are one group, of several, that destroyed Loudoun County and its historically conservative voting record and county government.

I don't really care if this man has an impressive bio. I find most Hindus to be quite impressive, well mannered, well educated. But they are not baptized Christians. My county near Houston is overrun with these impressive immigrants and turned it blue. And this guy is another student of the WEF? Well, England, you left the Church in the sixteenth century and the Church of England has dwindled to nothing now. The post Christian world may soon find out what a nightmarish world it can be.

Thank you for the info #4. My brand-new daughter-in-law is a 1st-generation American-born woman of Hindu/Indian-descent, and she is a delight on all fronts....lucky me! I can attest to both her brains and her work ethic which are impressive! Her recently-deceased (COVID) father was a Stanford-trained engineer, and her household both charming and welcoming. They are clearly most grateful for the blessings and liberties of our society. I wish Mr. Sunak all success in leading the UK upward during these trying times.

'Reality is setting in' as Democrats brace

Deliver this one straight into my veins, NY Times: Republicans are pressing their advantage deep into Democratic territory in the closing stretch of the 2022 campaign, competing for an abundance of House seats amid growing signs that voters are poised to punish President Biden’s party even in the bluest parts of America. Republicans need to win only a handful of seats to take over the House of Representatives, which Democrats now control by a narrow margin of 220-212. But with two weeks until the election, Republicans are looking to run up the score

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) was a man on a mission during his debate on Tuesday against Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul. The big focus of their race has been crime, the top issue in New York. Zeldin has focused on it like a laser beam, and he’s closed the gap that he originally had with Hochul. As we noted, the latest poll had Zeldin leading by under a point. That probably means that Zeldin is up by even more. But listen in the clips below, as Zeldin just decimates Hochul on crime. Hochul shows how limited the position of Democrats is on this point — all they can talk

On Monday, John Fetterman’s campaign desperately sought to lower expectations for their candidate when he faced off against Republican nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz—even going so far as to suggest that they expected Fetterman to lose. I can assure you they didn’t lower expectations nearly enough. I watched the entire debate, and I have to admit that I sometimes felt bad for Fetterman. I’m sure he expected to have bounced back from the stroke quicker and stronger than he has, but Tuesday night’s debate performance merely demonstrated just how far he has to go in his recovery. Harrisburg, Pa. — John Fetterman, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, said during a debate against Republican Mehmet Oz on Tuesday that he would support allocating federal funds to transport women across states lines to have abortions. “I would because I believe abortion rights is a universal right for all women in America,” Fetterman said when asked if he would support such an allocation of federal funds. “I believe that abortion is health care and I believe that that is a choice that belongs with each woman and their doctor.” “I want to look into the face of every woman

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom’s 37-year-old ruler, has reportedly mocked President Biden in private while questioning his mental state, a move that could fracture U.S.-Saudi relations at a time when the partnership is being tested following a move by OPEC+ to cut oil production and harsh criticism of the regime by American lawmakers. The Wall Street Journal reported that several people inside the Saudi government said the prince preferred former President Trump and has seemed unimpressed with Biden since his days as vice president while also making fun of his gaffes.

We all know how this has played out. This summer Russia started monkeying with the natural gas supply to Germany and the rest of Europe, claiming there was some technical problem that required maintenance. Then they cut the gas off completely and not long after that someone blew up the Nord Stream pipeline. The result of all this has been a huge spike in energy prices in Europe and concern that there might not be enough gas to heat homes this winter. But here we are in late October and the situation is looking very different. For one thing, Europe has mostly filled the underground gas storage tanks for the winter.

I think once we get past the midterms, there’s likely to be a countdown to when the Democrats finally start being honest about Joe Biden to sweep him to the side because of his issues. Of course, their bigger problem is that they don’t have good replacements for him. His second, Kamala Harris, has her own issues stringing together coherent sentences and doing anything that isn’t a failure. She’s also as unpopular as Joe Biden. So it doesn’t help them much. All the other possibilities, like Gavin Newsom or Pete Buttigieg, are second or third-string at best. But whoever is looking better get on it, because it’s clear

Ron DeSantis and Charlie Crist faced off on Monday evening in the first and only gubernatorial debate of the cycle. People will have to make up their own minds on that, but for my money, the beatdown by DeSantis was so thorough that I almost don’t even know where to begin. There are so many clips of him decimating Crist that I could easily cover a dozen different ones and still have

Two major Texas newspapers tell contrasting stories in their endorsements for the gubernatorial race. Republican incumbent Governor Greg Abbott is running for re-election. His Democrat challenger is Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke. The Dallas Morning News (DMN) endorsed Governor Abbott. The Houston Chronicle endorsed O’Rourke. Go figure. Both Dallas and Houston are Democrat-led big cities. Houston is traditionally a bit more liberal than Dallas, but in these endorsements, you’d think that Dallas is a conservative city. It is not, by the way, so keep that in mind. The Houston Chronicle endorses Democrats over Republicans on a regular basis. So, when a conservative garners its endorsement, it is worth noting.

Washington — Plastic recycling rates are declining even as production shoots up, according to a Greenpeace USA report out Monday that blasted industry claims of creating an efficient, circular economy as "fiction." Titled "Circular Claims Fall Flat Again," the study found that of 51 million tons of plastic waste generated by U.S. households in 2021, only 2.4 million tons were recycled, or around five percent. After peaking in 2014 at 10 percent, the trend has been decreasing, especially since China stopped accepting the West's plastic waste in 2018.
