Why Trump Must Run

The final take on the disastrous Mar-a-Lago raid and its noxious aftermath – the latest in a series of “killing blows” aimed at Donald Trump and the movement he created -- is that Trump must run once again for president and must win. The logic behind this is simple: the Deep State, in its slow, dull-witted, and utterly inept way, is making its big move, and Trump is the only visible figure who can stand against this. The Left is well aware of this, and is terrified.
Consider the timeline: on August 7, the Senate passed the “Inflation Reduction Act,” dramatically expanding government spending, including doubling the size of the IRS.

Well said, but expecting him to succeed in "draining the swamp" is pure fantasy.

FTA: "Trump has to run. If he were somehow persuaded to step down, it would be a political catastrophe for the GOP that it would likely never recover from, an act of surrender and impotence for which no historical parallels come to mind. The MAGA movement would be broken, the GOP emptied of any meaningful support. The Left would be frenzied by its victory -- absolutely nothing would stand between them and the totalitarian control they’ve lusted after since the 1930s."
There it is. You may not like Trump's personality/whatever -- I do -- but vote for him anyway. Stop this nonsense of pushing DeSantis, because "he is clearly not yet ready for national office."

I disagree that DeSantis is "clearly not ready". He has proven himself over and over! That said, I agree that Trump should run and yes, I will vote for him. I also think that DeSantis should be his VP. With the Two of them working together I think they could go a long way in draining the Swamp!

Excellent Article!!
J.R.Dunn is the only writer who questioned why DeSantis went wimpy after the Mar-a-Lago illegal raid and didn't jump all over Wray and Biden. After continually hearing and reading that DeSantis is the "Next Trump" and "Trump 2.0" I certainly expected better--especially since DeSantis would not have been elected if not for Trump.

True. Trump isn't the only one to slay the giant but he is the best and most appropriate. The FBI, DOJ, the intel agencies and the gaggle of leftist, gay and racist loons must be hanged or guillotined (figuratively). Trump has the motivation that comes from suffering for six years at their feeble cowardly hands. We need to help in any way we can. If you tolerate the Deep State you ain't an American.

If clusters like Obammy and Bidet were ready, DeSantis sure is. And Ron would not have left Donald Trump hanging fire while the election was being stolen.

A Republican Congress needs to zero out the budget for both the FBI and the DOJ. Both are clearly malicious, mob organizations

Trump! Trump! Trump! When he was president incomes were converging. All ethnic groups had rising unemployment. Old people were not afraid of the cold. The world's dictators were in a quiet mood..

Trump doesn't run, and corrupt Washington wins by default. Can't let that happen. Simple as that.

Agree that Trump should run and once elected, then DeSantis can follow him into the Oval Office but as long as Mitch McConnell is in the Senate, Trump's hands will be somewhat tied.

For me, it’s simple. Besides being the best and most effective US President in my lifetime, Trump was cheated out of his rightful 2nd term by every element of government and culture, both nationally and internationally. IMHO, it’s his if he wants it.

Trumpista view: Great article!
DeSantis supporter view: B(aloney) hit piece!
My view: Whether FPDT will declare is up in the air. The Deep State's messages have been sent and received...clearly Napoleon will not be allowed his triumphant return from political exile to head the Grand MAGA Armee. Indictments (Federal and NY state) and a perp walk are next...if he so decides. And then what is anyone prepared to do?

I know that this is a vile position, but I don’t want Trump to run. Too much baggage. I love the big galoot, but he fosters too much drama. Others can do the same without nearly as much agita.

Gag! I'm sick of the 'Trump is the only one that can do the job'. I didn't support him in the 2016 primary, but certainly supported him as the nominee. I continued support and prayers for him through the grueling term and developed a great admiration for him and his family. I HATE his campaign style - love his policy positions, HATE his ego - love his obvious love for our country. DeSantis, Noem, Pompeo - I'd gladly and wholeheartedly support. I don't think any of them could win unless Trump decides NOT to run. Whoever runs will need his endorsement, but I truly think someone else should be our GOP nominee.
