Utah voters who tuned into Monday night’s Senate debate were treated to something relatively rare in the 2022 election: a candidate putting Jan. 6, 2021, front and center in his closing argument. Independent Evan McMullin seized upon texts Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) sent to the White House indicating a willingness to help President Donald Trump contest the 2020 election results, saying Lee “betrayed your oath to the Constitution.” Despite the well-publicized Jan. 6 hearings, including the likely final one, held last week, the insurrection has not been an overarching focus of Democrats’ 2022 campaign messaging. Politico reported last week that Jan. 6 has featured in less than 2 percent

Lol. The Democrats found that they came out worse than the GOP in the 'major threat' catagory.

When poll after poll showed much more disgust by the average American for Antifa and BLM riots then they did for Jan 6, and emphasizing the biased partisan Jan 6 hearings was just making Donald Trump more popular by the day, I haven't heard a single Demon-Rat candidate down here in Texas even mention Jan 6 in this midterm campaigning.

The threat to the democracy is the Dems and Joe Biden, and the Dept. of Justice and the FBI, they are the threat, and it is all about money and power. The American people are only a means to attain and keep their pockets lined and keep them in power so they can wield two systems of justice, one for conservatives and the other that lets them do whatever sleazy, shady, illegal crap they want to do. I hope Nov. will be the start of the American people standing up to crush their a**es.

Dear Democrats, Joy B and rest of The View:
The protest of January 6th as you say was anti-democracy. Well again you are wrong. Protesting IS democracy in action! It can become out of hand and become unlawful but even this is not “undemocracy”. Protesting to over through a government is even democracy in action! What is anti-democracy is trying to stifle and wrongly accuse those that politically oppose you by false accusations, bringing politically opposing people into kangaroo court trials, slander, forced mandates, and trying to stop people who oppose your views of wanting more power given to centralized federal government, censor those that do not agree with you in your desire to shift power to a world centralized government, and making criminals out of concerned parents at school board meetings who do not embrace WOKEness or the braining washing of their children on sexual identity issues being taught in third grade. THIS is not democracy, and is the way the left in this country is taking us. Your plan has a name. It is called communism.

The 1876 presidential election was a mess, with Hayes and Tilden each believing that they won.
It took a special committee of the House of Representatives to declare Hayes the winner, but only after he agreed to end post-civil war reconstrction in the South.
Congress, in 1887, still trying to figure out how to avoid such a mess again, passed the 1887 Electoral Vote Ac, fuzzy law that DJT was probaly trying to assert, to leep the presidency.
His problem was that he failed to say whathe was doing to stay in office, and didn't explain why Pence had the authority to reject certain electors.

January 6th was the American people showing the entrenched and corrupt DCSwamp that We The People are their employer. The Swamp did not take kindly to the reminder.

We knew by the evening of January 6th that it was not an insurrection, just a gathering of American patriots who had seen six examples of states that cheated and went to Washington to protest it. Leftists have been trying to make it a crime for almost two years.

Since we have never had a democracy, nobody is concerned about fake threats to a non-existent thing.
The threats to the republic are real, coming from the Democrat, other leftists and globalists.
