The U.S. Army is scrambling after missing recruitment numbers in 2022 by wide margins.
"The Army plans to increase its investment in marketing and is expected to expand a new program for struggling recruits, but leaders on Monday offered few new details on how they’ll fill the ranks after falling far short of recruiting goals this year," the Associated Press reports. "Army Secretary Christine Wormuth told reporters that a new recruiting task force is coming up with ideas. But any new plans would have to gel quickly in order to reverse the dramatically low enlistment numbers over the past year.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard announced she left the Democratic Party on Tuesday, denouncing the organization as an "elitist cabal.” Gabbard, who retired from the House of Representatives in 2021, attacked the institution in a nearly 30-minute video posted to her YouTube account. She did not announce plans to join the Republican Party or adopt any other political affiliation, however. "I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism," Gabbard said in an excerpt posted to Twitter. The family of a 17-year-old who died over the summer says she passed away from sudden heart problems.
Rep. Sean Casten (D-Ill.) and his wife said in a statement that Gwen Casten died in June of a sudden cardiac arrhythmia.
“In layman’s terms, she was fine, and then her heart stopped,” the grieving parents said. “We don’t know what caused the arrhythmia, and likely never will.”
According to the National Liberty of medicine, arrhythmia is an irregular heartbeat. It can refer to a heart that is beating too quickly, too slowly, or with an otherwise irregular pattern.

When the nuclear war comes – and let’s face it, it seems more likely with each passing day – our masters won’t be burned to ashes in the cities alongside the rest of us.
Instead, they’ll be underground in a purpose-built nuclear bunker, where they’ll wait out the cleansing fire of the nuclear warheads and re-emerge to rule the planet.
The head of doomsday bunker company – which has a sprawling bunker community in Dakota – claims that ‘bread crumbs’ hint at where a huge bunker complex is located.

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) has paused all gender transition surgeries for minors following an explosive report about their pediatric gender services and a letter from state legislators demanding the practices stop, according to a letter from VUMC.
“We are pausing gender affirmation surgeries on patients under age 18 while we complete this review, which may take several months. In addition, we understand this issue is likely to be taken up by the General Assembly in its next legislative session.

Joe Biden on Tuesday delivered virtual remarks at the Summit on Fire Prevention and Control from his fake White House set in the South Court Auditorium.
Biden once again falsely claimed a lightning strike previously destroyed his home.
“I was doing Meet the Press and lightning struck a little pond behind my house, it came up through the ground into the air conditioning system…everything was ruined,” Biden said. This is one of Joe Biden’s favorite lies.

With the November election just weeks away, Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams is dealing with an unusual political problem. She has become a star on the national political stage. But in her own state -- where she has proved in recent presidential and Senate contests that she can get out the vote for Democratic candidates -- she is struggling to gain momentum for her rematch with Republican Governor Brian Kemp. One problem is tepid enthusiasm among a key segment of the Democratic base: Black men. One-third of Black men registered in Georgia haven’t voted in the past several elections, with pollsters

PayPal on Oct. 8 sent out an update to its terms of use, or acceptable use policy (AUP). It included a shocking addition. It reserved the right to confiscate $2,500 from people’s accounts if they spread “misinformation.” It was a clear announcement of what many already suspected: PayPal has enlisted in the information war.
This comes weeks after PayPal blocked several important accounts in the UK, including Toby Young’s personal account, the Free Speech Union, and the DailySceptic. These are hugely important venues for the English-speaking world in countering the COVID propaganda narrative. It was no accident that they were targeted.
After global protests and news coverage from alternative sources, PayPal relented

Democrat Rep. Tim Ryan doubled down on his comments from earlier in the year calling to “kill and confront” MAGA while specifically targeting J.D. Vance in his rhetoric during the debate on Monday night.
In the heated debate between Ryan and his Republican opponent for Ohio’s open U.S. Senate seat, Ryan was confronted and asked to explain his comments earlier in the year when he told MSNBC’s Morning Joe that the “exhausted majority” needed to “kill and confront” the extremist Republican movement.
Now, Ryan, during the debate — doubling down on his comments — included Vance in the group of people he labels as “extremists.”

The White House is quietly preparing for President Joe Biden’s birthday this year as it marks the first president in office to reach the age of 80.
Politico reports some senior aides in the West Wing have discussed the upcoming milestone in Biden’s world and how to handle it.

In 2021, the president spent his birthday in Delaware, but events this year might put him in Washington, DC, for the occasion.

Photos of Jeff Younger’s smiling twin boys are scattered throughout his comfortable brick home in the Dallas suburbs. Happy moments, frozen in time.(snip)He took the boys to parks, teaching them how to hurl sticks and track rabbits along a creek, all part of growing his boys into men.
But for Younger’s son, James, now 10, manhood may never come.
James is like so many swept up in the hype of transgenderism, part of an exploding trend among youth and young adults. And Younger is among a swarm of objectors, many of them parents, fighting an uphill battle against a $2.1 billion transgender industry in the United States.
